Review 1：Having to leave again!
Review 2：Pousada Luar da Praia has a really good team, that works very well in making guests feel like home. They are very helpful. The breakfast has a good variety of choices, with fresh fruits, home-made juices and cakes. The pousada also offers a restaurant/bar service that it is open from 8 am until 10 pm, the prices are competitive and the food is good. It is a major plus if one wants to have a beer or a good caipirinha by the sea at night. The infrastructure is really good for a pousada. Good mattress, a frigobar, good tv, big enough rooms, good bathrooms and very clean. We stayed for 10 days on a room with sea view and we had, as many other rooms, a hammock on the entrance of the room. A major plus for relaxing and doing some reading. The pousada hast a very nice shared green spaces with a good sized pool that it is very well taken care of. The garden of the pousada is directly connected to the beach which is a very nice and long beach. A couple of times we run into sea turtles swimming by us just in front of the hotel. If you are looking to disconnect from the daily routine in a nature-surrounded and very friendly place, without expecting a luxury hotel, then definitely Pousada Luar da Praia is the place to go!
Review 3：Got there at around 5 pm and my room wasn't ready, they sent us to another room but the receptionist forgot, opened the door while I was there with my gf and wanted for us to change the room. In the meanwhile he was about fight with another guess (really) because the guess was yelling at him that he should be more respectful. Overall, it's a good place but their staff and organization could improve...

Review 7：If I have to name one thing: That the receptionists did not speak English, which made conversation a bit difficult for us.

Review 9：We note some problems related to hygiene and despite the great hospitality of the staff, we would like to point out some aspects intended to improve: 1) tap water quality negatively impressed because it had yellowish color and reported coming from the river that flows nearby, which have iron salts, also has ferruginous color. We can not know with assurance whether the sink water was treated. We bought bottled water to brush teeth and wash your face; 2) we stayed in room number 16 and bathroom hygiene is poor, needing a good cleaning the tiles, floor and carpet box. The toilet paper is not of good quality, being very rough and coarse; 3) two cups fit were not always exchanged for clean; 4) landed several flies in food for breakfast and noticed that there was no screen cover to protect them; 5) the bad appearance of two kitchen refrigerators was visible to all. Both with the outside visibly rusty. Even if it is understandable the salty air of problems, for storing food, it is important to beware of such equipment. Another problem is the time of breakfast. It runs from 8 to 10 am, but the sun comes out this time around 5 am. At 9 am, is already high in the sky. Were often 8:20 a.m. and the door to the coffee had not yet been opened.Often he started late. Thus, to better enjoy the morning, it'd better be served at least from 7am. The swim in front of The Pousada Luar da Praia is not really recommended because the waves are very strong and there are dangerous currents. However, there is very close to the wonderful beaches of Santo Antonio village, of Praia do Forte, the river beach of Embassay and even Sauipe.
Review 10：The couple receiving the owner and the staff is the best and the location of the inn by the sea is excellent, although not very easy access. It is necessary to leave the distant car in the square and then going through a bridge over the river. Quiet and desestressante site. Overall, we assess as very good season from a week at the inn.

Review 16：Excelent accomodation. To be honest the best we had during our trip to Brazil (we had 9 accomodations). The english/german/portugese speaking manager/owner is amazing helpful and is doing the best (with grat cooperation with a team) to make Your stay pefect. Every day fresh natural orange juice, super silent air condition. Comfortable rooms. About 5 steps to nice swimpool and 50 steps to the see. The pousasa looks is better then in the pictures otherwise then pousada of neighbours (we had doubs which place to choose at the beggining, becouse of pictures but fortunately, finaly we´ve choosen this one). The price-performace is for us 10/10.

Review 25：We stayed for 8 nights and unfortunately our deluxe room was not ready when we arrived and we had to stay in one of the small and dark rooms (#7) on the first night. Tap water comes from the nearby stream and has a brownish colour and we didn't feel comfortable to drink it but is was fine for brushing teeth etc..
Review 26：The deluxe rooms with sea view are spacious and beautifully located with each having a terrace overlooking the nice garden, beach and ocean. Please don't expect sophisticated facilities. The bathroom/shower is simple but clean and functional and wifi works most of the time satisfying. Good breakfast with great selection of fresh fruit, fresh fruit juices, cakes, salads, cheese and ham, bread and local specialties. Location is probably the best in Imbassai with direct access to the wonderful beach. A handful of nice restaurants you find in the little village but for everything else (e.g. shops, clubs, pharmacy etc.) you would need to drive the 15km to Praia do Forte. Our pick-up from Salvador airport was organised by the Poussada and cost 120 Real (it's about a one hour's drive). Overall we loved the place and would definitely come back. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Review 29：Had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Moonlight Inn. The pousada is right on the beach with the pool nestled between the rooms and the beach. Plenty of lounge chairs around the pool and on the grounds. The beach was nearly deserted during my stay. Breakfast was not extensive but adequate.

The owner is really friendly and does everything to make you feel welcome. The staff is great too. Imbassai is a real paradise and a very safe place. Review 47：Beds were a little firm and shower didn't have great water pressure. We half-expected that though, Imbassai is a very small town.
Review 48：Jeorge was an excellent host, going out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Transportation to and from the airport was cheap, and the taxi drivers very nice. The restaurant on site was excellent as well. The shimp moqueqa is highly recommended. Jeorge even went out of his way to score us some tickets the the France - Switzerland World Cup match in Salvador. Just a great guy who runs a great Pousada. We are a couple who likes to lay out and read. There's not much to do in Imbassai, but that's fine since we were looking to recharge out batteries more than anything. Would recommend to all who are looking for a leisurely, relaxing stay at the beach. Would also recommend a deluxe room with the sea view. Huge balconies.

Review 57：If I had to list one difficulty, it could be about getting there. I wish there were be more signs in the town that show you how to get there. We booked in the last minute and did not take the phone number to ask for directions, but asked people and it worked. Otherwise, no remarks, everything was great!
Review 58：Quiet, off-main routes location, straight at the beach. The town is lovely, has a few charming restaurants and bars. The main advantage of this place tough are its owners and staff, ready to help you whether it's a cup of freshly squeezed orange juice you'd like to have in the evening, a mosquito repellent you need or a drive to the nearest bus stop that makes your travel much more comfy. We came by car ourselves, which was comfortable. Only thing to mind is that you have to walk 200m with your bags, but that wasn´t a problem for us. (If no car, they also do airport pickups) - All together an absolute recommendation! Best place we stayed at in Brazil on one of the most beautiful locations we´ve visited.

Review 67：We've stayed at Luar da Praia for two weeks with two small children:4 months and 4 years. I could follow the list of compliments without anyproblem, but would just repeat the many positive things that had beenalready said before and that I share in most part. Luar da Praia is afamiliar place that lives with the people who manage and work there aswell as its heavenly position on a sand dune covered by coconut palmsjust sea front with the waves of the ocean that cuddle you by night.Should be enough to fall in love with a place? We had room number 1 withsea view. The rooms are not as big as published on Booking (at leastthis is not), but we had enough space all the same. It's all aquestion of organization and if you are willing to adapt to paradise,then you feel great :) Sure, the bathrooms are tiny, but if you wanted aresort with the comfort of a resort, just head two kilometres ahead andyou can have this, but you should renounce to a lot of other things as:two excellent hosts as Juerg and Edi who would probably do everything tomake their guests feel comfortable. They almost made me cry whenleaving, because they had been simply phantastic. Just to mention a fewthings as taking us by car to a city tour to Salvador, babysitting oursmall boy, cooking our loved moqueca, making the best capirinhas intown, always have time to a talk and help us out with everything,spending nights together laughing and talking ecc ecc ecc.
