Review 1：The staff are uninformed. For example, they do not know if the shuttle is running. The hot tub was not working when it was advertised as one of their facilities.

Review 7：The linen closet was messy however and extra towels and sheet were thrown in there on the floor. There also wasn't great lighting in the room. I also received attitude from the lady at the front desk named Alyssa. We went to the hot tub around 8:45 on a Tuesday night and she notified that it was closed... I told her the brochure said 10pm so that didn't make sense. After insisting - she allowed us to stay. She said 20 minutes but it ended up being 9:45 by the time we got out anyways so I don't understand why she lied to us. On top of that, the hot tub was turned off? The next morning when we came back to talk to the manager Alyssa was sitting there. She directed our attention away from the manager and asked if we were going to the hot tub again? I said yes, I looked at her and told her about the hot tub temperature and she said it was broken the night before and now it is fixed? I found this odd.
Review 8：I liked how clean and comfortable the room was. We had nobody bother us throughout the night and the shuttle service was spectacular.

Review 15：1. The CC used for your initial payment is not actually Last payment. You have to show them at checkin time to prove you are the payer. This made me frustrated since my card was cancelled a couple of days ago due to the security breach. Look out that the payer has to be physically there, which means you cannot only pay it for your firiends/family, which is not typical and informed in advance. 2. I looked for a room for 2 adults and 2 children ( age of 12 and 10) and the room had just 1 Queen sized bed. What they probably assumed was that I would sleep on a couch? It was terrible experience in terms of sleep. 3. The fireplace you may see at the time of booking is actually an illusion thing of the electric. No heat from there, so don't dream of it. 4. Provides only 2 free breakfast vouchers and that's it. One for one day. You will have to pay $20+ for adults but the meal seems too pricey because it is just complimentary breakfast with only potato, bacon, scramble and bread things like that. (No yogurt, fruits, deserts) I strongly recommend you make your own meals or dine out somewhere else. 5. If you call them to change your booking details or update with any additional request, they will tell you to email instead. They don't have a system to handle such via phone. However, they don't promptly reply your email and you won't have any idea what's going on with your request until the last day before your checkin. Simply put, the commutation is one-way. 6. A couple of cents for them... Please smile!
Review 16：The location was good as it's close to Blue Mountain, which saved my time. The facility was overall clean and all kitchen utensils & equipments are properly provided, so you won't feel too much inconvenience. Parking lots are just enough.

Review 19：Many of the advertised amenities were not in working order. For example, there was a fireplace with a table, a tv and a ton of cords piled in front of it. There was a tv...but we could only get 1 channel?! There was a jacuzzi tub, but the jets were not working. Also, the on site restaurant was a disaster (and that is putting it nicely).

Review 28：Stayed for a hockey tournament. Location was excellent to travel to Thornbury and Collingwood. Quiet no noise. Clean room and delicious breakfast included. Very close to village for shops and a variety of restaurants. The studio loft had nice view of the mountain. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very pleased with our weekend away.
Review 29：We heard some rattling throughout the night. The following morning we saw the pizza box and pizza were eaten by mice. We should've told the staff, however it was our check out date and forgot about it by the time we left.

The following things did not work or needed improvement. - both outside lights -two of the stove burners -3 light switches (burnt out bulbs in almost all lights) -there was no bed skirts on any of the beds, so you saw all the stains -there was no shower curtain in the downstairs bathroom -the outlet in the upstairs bathroom did not work -all the knifes were dull -carpet smelled like mold.

Review 51：The carpet in the first unit we got was DISGUSTING. The fridge was broken and the noise was so loud we couldn't sleep. Paying the same for different quality of units makes no sense - this isn't a resort if the room standards aren't the same.
Review 52：Few minor maintenance needs such as curtain rod falling off wall. Kitchen table only had 2 stools yet condo sleeps 4 - where to sit when eating? No coffee maker in room, but Starbucks coffee was available at check-in counter.
Review 53：We stayed in studio plus loft. Very comfortable for 4 people (2 queen beds + 2 bathrooms). Easy check in process. Price was comparable to standard hotel room. 3 minute drive to resort village. Walking distance from North chair, will return in ski season.
Review 54：got there checked in and the other couple we were travelling with ended up in an outdated condo and not properly cleaned with notable damage. They were relocated to a better unit. but only at 10 pm.

We took this location because of the on site restaurant . It was closed the entire time of our stay. No one to give us a heads up on that. Had to ask about the hot and where to access it.
Review 69：Quiet in September; ample parking; not far from the Blue Mountain village , the Scenic caves or zip lining. Great to be so close to Collingwood as well.
Review 70：The room was remarkably shabby - stains on the carpet, ripped pictureon the wall, ripped couch, stained mattress on pull out couch. Theshower rod was propped against the wall with the curtain folded on theside of the tub when we got there and didn't want to stay up atall (housekeeping obviously aware of the issue). The back portion ofthe room was so dark, despite there being a night stand and outlet,there was no lamp, and no overhead light - we had to read in bed atnight using our iPhone flashlights and get dressed in the dark. Get alamp! The party upstairs was noisy, though I understand that's notthe hotel's fault - but while staring at the ceiling listening tothem, I couldn't help but notice all the badly patched waterdamage areas. We were generally slightly uncomfortable all weekend(for $150/night..) and relieved to leave - the little thingsreally do count. I hope the hotel considers some major roomfacelifts/renos soon.
Review 71：The location of Mountain Springs can't be beat for proximity to thevillage and other sites in the area like Scenic Caves (not to mentionthe ski hills in the winter!). The kitchen was well supplied (spices,dishes, utensils, etc.). It was handy having laundry in the room (butno soap..).
Review 72：Minor renovation is due for the property. Staff could be more helpful. Instruction in "how to open the door lock" should be provided since it was quite difficult to unlock the door the first few times!

There was just a bunch of little thingsthat needed to be cleaned better; spill on wall by kitchen, crumbs inkitchen draw, bugs on the window sill not new, fridge need bettercleaning, the bed skirt was very dirty (needs to be replaced) and whenwe opened the couch for sleeping there was a lot of crumbs. Maintenance;back of door needed repainting, kitchen draw handle broken, tile at thedoor cracked, deck replacing and ski lockers need replacing and flooringaround bed missing pieces.

Review 117：The A/C wasn't working and was difficult to work, also some necessary pans were missing so it was somewhat difficult to cook. Had to go out and buy utensils myself.

Review 119：The patio faced the street and another patio was close beside it so it wasn't very private. The bed was hard but we prefer soft beds so that is just based on preference. The Jacuzzi tub was a nice option to have but the jets were too clean so we didn't use them.
Review 120：The full fridge, stove and dishwasher were a nice added touch, although we didn't use the oven it was nice to have the option. The full fridge allowed us to bring our own food and store it nicely. The TV was updated and had a USB input as well as a Blu-ray player which was very convenient. The room was small but it felt spacious, the use of space was great and it had everything we needed. The room had all updated stainless steel appliances, tiles, paint, pictures and fixtures. The location was great, it was a 20min walk into town along the paved path and 30mins walk to the beach along a paved path. Great area for biking and walking around to explore.

Review 123：The picture shown on the computer when I booked was definitely two bedroom, and a renovated room. We arrived, to get a one bedroom suite. When I asked for another room, the girl was nice enough to have us look at 4 other rooms that we finally settled on, because my two young children were tired, and frustrated . The room we finally settled on, was not clean, it had a bad smell. I had to clean it before we put any of our belongs down, had to buy Lysol spray to eliminate the funny smell. There were died bugs everywhere, along the ledge of the upper window, on the upper floor. The pool was nice, however a lot of bees which stung a little child . Overall, will not return to this lodge .

Review 131：We checked in a on Sunday for one night and was grateful to have received two free food vouchers for The Lodge. It was valid for breakfast or a free dinner appetizer. Unfortunately, we were not advised that The Lodge was closed all day on Monday. We would have certainly used the voucher on the Sunday evening if we knew. It was incredibly disappointing to have made breakfast plans and they fell through. WiFi did not work in the room either.
