Reviews for Hotel Esmeralda
Review 1:As the experience was overall very good, I don't want to say there was something I didn't like. However, as a note, other travellers may like to be aware that the telephones in the rooms do not dial out (at least, not directly). For me this was a bit unusual. But, again, the manager helped me out with this.
Review 2:The manager (Patrizio?) ensured my stay was enjoyable. The manager helped me to book a tour of Humberstone (with Billy Morales P., from Chile Responsible & Adventure Tourism), and also a paragliding ride. The manager also sorted out some confusion over my booking when I initially arrived, and was happy to allow me to make a late check-out (by ~4 hours) at no extra cost. While most staff apparently speak only Spanish, the manager speaks quite good English. Facilities are good and clean. Location is good. Breakfast is typical basic offering for most small–medium hotels in Chile (the Hotel does not serve lunch or dinner, but coffee is available around the clock).
Review 3:The staff that welcomed us was not really nice. Breakfat was really bad, the milk was expired and impossible to drink. We really did not undestand how it can be called an Hotel Boutique" as the place is really sad and badly decorated.
Review 4:We booked for 3 nights and staid only 1 as we did not like the place. They charged us only for that first night.
Review 5:Filtracion de ruido y conversaciones del personal
Review 6:Nada
