Review 1：The pillows were flat pancakes (had to go buy one after the first night). Also, the pipes seem to knock in the walls, fine during the day...very disruptive at night.

Review 5：When I booked I said 2 small dogs with me. Got a hassle at the desk NO DOGS allowed it will cost $10 more. Owner did discount that when I complained however. Should not have been hassled about it.

Review 11：Motel under construction. Not told about it. 5 ft hole on front of office . My husband was told to jump over it. He is 72. Major dust from the construction . After a bit of a hassle did receive a refund. There were planks leading up to the rooms. Not impressed.

Review 12：When checking in coupons for the free breakfast were not given, but no problem with staff and when we ordered off the menu they didn't charge me for the extra. This is an older motel, but comfortable. We only slept there. Did point out that air conditioner needed to be cleaned vents very dirty and the toilet flusher broke the morning we left. Little things that are easily fixed. Would go back again.

Review 13：Like the one floor motel easy in and out. Staff was very nice and friendly. Food was very good, like that restaurant was attached to motel for easy access. Here the food was freshly made. I prefer this rather than buffet style. Liked that it had laminate floors. Carpeting is harder to clean. Will recommend this motel to my friends.

Review 41：When arriving @ motel I was told our confirmed reserv. for 2rooms (made in March )could not be met, so the 6 of us stayed in 1 room. The extra towels supplied were 2sets short, floor had some sort of 'soot' on it, our feet were black!

The food is unbelievable, hats off the Sherry for the great food and that Butterscotch cake was the best cake I have ever. Stayed there for a week and will always stay there when in the area!!! The staff took pains to make me feel comfortable, even bringing food to my room so I wouldn't need to wait in the restaurant for it to cook. I was even given a voucher for breakfast! Chateau Guay provides excellent value for the money.

Review 59：The room was available when they said it would be. Check-in was easy as they already had my reservation through Booking.com. Staff was very friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Restaurant offered a good variety and everything we had was very tasty. My wife and I stayed for two nights and we got two free breakfasts as part of the room cost. What a deal that was. It was late October and cold when we arrived and the heat in the room worked perfectly. We had no problems with the internet which enabled us to google locations we wanted to see. Very close to major shopping centres and 15 minutes to down-town. We loved it and recommend it to anyone.
