Reviews for Inn – Blue Mountain Resort

Review 1:1-Every year we also use the swimming pool. But unfortunately the hygiene is not appropriate for such place. People get in and out with their outside shoes!! 2-Consider to put special slippers for the pool please.3-Wi-fi system wasn't at reach even in the lobby!

Review 2:Over run with dogs. Very noisy at night. Hot tub area and change rooms very blah.over priced.

Review 3:Close to chairlifts and very comfortable beds. Nice shower.shuttle bus to village was handy.

Review 4:The Inn is a little bit away (maybe 8 minute walk) from the "Village". The hotel has a free shuttle that can take you to the village and back.

Review 5:Price was right!

Review 6:Walls very thin...could hear neighbors early morning as well as chatter being so close to the elevators

Review 7:Room was good size with very comfy pillow top mattresses

Review 8:You need reservations to eat in the restaurant for dinner.

Review 9:Even though there was no snow, there was lots to do in the hotel with the hot tubs, pool and sauna.

Review 10:Elevators were as slow as molasses. No free wifi have to pay for it if you want it in your room.

Review 11:Great location. Clean and updated rooms. Pool and hot tubs were well maintained. Staff were professinal and fast.

Review 12:The village is fun for the kids, they loved the fire pit and Starbucks. My husband and I are returning this coming Tuesday to Mosaic for a night. We're looking forward to being back.

Review 13:I take issue with the sauna's location up a flight of stairs away from the pool area. The stairs were a little disgusting. I did not sit in the hot tub for long due to the blast of cold air that was directed above me. I was a little uncomfortable swimming with the lack of privacy due to the glass in area. I find in most hotels that I have stayed in that the coffee machines provided for guests are not cleaned properly resulting in yellow water. I use the machine for hot water as I drink tea. Your hotel was no different.

Review 14:The staff was very knowledgeable about their job making my registration fast and efficient. The room was neat and tidy and the bed was very comfortable.

Review 15:The outside hot tub would not work, the jets did not work.

Review 16:The food was excellent at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The apple French toast for breakfast was excellent. I also like the pool and the hot tub.

Review 17:No free small breakfast. The person that takes towels out in the middle of the night in the large metal containers smashes them throughout the building and elevator while taking them outside. You can hear the slight bangs a little.

Review 18:Very nice well done clean rooms

Review 19:We went to turn heat on and the fire alarm went off. A funny smell came from the rad. We did alert the front desk on our discharge. Also the alarm clock wasn't working..

Review 20:We loved how close to the village the hotel was situated. It would take us 5-6 mins to walk or could use free shuttle. The restaurant food was very good and great service. I would highly recommend this hotel. We would stay here again.

Review 21:The pool area seemed old compared to our room. It was dark, but clean. The change rooms were a tad dingy and messy. An included breakfast, like those at some of the less expensive hotels in the area, would have been an advantage - it would have allowed me to get out to the activities faster. Breakfast in a reataurant is always so expensive.

Review 22:The room was lovely and the beds were fantastic! I appreciated getting the Active Pack deal for activities. Parking was easy and accessible.

Review 23:There was no breakfast included and no free Wifi for the expensive pricethat we paid for the room. The next day when we were leaving from thehotel, one of the elevators was out of order. It took us 30 minutes towait for another elevator, unbelievable. This has never happened to usbefore. That elevator should have been fixed asap!! There should be agift shop downstairs of the hotel. And a place where adults and childrencan have a drink or a little snack etc. There was no bathtub and no fanto circulate the air in the restroom. Not enough towels, shampoo orconditioner in the restroom, My daughters and I have long hair, and I amsure a lot of women with their daughters do as well. I didn't likethat we had to pay for the pool-"PLUNGE". That should be freeif you stay or stayed at the Blue Mountain Inn, for the day etc.

Review 24:The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The staff members werevery pleasant!! The location was great!! There was an indoor pool, apool table inside and a jacuzzi outside!!

Review 25:The inn has a total of 2 elevators and 5 floors. We stayed for 3 nights and one (out of 2) elevators did not work for our entire stay. The one elevator that did work was very slow. We, like many others usedo the stairs and it was very inconvenient.

Review 26:Room was comfortable and worth what was paid for.

Review 27:Blue Mountain Inn is located a 6min walking distance from the Village, where Restaurant&Bar, shops, events are. The resort also offers bus shuttle services that take you to the private beach and a few other locations in the Blue Mountain area.

Review 28:Elevator not working half the time, and broken tile. Bathroom small, too tight between shower door and toilet☺️Shower door not closing properly, loud noise when try to close it. All restaurants very expensive. Lousy. Breakfasts in The pottery, and Sunset Grill. All over priced.

Review 29:The beds were very comfortable. Shuttle bus was good. Front desk service very good.

Review 30:the beds were very uncomfortable. the bed sheets were were not changed from the previous guests.

Review 31:the location was not bad. the staff were helpful and polite.

Review 32:After being denied a room from another hotel that we had a confirmed booking with, this hotel and booking.com quickly resolved our accommodation issue. They honored the price of our original booking as well.this hotel was much nicer as well.

Review 33:Hot tubs while nicely situated were only warm, and only 1 or 2 jets in each tub would turn on - not very fair of inn to save money in expenses during non-peak visits.

Review 34:good discount price at last minute

Review 35:would be good if it's queen size bed instead of double bed no laundry facility in the building.

Review 36:shuttle services - they are there within 5 mins of call hot tub and pool room is spacious

Review 37:Room was a good size with extremely comfortable beds and pillows. Mini refrigerator in room and large shower. Ample free parking, offers express checkout. Walking distance to the Village! Offers free resort shuttle to the Village as well!

Review 38:One of few hotel rooms we have stayed at without complimentary wireless. Was told that free wireless available in fitness room, but it is not. Complimentary continental breakfast would be a nice touch.

Review 39:Room was was modern and it had everything we needed.

Review 40:I found the room very small and there was no bath. Also, it said that there was free wi-fi, but that is only in the lobby, not in the rooms.

Review 41:The village is beautiful with lots of options for dining. They had a salsa dancing and music weekend when we were there, which was fun.

Review 42:Expensive even with the deal from booking.com, shuttle service driver rude, bathroom tiny and the shower leaked, got a rash from the hot tub, village expensive, village service really poor.

Review 43:I enjoyed everything. To make it extra great I would have loved a tub in the bathroom instead of only shower.

Review 44:Very friendly staff, comfortable room, on-site restaurant was wonderful. Great location.

Review 45:We had the tiniest bathroom I've ever used, in a hotel.

Review 46:The rooms were great, and the beds - wonderful. The pool was average but the outdoor hot tubs were terrific.

Review 47:We happened to visit over March break (we are not students) and, while the security team was great about managing some of the rowdier guests, the hallways and some of the common areas were really dirty -- beer cans everywhere that people had left, candy wrappers, and the like. Also, we found the walls to be very thin -- we could hear entire conversations from the rooms adjacent and the bar downstairs. The hotel doesn't look like a hostel but it felt like one at times during our stay -- a shame because, otherwise, we really liked the place.

Review 48:The rooms were very comfortable and attractive, and the place had a lot of old fashioned ski resort charm. Staff was nice and the location was excellent.

Review 49:i left my phone charger at room # 514 on Saturday last week and left housekeeping a couple of messages wiht no response to date.

Review 50:i like everything else

Review 51:We ordered room service for breakfast, the waffles did not have the icing sugar or whipped cream on it. And the housekeeping staff did not remove the dirty tray, it sat in the room all night.

Review 52:The room was comfortable however the bathroom is extremely small. We had asked for a quiet room as we were there for a relaxing evening and we could hear people talking through the walls most of the evening. It was also disappointing to have to pay for WIFI in the room.

Review 53:Loved the location. Have been going to Blue Mountain for years but always stayed in the village with two other couples. We went to the Scandanavian spa and it was fantastic. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.

Review 54:This is the very first trip we had that we felt so relaxed. Going there from GTA is quite a view! The facility is not grand but it was clean. Staff were friendly. we had a dip in the pool and my son played billiards. Very near to The Village. Lots of activities. A very relaxing stay!

Review 55:No free wifi in the rooms. Only paid in the lobby. You have to pay extra. Limited availability room for pet owners. (Only 6).

Review 56:Excellent!! We stayed overnight at Blue Mountain Inn with family. We checked in and out with breeze. Nice hotel with amenities like pool hot tub, sauna and fitness. The room that we stayed in was clean and nice. Next time will request for a mountain view. Will come back to stay here again.

Review 57:The beds were very comfortable, the room was clean. We asked for rooms side by side for our kids and ourselves and you accommodated. Thank you, great stay will come again.

Review 58:Didn't like the carpet in the rooms- It would always get soaked and them you would step on it and get your socks wet as the carpet is dark in colour.

Review 59:Wish it was closer to the village, just because it was very cold, in the summer it would be fine. Or if the shuttle bus came to the front door of the hotel, so you could stay warm inside, instead of the little shuttle.

Review 60:How friendly the staff was at the front desks.

Review 61:It's the first time when we have a such bad experience in your hotel. We used to come there every year. Also when we got there they assigned us a room that was not ready and made us wait 3 hours in the mean while other comers were getting their rooms imediately.

Review 62:The pool, the restaurant, the spa, hot tubs

Review 63:The walls are quite thin. We stayed on the fifth floor and were roomed beside a loud group of girls who had people in and out their room until about 3 am. Other than that, it is a nice hotel with a prime location.

Review 64:The location was wonderful. walking distance from food, entertainment and the mountain. The rooms were clean and the staff were kind & helpful. The pool, outdoor hot tub and even the Pottery restaurant were a very nice added touch.

Review 65:Long check in line Wifi was extra charge A little of a walk to the village

Review 66:Rooms were nice and clean Quick delivery of cot Service was professional

Review 67:The ceiling vent in the pool area was very loud. Not all the outdoor hot tubs were working.

Review 68:Staff very friendly and hotel was very clean. The buffet breakfast was a good value for what was available.

Review 69:Just room availability. They fill up folks. Booking online it was hard to choose one bed as apposed to two.

Review 70:little off the beaten path, more low key. still having access to amazing restaurants, the pottery. and of course Jozos. had a perfect starry night for the hot tubs as well. Had to push the check out time back because those beds are like clouds!! Awesome weekend. thanks.

Review 71:I loved everything however, during the day when we had been away exploring our room was cleaned and they left the door open to our room the the entire day. We had taken all valuables with us, and he did an amazing job on the room. It was just disappointing to know anyone could have gone in our room for the entire day :(

Review 72:I loved the price! We scored this hotel off booking.com for $88.00 per night. The value was phenomenal for the location, the view and the comfort of the hotel. The Inn is beautiful, well kept and an awesome place for kids to play in the pool. The shuttle was always there to take us wherever we were going anytime.

Review 73:The outside of the building looks like it needs an update. But overall great stay!

Review 74:I didnt expect it to be this good. I have always stayed at the village and this time i decided to give it a try. I like to hottubs and the restaurant was excellent!

Review 75:internet was poor quality in room but got my money back for it the ridge runner waiting in line for an hour

Review 76:staff was very nice, they did everything we asked to make us more happy room was very nice and clean breakfast at Pottery restaurant was awesome buffet we really loved it

Review 77:I think it<s very expensive compare to the hotel facilities. I paid $207.00 just for one night . I know it's may be long weekend but there is no breakfast facilities and not even wifi at room. I may not stay there if i have to pay same price.

Review 78:Clean, Nice place, Nice staff. Nothing wrong with the hotel but very expensive

Review 79:The hotel was well situated. Everything we read in previous reviews were definately true. Very clean, comfortable and great value for the money. Would stay there again.

Review 80:Paying for WiFi, the 90's are over. Even the cheap motels in the area have free WiFi. You can't open the window! Breathing recycled air is a bad idea anywhere, especially at an area geared to active people. Stale air causes headaches, nausea, poor sleep. Sealed windows is a stupid idea.

Review 81:Beds, front desk staff

Review 82:Basement access to the pool is very confusing..too many doors..there should be signs leading to the pool and going back up to the elevators.

Review 83:Very friendly staff. Nice location. Just a walk to the main village. Very comfortable beds..nice open concept room..extra towels and bed sheets available at the floor..nice amenities..Thank you, Blue Mountain Inn..

Review 84:No free WiFi ,Billiards. Dirty sink after drain was unblocked. Room was not cleaned till 5:00 PM on the second day.

Review 85:Quiet Excellent beds and shower.

Review 86:There was nothing we really didn't like. Staff were nice and quite friendly for our Breakfast time the next morning and it was very hot and delicious and we especially liked the jams done in the jars.

Review 87:The beds were very nice and comfortable. It was our Anniversary and the staff were very thoughtful & sent a bottle of wine & chocolates to our room which we were both so surprised by we completely forgot a tip so gave extra to the room staff.

Review 88:We had a non operable door to the outside - some fresh air would have been nice. The buffet breakfast was very average so we went elsewhere for dinner which worked out fine anyhow. I kept being awoken by some strange mechanical noise. It wasn't noisy enough to complain about but I couldn't seem to tune it out.

Review 89:The staff was friendly and the private beach was a gem as we went on the labour day long weekend. Location was great - easy walk from the village.

Review 90:pool unavailable noise in room from other washrooms (toilet/shower)

Review 91:The Pottery Restaurant was excellent vs village outdoor hot tubs nice (clean/safe) walk to the village

Review 92:When we checked in to our room the desk fell apart and landed on my foot cutting it-staff were not concerned about me-just wanted to ensure it wasn't my fault. Air conditioner turned off in middle of night - poor sleep- recent renovations in rooms were poorly done-holes in trim/wall-won't stay there again.

Review 93:The golf at Monterra and downhill biking.

Review 94:We really appreciated the dog room location as it was on the second floor with a walkout from the sliding glass door to a set a stairs down to the grass area and parking lot.

Review 95:girl at reception on day of check in not friendly at all did not make us feel welcome pool was closed for maintenance gave us a room looking over the parking lot .for the price ws paid we were expexting something more decent will never stay here again

Review 96:no comment

Review 97:Our rooms did not get cleaned unless we remembered to put the card in the door. We didn't know we had to put the card in the door until our Room didn't get cleaned. The nice thing was though they had no problem coming to clean it after we realized it.

Review 98:I loved that it was close to the village and that it had a nice pool and more than one hot tub

Review 99:An outdoor pool would make the stay a little more enjoyable.

Review 100:Blue Mountain Inn offers the right balance of cost, accommodation and entertainment when we want to get away from the city for a day or two. It is close enough to the village to enjoy all that it offers, but at the same time it is far enough to provide the sometimes needed break from all the noise and activities taking place at the villa.

Review 101:The lounge was closed at 11:30 Sat. night we would have liked a night cap.

Review 102:Beds were very comfortable and coffee in room was good. Good location to the village. Would have liked to get in hot tubs but due to weather they were closed.

Review 103:Maybe we are spoiled with our cushy pillows at home but the pillows were very hard to sleep on although the bed was nice and soft and the linens were very clean.

Review 104:The hotel had clean, comfortable rooms. A problem with the air conditioning was promptly fixed. The shuttle was great since it allowed us the leave the car at the hotel. Access to the village was very good. Just a 5 minute walk.

Review 105:I was hoping some of the rooms would offer a kitchenette or stove top.

Review 106:The hotel provides a little of everything and tries to cater to everyone ie, with pets or without, indoor pool with deep end and outdoor hot tubs.. walking distance from the village.

Review 107:I was not impressed learning that you had to pay $10 for internet connection in your room for 24hours. That was surprising as it is free most places. You could only get it free in the lobby where there were only two small benches to sit on. Also it would be nice to have a simple breakfast included, rather than to have to pay more a package with that.

Review 108:The price was good for being that close to Blue Mountain. I liked that all activities at Blue Mountain were discounted by staying here. I also liked having a free shuttle to take you to Blue Mountain and back. That was handy.

Review 109:Dog woke us up barking, I love animals but maybe put them at one end of the hotel??

Review 110:In the village at a reasonible price, and only hotel in summer to allow you to stay 1 night, the rest have a 2 night min.

Review 111:I think the a/c was broken in our room because it was so hot during the night. The temp was set at 18 degrees but the room never went below 26 degrees! Uncomfortable for sleeping, but all in all we had a really nice stay.

Review 112:I liked that there is a shuttle that runs 24 hours that goes from the hotel to the village (even though it isn't that far). Nice shops and restaurants in the village and lots of stuff to do. Will return again.

Review 113:Not enough time, wish we could have stayed longer and plan to next time.

Review 114:The staff, location & room was awesome. Arrived early & was able to still check in.

Review 115:Weekend with my adult daughters , one visiting from Australia. Beds were so comfy, room was great and shuttle to village was quick. Would definitely stay again

Review 116:Expensive restaurant.

Review 117:Proximity to the mountain.

Review 118:Nothing.

Review 119:I like the outdoor hot tub, indoor hot tub, swimming pool and the dry sauna, especially not crowded.

Review 120:Loves everything. Just perfect

Review 121:location is good. you can walk to the Intrawest village which is very nice

Review 122:nothing.

Review 123:overall very good.

Review 124:I appreciated the complimentary extended checkout. I really liked the modern decor.

Review 125:Sinage of Seasons was dimmed barely noticeable .

Review 126:Location was amazing Room was great . Excelllent view !!

Review 127:The shuttle service to the village

Review 128:n/a

Review 129:value for my money

Review 130:Hot tube could have done better in water quality

Review 131:The hot tube and the room ciew

Review 132:My room didn't have a view on the mountain, although, I have requested a nice view & we were in off-season.

Review 133:Shuttle to the village 24/7
