Review 1：The heat was turned off in the hallway and the rooms. When we entered the room it was freezing. I turned up the heat and we went out for dinner. The room was still cold when we returned. Very hard to heat a room when the rooms adjacent to and the hallway are not heated.

Review 2：The hotel had a lot of charm and the staff were friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean.

Review 3：No heat in bathroom, out dated just try to cover up with wallpaper, coffee machine old and drirty. tv didn't work properly close captions was on would not turn off.

Review 5：The smell in the room was not pleasant- not sure if it was a previous smoking room. Bathroom was clean enough but the room needed a good vacuum. Not worth what we paid in my opinion!

Review 13：I was very unimpressed with the room as it was in disrepair and the bathroom was dirty. When you walk in it seems like a lovely hotel the rooms however are not well kept. I would not recommend this hotel.

Review 14：The front desk staff member that was on in the evening was pleasant as well as attentive, However the daytime staff member was not as pleasant.

Review 15：They didn't have any wings in the restaurant, and they didn't take debit in the restaurant. I had to pay bank fees to use the bank machine.

Review 21：We walked down to the pool then had to come back up for a key. We had to carry our own luggage and there was no elevator.

Review 25：I got there the lady at the front desk was rude like as if shedidn't want to be at her job. Then she gave us our room, the airconditioning was on and wouldn't turn off. The room was freezing.When I finally decided to call the front desk for help a man came andwas asking me personal question that had nothing to do with his job. Hebrought up my last stay and asked where the girl was I came with thelast time. I felt that was out of pocket he shouldn't have donethat what if I didn't want the people I was with now to know j hadbeen there eonce before. Anyway he couldn't get it turned offeither. He then brought a space heater but the outlet in the roomwasn't working. Can you believe it? We're in 2015 how do yousell a room with the outlets not working. So the man was nice and gotsome extention cord. Then in the morning the front desk kept callingthe room. When I called the front desk to ask why the called 4 timesand haven't said anything when ever we answer they told me I musthave ordered a wake up call. I didn't order any wake up call so Itold them that and all the lady actually the manager this time is who Iwas soeaking to. All the manager had to say was "anyways if yourstaying another night then you need to Come and pay". So I toldher I would come at 11 since it was only 10. After that you think theywould stop the calls? Nope I got two more after that. I had a doubleroom bed for 160 when I found a way better hotel newly renovated andeverything 2 queen beds for 130, and it was right across the street. SoI was tired of the bad treatment I went to the front desk not to payfor another night but to check out. When I explained my bad experiencethey told me they had someone coming to fix the air conditioning andthat they didn't understand what I was complaining about because Iwas brought a space heater.

Review 52：The convenience of the location is phenomenal, it's right as you enter town, there is everything from gas stations to grocery stores minutes away including a movie theatre, restaurants... and much more. The staff are wonderful and very welcoming!! The building is beautiful and the rooms are cozy. Most of all I liked that I felt at home although I was 6 hours away.

Review 53：unfortunately there was large group of young folks next door that were having a party!! Had to wear earplugs in order to go to sleep Woke at 3 AM after only about 1 1/2 hr sleep and they were still partying. Very expensive for a room that had no sound barrier between the walls

Review 55：Our non smoking room reaked of smoke and bothered my allergies. Smoke from rooms will eventually permiate throughout the building, there is no way to stop it. Your facility needs to become all non smoking in order for all guests to enjoy comfortable clean smelling rooms. I will not return until this happens. Cracked and peeling plaster and paint need to be maintained on a regular basis.

Review 57：The place is a bit noisy. Specially one hears the people talk in their room,and in the hallways, and when they people from the lower floor have their conversation over a cigarette outside. Not to pleasant.

As I entered the room and turned on the light switch there was no light, I had to call to the front desk get a light bulb. I think housekeeping was aware of this and ignored it.The towels are very old and the washroom and tub and toilet needs to be cleaned properly.

Review 64：It was a very nice hotel. Resteraunt is not for kids and not a cheap meal but very good food. The lady at the desk let us use the pool even after it was closed which was very nice as we arrived later than anticipated. Outside could use an update but inside looks good

Review 65："It's been let to run down conditions." Drapes were stuck...had to call the front desk to close them at night. Bathroom had paper and plaster handing off the wall..little rubber plug in the sink...etc hated the Key Locks

Review 67：Our first room had an unpleasant odor and we needed to switch rooms. They were quick with an apology and a new room, though, which was okay. There was no in-room fridge, we brought a cooler. Not a big deal, really, but would have been nice... I would have liked to see more coffee supplies in room. Nice mugs, but only enough cream and sugar for 1 person...no tea.

Review 68：Overall we were pleased with our stay. The service was excellent, the location suited our needs, and the price was fair. This is an older hotel--if you want the Hilton, go there instead. This place was clean but dated and if you are picky about things like that, spend the extra $$ and go somewhere else--don't complain about it when you are trying to save a buck. We would absolutely return should we need to, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Ambassador to friends. We did not stay long enough to check out the restaurant or the pool; the in-room menu looked really good though. Another good thing--real mugs for the coffee! No puny little styrofoam cup that holds 1/2 an ounce.... The ground floor rooms each had a separate entrance out to the parking lot, and benches to sit at which was a nice touch. It made loading/unloading much easier.

Review 69：Wifi was restricted to 3 devices for a limited time. Not enough towels in the room. Pool was locked and key/towels had to be obtained from front desk. No trust in customers. Everything had to go thru front. Breakfast was very limited. No yogurt, no waffles, no hot food, just cereal and toast. Hotel needs to move ahead with the times. No hot tub.
