Review 1：Food menu was not very varied. We had a studio on the 1st floor above the restaurant and sometimes a strong food smell was coming through the vent hood.

Review 2：A beautiful place, the beach is not crowded, everything you need for a relaxing stay: swimming pool, spa, tranquility.

Review 3：The staff in the restaurant were terrible as they were not friendly or polite, the breakfast was disgusting. Hotel with the amount of stars they have should not allow to provide the vial food that they do and the staff that they have employed.

Review 9：Restaurant was terrible. Breakfast was very poor and the same every day.I have had better breakfast in 2 star hotels. There were only a fewchoices in the restaurant dinner menu and in my opinion a bitoverpriced. Service was awful, I had to go an call the waitress myself.Furthermore, the table covers were very dirty.The other thing was that there were very few places next to the pool compared to the size of the hotel and not all places had umbrellas for them. In general this is NOT a 4 star hotel and I would not recommend it to anyone. Moreover, I had booked the room for 1 week but I wanted to leave on the second day because the hotel was nothing like what is advertised but I had to pay the full price for the stay because of booking.com policy. Booking.com please do not give false evaluation for such bad hotels.

Review 11：Breakfast wasn't spectacular but there are many places around where you can grab a quick bite and it's super cheap. The beach is really close, but you have to go down 200 steps - going down isn't the problem, going up is!

Review 12：The hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel is next to Obzor village, 15 minutes away walking on the beach. The beach looked wild and the water was clean. The hotel looks very nice, our room was huge and had a sea view. It was also very quiet which for us was a perk. The village is close enough for you to enjoy the night life, with restaurants, clubs and bars only a short walk away.

Review 17：You have to take a shuttle to get to life. You have to ask to get the basic cooking facilities in the apartment with the kitchen, like frying pan and sharp knives, kettle. They should be all provided I think.

Review 23：No kitchen facilities. We booked an apartment for 3 adults and 1 child and they provided: 1 spoon, 1 fork, 1 plate. When asking for more, including some pots they kept saying that they will ask at the kitchen and give some if available. After several hours of receiving the same answer and only when I started to actually argue about it, they provided us a broken pot. This was the rudest thing ever. As I complained about it, in 10 minutes they were able to provide a good pot. It all turned into a "We begged for some plates and pots" thus we decided to leave after 1 night even though we booked 7. And trust me, it was a good choice to do that as there are other hotels in the area that worth the money. Breakfast was bad and coffee (instant coffee) even worse. Dinner (buffet one) was even worse than breakfast. The nearby location gives you the impression that things are not yet completed. The same filling you get if you'll take your car in the garage. Internet was very poor in the public areas. Stop advertising for sea view in your apartments.Not all of them have it.

Review 24：Room: - the wardrobe does not have enough shelves; Bathroom: the wallpaper was cut out probably due to flooding; marks of flooding on the ceiling; there was a small leakage from a pipe; shower gel and shampoo was not replaced during our staying (6 nights) - luckily we had our own; Hotel: there was a table tennis with destroied balls and paddles; Food: coffee: bad, Beach: 210 steps to the beach throw a small forest (very pleasant but quite far from the hotel especially that you have to carry lot of things with you). In the afternoon there is no sun on the beach (the sun is behind the clif). You can go to Obzor if you have a car (5 minutes drive)

Review 29：Hotel is a bit too secluded. Wifi is not working at all in the rooms, just at the reception. Restaurant staff is maybe from a different planet, they will always bring you something different from what you ordered, the dinner/lunch will last for hours because the waiter forgets who you are or what you want. The beach is nice and not too busy, but it lacks a few basic amenities: beach umbrellas, as there are no places in the shadow all day long; maybe an eco toilet, for emergencies; maybe a small beach bar etc. There is absolutely nothing on the beach, so you would need to bring all you need with you (beach umbrella, beach towel or chairs, drinks), unless you want to climb the 190 stairs several times during the day, for whatever needs you might have...

Review 34：The location is a bit secluded, at approx. 5 min drive to the center of Obzor. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is it, but if you like to be in the city, where you have the shops and restaurants, you need a car to get there. We had a studio which was very nice, with a kitchenette that we didn't need. Indoor and outdoor parkings are available. We had breakfast included, which was ok, although the same every day. To summarize: nice and peacefull place away from the busy city, wild beach 190 stairs down the cliff, ok food and room. A bit too pricey for what it offers, more like 3+ stars than 4...

Review 35：the location in the middle of no where ! in a middle of a forest, no proper way to or street to reach the hotel. you need 45 min to reach Sunny beach & taxi cost 60 lev ! the staff never ever know what is th emeaning of Customer service, they r rode to the max never been helpfull & always they give us the wrong information ! wifi dont ever think it will work . breakfast not worth to go for it > the room is disty ollllddd, the bathroom is very old & low light with no eminties. the sofa bed you cant set on it, its too much dirty & the color of it has been changed. we have moved to another hotel as we cant stay any more in this rooms its full of ants ! لا انصح ابدا ابدا بهذا الفندق رديء للغايه بعيد عن كل شي ة يفتقر لكل الخدمات ، الفطور لا يوجد به شيء ، الموظفون سيئين التعامل و دايما يعطونا المعلومات خاطئه من حيث الخدمات او الاسعار او حتى الاماكن. الفندق يحتاج لتأجير سياره لانه المواصلات جدا مكلفه و يبعد عن السني بيتش 45 دقيقه

I was lucky having 3 credit cards with me, only the 3rd one worked after 30 minutes of trials and phone calls to support staff - although I never had any problems using them anywhere else in Bulgaria. -Coffee at the breakfast tasted marginal at most. -I must emphasize though that despite the small inconveniences we enjoyed very much our stay, it was good value for the money and I would recommend this place to others.

Review 42：-Very nice location, above the beach, which can be approached on a nice woodden path with stairs in a forest with pleasant shade. -The sandy beach was never crowded, sometimes at 9 o'clock we were the first family to arrive. Yet the first booths selling snacks, icecream and beer are just 3-400 meters away. -We booked a one-bedroom appartement and I was pleasantly surprised we had a two-floor appartement, with living-room on the first and bedroom on second, both with own bathroom and balcony. My daughter who slept on the living-room coach certainly appreciated having her own bathroom. -Staff was friendly and helpful - for our double bed we asked to have two separate blankets instead of a double one, and next day it was replaced. -We only had breakfast in the hotel, that was plenty, large variety to choose from, and delicious

Review 67：This hotel has 4 stars rooms but a restaurant of not more than 2 starsjust because of the personnel- stewards and chief of staff, in fact theentire personnel team seems to be not trained enough for a 4 starsresort, they do not have basic knowledges in respect of serving thedishes and beverages to groups, they cannot communicate with clients andperhaps are not motivated enough to properly interract with clients. Webooked a full boarded package and amazed to find that the hotel hasspecial rules in respect of beverages served, for example sparkling/soda water is not considered as non-alcoholic drink in connection to afull board meal plan. Spa baths are either not working or not properlyworking, we changed our room and found both bath tubs to have leaks.Consumables are not suplied in due time, but only at request whichcannot be the case of a 4 stars hotel!

Review 71：The staff of the hotel, although very nice and polite, left the impression of not being very well trained and most of the time seemed petrified. The breakfast had nice food but it was pretty much the same every other day, which is ok if you only spend a weekend, but becomes a nightmare if you stay for 10 days. There were other minor negative aspects (for example- not enough sun beds around the pool area; the everyday cleaning of the room consisted of only taking out the trash, bed sheets and towels were changed once every 3 days or so, and the complementary toiletries were only given once and never refilled, etc) but if you're willing to over look these minor flaws you could have a really great and relaxing vacation at this hotel. Just think of it not as a 4 star (which it barely qualifies as) but as a really really good 3 star hotel.

Review 72：If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing spot to spend your vacation at, this is the hotel for you. It's located right outside Obzor, with pretty much a private beach away from any kind of touristy annoyances. The beach is very quiet and clean with very little number of people coming there. It's easily reachable by 190 steps right from the hotel. This could be a problem for families with small children or people experiencing difficulties with their legs, however, I personally quiet liked them. This hotel is also good if you're coming by car, which then gives you the freedom of easily exploring nearby attractions and going into Obzor for pretty much anything you'd need. The hotel also has a large garage which is free for guests.

Review 73：Loud music at the pool bar next to our window, too strict rules: nosleeping on the balkony, no moving the furniture far from music. Nowhereto walk in the evening and nothing to do.

Review 77：Location out of town meant either taxis (very varied in prices charged !) or a long walk into Obzor (if you didn't have own transport), although hotel does run a shuttle service in the day. Steps coming back up from beach are tough and would not suit elderly or those with limited mobility, but there is no real alternative to access the beach other than going into town. Food hygiene at breakfast needs looking at - With doors left open to the restaurant, meat and cheese plates became covered with wasps on a daily basis - cover the food or close the door.

Review 79：Our room was not so good and the bathroom was leaking. We asked for another room but the receptionist refused because we were staying only for 2 nights! The receptionist at checking out was also a little bit rude and we waited a lot for checking out - more than 40 minutes! The beach nearby(south beach in Obzor) is not so good - very small and crowdy. The shuttle services to Obzor are quite inconvenient as timing.

Also there are now beach beds and sun umbrellas even if you ready to pay for it use. The beach beds near pools are not enough for all guest, so tourist from Russia reserving all free beds with their towels and after go to the sea, so if you want to use this beds you must be first near it.

Review 83：We booked double room and received twin room. When we complained aboutthat they told us that would talk to the manager and replace our room.The staff did not call a whole day. We complained the next day but againnothing happened. The staff were explaining to us that it is notspecified anything into the more requirements and details section.&Quot;Why I have to specify that I want double room when I've bookedand paid for double room?" We did not receive another room, anyexplanation or excuse for the whole stay. And we were not the onlypeople with wrong given room at that time. Also keep in mind when youpay with credit cards because they have problems with the pos terminal.It may happened to be charged twice or more and deal up with banks weeksafter your vacation. It is better to pay cash. Poor Internet connection,do not rely to have Internet in your rooms.

Probably theonly bad experience we had during our stay was the lack of light aroundthe wooden stairs during our first night at the Cliff. When we let thereceptionist know he apologised, admitted he was aware of the problemand explained there was some kind of technical fault and the supportteam was working on it. The next day everything was fixed.

Review 92：I was a bit sceptical about booking the Cliff for our holiday but mypartner fell in love with the hotel when she saw the pictures(especially the wooden stairs) and insisted on going to this place. Nowwe are back and I am really glad she insisted on going there. It is alovely place.Good things about the Cliff: 1. Very clean and tidy. 2. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. 3. We thought it was good value for money. 4. The rooms were very spacious, well decorated and very well maintained. 5. The wooden stairs to the beach were very interesting (although going back from the beach to the hotel was tough on a few occasions after spending most of the day swimming or walking down the beach). 6. We only had breakfasts in the hotel so we cannot give any useful opinion about the food. However, we can say the food in the restaurants in Obzor was really good and cheap. Also, if you are looking for a nice place to have a few drinks definitely visit Bedrock bar (situated at the city centre of Obzor) and the Breeze lounge bar (situated on the beach lane).

Review 93：The food does not correspond to a 4 star hotel at all.Price/quality ratio was not up to the standards-way too overpriced.The quality was not good enough either.I've had a dessert that was awful ( had to choose from 3 available only ) and I was charged even though I returned it,poor menu apart from pastas.It looks like they do not have sufficient staff ,it was more of a family hotel thingy at moments.The service at the restaurant definitely was not up to par.I've been served much better at a local bar.Wi-fi coverage problems all around the area except reception desk.The cheapest price of 160 levs per double room per night,food included should be enough to have someone around whom I can order a drink around the pool rather than going myself back and forth or ask the waitress to get rid of the empty plates on the table after dinner.There are other 4 star hotels around Obzor with ultra all inclusive service for a bit more of the price and extraordinary service and food.They really need to iron out the service level and food quality,apart from that it is a very nice hotel.

Review 99：Very poorly signposted from the road (difficult to find). Too basic breakfast (so common in Bulgarian restaurants, but the room price is not so common!). Very very bad coffee (another of those nasty Nescafe machines). Apartment was large but furnishing was basic. The water pipes had large flow variations, so it was impossible to keep a constant temperature for the shower (the temperature changed all the time from very cold to scalding).

Review 100：Secluded and quiet hotel away from all the ugliness and noise of more developed areas. Nice sea views. Quiet beach (yes, there are some stairs to and from the beach; but so what?). Nice common grounds (terraces with deckchairs, tables and chairs, etc). Nice staff.

Review 103：273 steps to go to the beach ! Beautiful swimming pool - closed at 6.00 pm !!! Room not cleaned after the first nigth. Additionnal bed really unconfotable even for a 10 years child !

Review 105：Check in was a bit awkward wanting to keep passport "not permitted", hot water not great as was wifi problems. Pool very good and most staff very helfull, place clean but bath and fitting could be a bit better, also switch on AC climatic at reception and restaurant would help a lot, way too hot to eat. Overall not bad for Bulgaria but room for improvement, also asking for money upfront for whole duration not very polite, must have had a few runners. would probably go back.

Review 106：Not everything in the room was in good condition (E.G. tap for warm andcold water was switched). Taste and volume of the music in the wholehotel (including the pool area) was very strange and not compatible.If one can accept these shortcomings,then it is very nice place to stay.

Review 109：The Cliff is a truly stunning hotel. The location is dreamy with views that are picture perfect. Some people commented on the 200 plus steps down to the beach, but I thought the wooden winding steps and railings made with driftwood were delightful and added to the feeling of being in a private and secret place! Also, with a hotel named The Cliff, perched on a cliff, steps down to reach the beach are to be expected! The rooms are spacious, elegant and pristine. I was in love with the decor, from the wooden four poster bed to the clasical floor tiles. Even the public toilets in the reception were unbelievebly lovely! Whoever was responsible for the interior design of this hotel deserves an award! I have traveeld worldwide and stayed in many lovely places but the cliff is truly gorgeous and the location is amazing. If you are seeking elegance, luxury and absolute peace and quiet then the Cliff is for you. Bonuses are easy location to Obzor town, we walked barefoot along the stunning beach in twenty minutes, enjoying every moment. The town itself is quaint with a lovely main square and nice restaurants. Highly recommend for a relaxing and chilled out holiday in a hidden gem of a hotel at an unbelievable price. Still pinching self.
