Review 1：I didn't mind the 3 storey narrow staircase climb, the Mrs squeaked a bit, saying good job didn't bring her mother - might be wise to say there's a climb involved
Review 2：We pitched up early - no problem -very accommodating .Appartment was well equipped and appointed - superb value for a town centre location. Fantastic town centre. Public parking is 1 euro an hour but only 9 to 5 . We found a spot in view.
Review 3：Just above a restaurant which stays open late and which hood over their grill makes a hell of a lot of noise until after midnight. Obviously there is the noise of cleaning up when they close. Next door is a building site where works start very, very early in the morning. The sheets on the bed had stains....

Review 5：The top appartment is up three flights of very steep narrow stairs. Concerned about what would happen if a fire broke out. The kitchen lacked much basic equipment - eg a coffee machine but only one cup. Could be much better with a little maintenance.

Review 7：A few extra items in the kitchen would have been good.There was no toaster, egg lifter, sharp knives etc and there was no detergent, cloths or tea towels provided. We were, however given the choice of a better kitchen in another apartment but opted for this one as it had a bigger, newly renovated shower. There is a steep staircase that wasnt a problem for us as the owner carried up one of our suitcases. Much appreciated!
Review 8：We were warmly greeting with a complimentary drink after coming off the train in the pouring rain. It was early for our check in but it was no problem. We enjoyed chatting to the owner who ran the restaurant downstairs. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the Tunisian restaurant with another complimentary drink! Everytime we met the owner and his brother as we were coming and going we were always warmly greeted and he made a special effort to see us and bid us farewell as we left.
Review 9：Had to park motorbike on the street outside-now pedestrian and undergoing works. Stairs long and very steep so issue if one has much luggage or if infirm etc

Review 13：No air conditioning, no air fan. Had to open windows for air. There was a heat wave during our stay so we had no choice but to open all windows for air. But by doing so mosquitoes came into the apartment and we all ended up with multiple bites thoughout our stay.
Review 14：Central to all amenities. Walking distance to Tournai's city centre. Very friendly staff. Tunisian restaurant at the bottom of the apartment units, owned by rental owner, also very good.
Review 15：Should have mentioned 3 flights of steep stairs. Lack of kitchen equipment. No back to cupboard meant contents would fall through from the mezzanine to kitchen!

Review 23：The owner was very friendly and helpful. He runs a restaurant on the ground floor N.B.the flat is on the 3rd floor up very narrow and steep stairs so no good for anybody disabled or even slightly infirm. The flat is modern and clean and perfect for even a few days' stay.

Review 30：The welcome was very friendly, the studio is owned by the people who run the Tunisian restaurant downstairs and on arrival they gave us drinks and some freshly prepared mezze whilst they took our bags upstairs. The studio is extremely well appointed and very clean, and the location is right in the middle of Tournai.
Review 31：The host was excellent and showed us round what was a surprisingly spacious apartment. We were only there for one night so didn't get a chance to use the huge jacuzzi! It is very central only 3 mins from the Grand Place. Highly recommended.
Review 32：Could have swept the floor a little better. The entrance is a little hard to find as it is not obvious. It is next to/at the restaurant with aqua blue colouring. Maybe a photo of the entrance could be added to the extensive collection to help out guests.
Review 33：The staff are super friendly, helpful and give a very generous welcome. The restaurant attached has fantastic food with generous portions, one between 2 seems plenty! Very close to the centre of town and walking distance from the the station. We had the top (3rd floor) apartment and our bags were carried up for us. The room was large and the bed on the mezzanine.
Review 34：The apartments are above a (delicious) restaurant. The owner was extremely welcoming, offered us drinks, and took us up to give us a tour of the apartment. They're spacious, modern, and comfortable. You can't beat the price for the quality, and location in the city. I stayed in two of the three apartments, each was styled differently, and both had their charms. I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Tournai. I can't recommend it enough.

Review 59：The place is a bit odd. Very narrow stairs lead to the apartment above a restaurant. Construction is unfinished in the rooms. Didn't like the bedding - fitted sheet was like terry cloth. Didn't use the spa in the room.

Review 62：This appartment (I had the one on the 1st floor without the spa) was furnished and equipped to a very high standard including a widescreen TV, and the bathroom which had an excellent shower! Very good complimentary refreshments. Very helpful and welcoming staff. The flat is a few minutes walk from the main square, within reach of a nice park and within easy reach of the train station.

A perfect pied a terre - you'll need to be good at climbing stairs, but the view from the bedroom is easily worth it, and good practice for the Belfry! Apartment scrupulously clean with coffee machine, wi-fi, bluetooth music player. Wish it could have been for more than one night!
