Review 1：Slight road sound and neighbour's music occasionally but not too audible, but this was a rare and minor quibble.
Review 2：Personal touch of the owners in the decor. Great disposition, friendliness and general niceness of the staff. Simple yet good rooms. Short distance c 5 mins walk to beach area. Nice green gardens around the bar & pool.
Review 3：Brazil is home to some very hungry Mosquitos. Don't forget repellant sprays or cream.... I don't in anyway blame the poussada for this ;-) it is quite splendid.
Review 4：Vilangelim is a great place to recharge the batteries. You can do loads or nothing and either is just fine. The owners are charming and the staff who speak almost no English are happy to 'converse' using Google translate.

Review 7：We had just been in another pousada in Salvador where the fruit, juices, pastries had a very full taste. In Vilangelim these were all a little dull or not as tasteful.
Review 8：We loved Imbassai. The hotel was very peacefull and we really enjoyed it. Great caipirinhas and bolinhos de peixe. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. The pousada was extremely well decorated with great attention to detail. Area around the swimming pool was very inviting and the amount of (beautiful) nature made it a special place.

Review 12：Everything, very quite, good decoration with high level, the high quality and taste of food during dinner or lunch. Good rooms in the middle of the local vegetation,air condition (palms tree, birds,etc)

Review 17：Nothing!! Pousada Vilangelim has got it "right." This is why I book my stay there whenever I am in Linha Verde. It is a desired destination for me, one of my favorite places to stay and relax anywhere in the world. They've got it right!!
Review 18：The layout of the bungalows amongst beautiful,lush,tropical gardens is amazing.The quite deference of the attentive staff assures that one recieves great service,and I cannot forget to mention the restuarant,one of the best on Linha Verde.The restaurant also has some deliciously prepared vegetarian options. Oh how I love the swimming pool ,designed in the shape of a fish, just perfect for delicious cocktails in the afternoon and evening. Actually I could continue,I simply love this Pousada,that's why I return again and again.
Review 19：Beautiful natural surroundings with a short walk to the gorgeous beach. The restaurant and bar was lovely and made it an easy decision where to eat and relax. Overall, we loved Imbassai and our stay at Vilangelim.
Review 20：We travelled a long long way to get here. We were looking for a taste of Brazil, not an anonymous luxury resort that could have been anywhere. We really got lucky. This is a most charming little place, impeccably maintained and friendly. The breakfast buffet was perfect, the pool and bar area is really sweet. The two owners will help you with absolutely anything and they both speak perfect English, which helps! The accommodation is good, beds were comfortable, nice little terrace with a hammock, all totally adequate. Our only minorissues would be that we had airconditioning problems the first night, which were immediately sorted out, and the wiring on the showers looked a bit unsafe. nevertheless we would definitely return and would highly recommend this poussada. The beach is quite outstanding and the beach bars alone are worth the flight from the UK!
