Review 1：hotel is run down. the maid didn't empty the garbage when she did our room.

Review 2：it was close to the venue we were attending. staff at check in and check out were friendly.

Review 3：I can not find my daughters cel phone and I'm wondering if she left it in the room. I haven't had time to call and ask.

Review 4：I love having breakfast included in the rate, it is much better than other hotels and to me is very important to have food available because I travel with my young kids. I also like that for the Watchtower we get a especial rate, I don't have to look around for more hotels. Thank you!

Review 5：Loved the hotel, very friendly helpful staff. Comfortable clean rooms. The best was the breakfast, very well stocked and clean, with lots of choices. We were on a 2 week vacation and this was our favorite vacations of all the hotels we stayed at.

Review 6：Travelling by public transport - it was too far from station although bus went passed the door. Close shopping was non-existent. Choice at breakfast very limited, dining room crowded and this is my first experience of having breakfast on paper plates :(

Review 10：The free wi-fi was a joke. On the day of check out its non-existant. The pool was so cold and so heavily chorlonated that we limited our exposure to under 20 mins. Just sitting in the room made your throat burn.

Review 11：Free coffee in the rooms. The room and linens were very fresh and clean. The breakfast was simple but tasty, fresh, and constantly tended to.

Review 12：We stayed here on two separate occasions--at the beginning of our trip and again on our return home. The first night there was a minor issue with our room but the staff were very helpful and attentive. Someone came to our room immediately and resolved the problem.

Review 14：Excellent housekeeping staff. Very friendly, polite, helpful, and they keep the place spotless. A wonderful group of ladies. The superb housekeeping staff will be the reason I will always choose this hotel. The breakfast staff is also great.

Review 15：Our door card wouldn't work every time ,on the middle of night we come it won't work,then m in my nighties to get ice it won't work the front desk told me to come down and have id, how do I go down in my nighties and my id is in my room as how can I get it as my door card is not working

Review 19：Hideabed in the suite has thin mattress not suitable for adults. Felt the springs both nights. The living room of the suite has no windows, poor lighting and no air conditioning unless the bedroom door is left open.

Review 23：When we came for breakfast almost at 10am, there were still a lot ofpeople having breakfast, what wouldn't be surprising considering thehotel was very busy. What surprised us is that hotel personnel wassitting and chatting with these people. It looked like they wererelatives or close friends and came specifically for breakfast at theend of breakfast time. We don't believe it is correct to bring yourrelatives to your workplace to have breakfast

Review 25：This was our 2nd time here, and we plan to stay again when we are next in Surrey. It is convenient for those who travel by public transport. Pay laundry is available, lots of choices at breakfast, even hot foods.

Access can be an issue since we were coming in from what I guess was the south (from the direction of America at least) and you had to circle the block to get to the property since you cannot make a left turn on the road. Might be off-putting to someone.

Even though the location is slightly sketchy it really doesn't matter, I felt safe at all times and BW staff are alert and monitor who goes in and out.

Review 39：Staff were friendly, breakfast was good and not just pastries, they also had eggs and bacon or sausage and fruit and a variety of juices, coffee, tea, cereal, waffles, yogurt etc. Room was a good size, bed comfortable, nice to be able to open a window a crack if you wanted to. Pillows were not great. This is a good location if your travels take you mostly in the Surrey area. Would avoid if you are touring West Van, North Van or anything on the north side of the Lion's Gate Bridge because traffic is horrible in the main part of the city. This is a great location for White Rock, the USA etc. Pool is a comfortable temperature and the hot tub is actually hot (thanks for that!).

Review 40：The rooms didn't have very good soundproofing so you could hear your neighbours almost perfectly. Thankfully ours were early sleepers.

Review 46：Although the bed was very comfortable it was small for a "queen" - I think it was a double - but we only stayed for one night so it was fine. Room smelled a bit musky... maybe a good airing would have helped. Also - bedcover was also the duvet... not my favorite thing as I am pretty sure they don't change that after every visitor.

Review 49：The pool was nice the staff were amazing. they were unaware booking.com is not following the same policies for paying with cash and coming from the same area, but the accommodated me right away. The reason I booked here was because my mom is my nanny while i work full time and she needed a break so it was nice for them to accommodate me even though their policy is no visa debit and not allowed to rent from the area. It was nice to have my mom close in case anything happened with baby and still have a nice room. the breakfast was AMAZING and i like that the coffee juice bar is free 24 hours :)

Review 51：I enjoyed the comfort of the suite and the care the staff took in ensuring my stay was a quiet one. I did telephone on my third(final) night to request another room, as I was studying for an exam.Due to a young family with children who were having difficulty settling down, my request was granted within 10 minutes and I was moved to a very quiet room. I liked the breakfast choices and having coffee and juices as needed. I appreciated the professionalism/kindness of the staff Thank you!

Review 54：I was in B.C. for the U18 soccer nationals and this hotel was a gem. Staff, facility, proximity to everything I needed to be was excellent. I have nothing negative to say. Would recommend this hotel to all and would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is well maintained and run, the staff are super, and the rooms are quiet and very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is very good, with a wide range of selections.

Review 62：There was a large sticky spill at the end of the bed underneath the hanging bedding. I didn't notice until I stepped in it as I was getting in bed. It was gross! The wifi cut out a few times and the cable cut out once.

I went to the reception and complained and they sent up a few more blankets to cushion the bed but wasn't much help..clients pay for this feature in a suite and I think they need to replace these sofa beds with an other bed.

Not the hotels fault they were rude but it still coloured our stay. Bed was very comfy but if its hot when you stay and you have a suite, there is only a/c in the bedroom and its very warm for those sleeping on the pull out. Breakfast was what was expected. An decent budget choice.
