Reviews for Motel 6 - Regina

Review 1:I loved the NO CARPET in our room!!! It's easy to see that the floor was clean. We needed extra pillows and they appeared quite quickly even though we arrived close to midnight. Also, this was the only place I could find that would accommodate our family of 5 in one room.

Review 2:Bathtub plug didn't want to work proper in my room.

Review 3:Staff is excellent! It's all I need when I travel, I always stay here when I can when passing threw Regina.

Review 4:I stayed a Friday night and the hallway was quite loud even walking to my room. About 12 it died down then people came in about 3:45 and were yelling in the hallways. It's not the hotels fault that their guests are obnoxious to visitors who have to walked up at 6.

Review 5:I had a key card problem and the staff fixed it immediately!

Review 6:- had to put $200 damage deposit (I think it was too much for $100 room) - could hear people in the next room.

Review 7:Could access room from inside and outside room.

Review 8:It was the worst decorated and inconvenient room I have ever been in. TV at a bad angle from the bed. No chairs in the room. U had to sit on the end of the bed to watch the football game. No carpet anywhere. This was supposed to be an executive suite. Never again.

Review 9:The way the receptionist was quick to do what he could to get me the preferences I had requested with my online booking but were not available when we checked in. He offered an upgrade for the same cost

Review 10:the night clerk did not respond to an all night party on our floor resulting in a non sleeping night for us (sign in the elevator stated that quiet time is 10pm-7am also a dresser would be great for our clothes

Review 11:the room was very clean

Review 12:Our experience during the night was horrible. We received little sleep. The halls and guests were so disrespectful. The guests down the hall were trying to kick in their room door! Very scary night! Never stay at this hotel again.

Review 13:The room was very clean.

Review 14:Dirty bathroom very dirty floor smelled like smoke, bad old towels, dirty floor in entrance Noisey floors which made it louder from upstairs. Should have carpet at least around beds. Smokers at front entrance Not as nice as Grande Prairie motel 67 in Alberta

Review 15:Accepted my dog without extra fee

Review 16:When we wanted to check in, there was no one at the front desk and we had to wait roughly 10 minutes for any staff member to appear.

Review 17:When we told the staff that our sink/bathtub taps were broken, they gave us a new room right away.

Review 18:First problem was the air conditioner did not work in room 303. Staff moved us to 302. Air conditioning worked BUT at 2:36 AM there was a loud noise in the room almost sounding like a train. I investigated the sound and found that the TV was making the noise but no picture. Turned the TV on and off and it was quiet for the remainder of the night.

Review 19:Your service was great. Staff very accommodating

Review 20:Room quite bare. Could. Use a sitting area and more counter space. Fridge and microwave on top just sitting Kim the middle of the room! Need a picnic table and butt cans off to side of hotel for smokers. Not appealing that butts are everywhere and people having to stand out front.

Review 21:We were traveling across Canada and we really happy to find a room at motel 6 seeing as they were receiving evacuees from the areas affected by the forest fires. The staff were well prepared, friendly and the rooms were a good sized and clean. The only things missing which I have had at other motel 6 was a little continental breakfast.

Review 22:Location - on the highway, close to turnoff for Ring Road. Comfortable bed. Great price, comparatively. Excellent air conditioning. Just what we needed for an overnight highway stop.

Review 23:Quiet, on main highway by-pass, walk to chain restaurants and shopping mall stores. No carpeting great for those with allergies and with pets. 1st floor rooms have own interior and exterior entrances.

Review 24:No clutter of furniture or carpeting. I have allergies and like the bare floors. However late arrivals in the room above were obviously wearing noisy shoes back and forth which were an annoyance for a short while.

Review 25:I have a hypo allergenic dog for a reason. The pet room had dog hair all over the couch and on the hardwood floor that had not been swept or vacuumed properly. My allergies prevent me from having a good nights sleep. Also....lots of workman staying there ...fellow above was up at 4 am walking in his boots on the hardwood floor above for well over an hour. Seriously, $113 for the night...spend $30 more and stay at the Holiday Inn!

Review 26:It was basic. The bed was too hard. The shower was loud and you could hear everything through the walls and floor.

Review 27:The room was good enough for a 1 night stop over. If you'd need to stay longer I'd go somewhere else in terms of comfort.

Review 28:ice machine on 3rd floor did not work

Review 29:cleanliness and no charge for pets Would certainly recommend if breakfast is not needed. Our room did have a fridge and microwave so you can easily provide your own breakfast

Review 30:We stayed on the first floor and had someone in the rom above us making unbearable noise from about 5:30-6:30 am. But when we called the front desk to ask them to call that room. The noise died down right away! No idea if there is a way to make the rooms more sound proof, but that was our only irritation. And it was handled well by staff!!

Review 31:Spacious, modern roms. Great staff. Very clean!

Review 32:Was right next to main entrance on street level. Extremely noisy, people standing outside window very loud. Stay higher!!!

Review 33:Staff very friendly. Very helpful. Neat clean room. Everything needed for a overnight stay.

Review 34:Terrible parking situation - lot was completely full. There were a couple semis, one stuck in the mud and had been there "a while", parked sideways taking up many spots. Suggest issue free permits at check-in. Very slight smoky odour in hallways.

Review 35:Affordable, yet comfortable Rooms were fairly well furnished; nice laminate floors, although they may add a bit to noise from above. Staff on duty tried to be helpful with parking situation but not much she could do

Review 36:messy roomy ie. Dog hair on floor. Looked incomplete half renovated. Stayed in other motel 6's and they are much nicer then this one

Review 37:modern furnishings. Convenient location. Comfy beds. Good channel selection.

Review 38:There was no bedside lamp for reading. Only one light on the ceiling which was by the door so unless the curtain was open it was dark in the room.

Review 39:The little table and sitting area was handy for eating.

Review 40:We came in for a family fun run and knew we may not be able to be out on time. We slept great on comfortable beds and got up early, left to do our run and came back and showered before heading home! It was great :)

Review 41:Because there was another big event in Regina the price of the room was doubled from the normal rate. Room clean, unable to connect to wi-fi, had to pay for coffee in the lobby ( $0.50 but most places have it free in the room). Not worth the $ but needed a place to sleep.

Review 42:you don't quite get what you pay for. I knew what to expect from a Motel-6, but the price for the room was pretty high for the shape it was in. If this is a new property, then it was built run-down. Pigeons nesting in the soffit above the entrance, with large sections of the soffit missing. The bathroom looked like it was 10+ years old and no where new looking. The front desk staff needs some training on how to pay attention to customers instead of his friends that are hanging out in the lobby.

Review 43:The sleeping area of the room was clean and comfortable.

Review 44:Our reservations were for 2 double queen rooms, however when we checked in, they only had one room. Luckily I had the receipt to show that two rooms were booked.

Review 45:They did give us an upgraded room in lieu of the second room that had been reserved.

Review 46:Staff at the desk was a bit more interested in the soccer game on TV then checking me in. He was able to do it all with one eye on the TV.

Review 47:Very large room and a very comfortable bed. Nicely decorated.

Review 48:its a no frills place ,but it was clean and comfortable.

Review 49:Very nice helpful staff

Review 50:Because it was Agribition week, they tried to raise the rates.

Review 51:No carpet in the rooms.

Review 53:Rooms have been renovated & are very clean. Easy access off the highway.

Review 54:Everything

Review 55:I could not adjust the shower temperature. I could only turn it on or off. The shower was on the cold side.

Review 56:Price was reasonable and didn't need a credit card

Review 57:No breakfast, ground floor room was cold and the floor deteriating - Minimal blankets although bed and pilows were comfortable.
