Reviews for Hotel Los Navegantes

Review 1:The service which is below below average: - you book in US$ and they charge you in Pesos at an awfull rate (Q: where does this rate cole from? A: that's company policy).. Better pay cash in US$.. - service In general (coffee shop, front desk) is very poor and not helpful...

Review 2:The location and the price

Review 3:Great location and obliging staff one or two of whom spoke English. Very traditional and somewhat tired room but very comfortable. The king bed was very comfortable with sparkling white pressed sheets. There is a fridge in the room but mine didn't work. If booking a taxi, make sure that they know that it is 02:30 (2:30 am) or 14:30 (2:30 pm). The included breakfast was ordinary but plentiful, including cake and cookies, toast, cheese and ham, sweetener for coffee, sweet buns, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit salad. They also served lunch and dinner. Overpriced but considering the alternatives (other hotels which are much more expensive or hostals), it was more than worth it. Stayed two days and would definitely book here again. .

Review 4:Breakfast was supposed to start at 7, we had to catch a bus at 8, but at 7:30 there still was no hot water or hot coffee available, so we had to leave without. No apologies though, but we saw one of the reception desk staff who HAD his hot morning coffee from somewhere?

Review 5:Excellent location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Standard but clean, secure and comfortable rooms with hot showers and good wifi. Amazing night-time buffet dinner for 12, 000 CLP.

Review 6:restaurant food in evening poor. had 'filete a lo pobre' and steak as tough as old boots. fried eggs white not fried (runny) and cross when we asked for the eggs to be fried more. Don't recommend eating there.

Review 7:had a bath which have not had in any other places I have stayed.

Review 8:Breakfast was poor, lack of choice and the eggs were cold. Nothing in the minibar, that didn't bother me but it may some.

Review 9:Good location, friendly and helpful staff

Review 10:The wifi in our particular room was not very good, sometimes a strong enough signal, but often dropping out. But this appeared to just be the location of the room, as other friends in another room had a great signal. Also, no fridge in our room, but again, there were fridges in most of the other rooms.

Review 11:Was worried about choosing this hotel as some online reviews were not good, but I was not disappointed. The hotel is a bit 'dated' and in need of a freshen up perhaps, but nowhere was in disrepair. It was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant is very good, and the hotel is very near to the main street, so not far to other restaurants and shops. A great week in a friendly hotel.

Review 12:This is an old building, but has lots of charm with dark varnished walls around the bar/restaurant., the passageways and lift were in need of an update, but the room was fine and very warm, it was winter time and icy outdoors. was worth the $70 I paid for a single. Staff were helpful with good bar snacks, and food in restaurant was great. City center location. Only had 2 nights here, on returning to Falkland Islands, due to ice didn't get out far in the center, but plenty small shops near.

Review 13:The rooms were a bit dirty and not as high standard as the price would suggest.

Review 14:Great location.

Review 15:The woman at the front desk was helpful, spoke English well, and had a great attitude.

Review 16:Very poor maintenance of the bed room and bathroom

Review 17:Bad internet. Poor breakfast. It's an old building, staff was friendly but never actually got the problems fixed after my requests.

Review 18:Great location

Review 19:Nothing, did what it said on the tin

Review 20:Location near bus departure point, high quality breakfast, spacious rooms

Review 21:the stuff almost made us miss our flight

Review 22:the location

Review 23:Clean, quiet room. Very helpful staff. Not sure why this hotel has poor reviews elsewhere online, as it is perfectly ample and about what should be expected for the price.

Review 24:We prefer a double or queen bed, but it seems only twin beds are in thisproperty (normal for outside the U.S.). And, our view was of a rooftop.

Review 25:Great decor in the lobby, with large antique maps of the world and ofPatagonia. Welcoming staff, with a welcoming drink awaiting us in thebar. Great location in the heart of Punta Arenas.

Review 26:We did not appreciated that, after 5 nights stay, the cashier pretend toaccept my Mastercard (that is sticked everywhere in the lobby), andthen, after 2 or 3 fake tries... And explanations, it appears that theydo not have the required equipment ! I had to go to a dab next door& pay in 'efectivo', no rebate.

Review 27:Hôtel très bien situé en centre ville, avec de grandes chambres, où toutest un peu désuet / Hotel is very well situated, right in the middleof the town center. Large rooms, but where everything (notably bedding!) is ... out dated.

Review 28:Some paeticulars not at the level of the Hotel1) internet desk in a little space under a staircase 2) 2 bulbs in the room estinguisched 3) frigobar empty and not working 4) impossible to clouse the wardrobe door

Review 29:Confort and dimension of the rooms

Review 30:Seems like it was once a very good hotel, now it feels a bit shabby....could do with a fresh coat of paint and new carpets.

Review 31:The location is great, walking distance from many points of interest. Restaurant good and friendly staff allover.

Review 32:A hotel that has seen its better days. With an upgrade it would be excellent.

Review 33:Centrally located in the middle of town. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Review 34:breakfast could be worked on, but is more than adequate

Review 35:Check in/out hassle free Staff friendly polite Quiet location Free parking

Review 36:their reservation system was confused

Review 37:location

Review 38:Low signal WiFi

Review 39:Very helpful in every detail
