Review 2：Hotel ambiance is great upon entering with fresh apples at the desk. Prompt and friendly greeting upon check in. The Sunday brunch was amazing. Nothing was skimped on or spared. The brunch choices were the finest I have ever seen. I have travelled the world and this Hotel is truly a gem!

Review 12：Wandered around looking for someone to check me in. stairwell has a distinct Back Alley odor to it. For the size of room, the TV was miniature, Parking spaces are small and parking signs are the same color, shape and font as neighboring mall, both threaten towing if you end up in the wrong one.

Review 14：When I telephoned ahead from Saskatoon front desk man was helpful in sorting out possible cancellation without penalty due to mild stomach flu. As it turned out we were able to travel and stay at the hotel as planned. The point is I appreciated his statement that the hotel would not charge a cancellation fee if I had to cancel on short notice. Further, when we found we were short one tooth brush he provided one from the front desk. Many thanks to him on both counts. The apples at the front desk were a very nice touch.

Review 16：Friendly staff and clean room. Only stayed one night in between visiting National Parks. Good food in the lounge, disappointed with wine selection, BUT Chicago Blackhawks won game!!

Review 17：Insufficient instructions re air conditioning. Thermostat is on the wall near the bathroom. Don't touch the air conditioner controls near the window. Huge noise at night as it recycled. Room was small and dark., overlooking Albert St. so could not draw the drapes to get light from the window. One light near the beds, one desk light and one light as you enter the room. Bath had no soap dish or ledge making showering difficult. Only one safety bar. Expected a bigger table not a small desk. (See the ad in the Regina Tourist booklet) No instructions re the remote control for the TV. We took our own pillows. Not everyone likes such massive pillows. Had to pull out the fridge to lower the control. Everything froze solid until that was done. Insufficient desk staff. Staff at check out charged wrong amount and asked for signature without explanation ($1200 plus, instead of $347 plus tax per night). Fortunately I queried it. Took a long time to recalculate and issue refund. Where was the free newspaper? Provided our own breakfast because last time hotel unable to provide dietary requirements (lactose free).

Review 18：Location for us was good. We had stayed there before Wifi in the room. Did provide shampoo, conditioner hairdryer. etc. Good closet space, but drawers stuffed with blankets. Staff did provide advice when asked about fridge, TV and air conditioner

Review 27：Individual orders at the hotel’s restaurant, Steels, are well-prepared, but at one buffet we attended with members of our family, and for which we had reservations, there was insufficient food, and what there was was terrible. The catering department definitely needs work!

Review 28：The Executive Royal, formerly West Harvest Inn, remains one of my favourite Regina hotels after numerous stays there. Two minor beefs from my most recent stay: first, the door to my suite didn’t open easily with the security card; and second, the bathroom sink plug was not working when we arrived. It was subsequently fixed, The door was not.

Review 29：The front desk attendant when we arrived was pleasant but didn't communicate well to us. I wasn't sure if I was at the correct hotel for a moment. The attendants the following morning seemed fine.
