Review 1：We have just returned from a weeks hiking in Switzerland. We stayed in the Hotel Tenne in Saas-Grund. We were absolutely thrilled with the hotel. The owner, his wife and staff could not have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful. Every effort was made to ensure that all our needs and requests were met. Our room was beautiful, well-equipped and spotlessly clean. We even had an infra-red therapeutic cabin which helps to ease those post hiking aches and pains! The hotel is situated in a very picturesque village which is within easy reach of cable cars and only a short 5 minute bus ride from Saas-Fee where other cable car routes may be accessed. We were both given passes which made all our transport on buses and cable cars FREE! There are excellent places to eat in Saas-Grund and Saas-Fee. We had so much choice! Choosing our walks and climbs was made a lot easier as the owner was able to suggest suitable routes and daily print outs of weather conditions and cable car/station status was available at breakfast time. We will certainly return and recommend this highly to anyone wishing to stay in this area. John and Jill

Review 6：A lovely welcome helped along with a good bottle of wine. Pleasant room with a comfortable bed and pillow, a bath and a seperate shower. Welll situated, close to the ski lift and bus stop with free parking. Excellent stay, would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Review 8：This place is fantastic! From the moment I booked the owner did everything possible to look after me and make my stay a comfortable one. It was really impressive. The location is within easy walking distance of the Saas Grund Telecabine, right next to the supermarket and bus stop to Saas fee (5mins away). It's also above the best pizza in Saas Grund. At the same time it is quiet with beautiful mountain views no matter what side of the building you are on. The room is spotless with a large double wardrobe and comfortable beds and reasonable sized bathroom. The basic breakfast was perfect and tasty and the value for money was exceptional. I would definitely stay here again.

Review 11：I would give hotel tenne 6 out of 5 stars, the owner deserves his own star! He went above and beyond measures to make sure out stay was comfortable. He helped us plan our trip and greeted us to make our breakfast every morning. Probably the nicest, best hotel manager ever. We ate at the restaurant attached almost every night. (We are travelers and like to try new things) -but it was that good. Thank you for such a great experience!

Review 13：Just one word : fantastic ! Not only the location of Saas Grund, close to Saas Fee and Zermatt, not only because of all the facilities and commodities available in this ski resort, but also and above all because of the outstanding and extraordinary owner of this hotel. Mr Zurbriggen will do anything to please you and help you with anything you need (communication is not a problem as he perfectly speaks at least 3 languages). We spent there 5 nights, including the New Year's evening. The room with the sauna is very cosy and very well furnished. Breakfast is gorgeous and the restaurant has a very good kitchen. We highly recommend this place for an unforgettable moment in the Swiss Alps.

Review 14：The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. We even got a lift to the bus stop in his car in the rain when we left. We were able to check out late which meant we could shower after our hike. Will definitely be back.

Review 15：The owner was very friendly, and really helpful - recommending a route to access the Weissmies, which saved us loads of time. The food was excellent - amazing pizza. I would happily stay there again.

Review 16：The family rooms were split level: ideal arrangement with young kids. The hotel is family run rather than a chain, with a helpful owner who clearly is interested in, and enjoys, his work. The onsite restaurant was a good place to eat for families. The Saas valley offers its cable car and transport network to hotel guests in summer: a real bargain.

Review 19：The town Saas Grund isn't terribly special, but does afford some restaurants and access to mountains- skiing/hiking.

Review 20：We had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel. What stood out most was the VERY friendly and accommodating staff, followed by the very clean rooms. Just 5 minutes from Saas Fee where cars aren't allowed, it was easy to take the local bus to go skiing and was a very affordable alternative to living in Saas Fee. The area is one of the most beautiful in Switzerland.

Review 21：The family room was excellent - just perfect for a couple with 2 children. The owner was the best host I have ever experienced in all my world travels. Arranging a nice welcome package with special treats for the children. Everyone was so accommodating and spoke English without hesitation. So friendly!
