Review 1：i chose this location because it sad it had parking, when i arrived, i was told the facilities only had a two car parking and it was taken ???!!! not very good for foreigners, very misleading. otherwise, since i didn't spend much time there, only to sleep, id say it was ok. I felt like I was at a college dorm, but its ok i guess. lol

Review 2：The staff member was overlay welcoming and very helpful. The rooms where perfectly clean, great shower too. The biggest tick for me was the location to the train station and is was central to everything I needed.

Review 3：Narrow balcony; enough to stand, but not really "safe". Wiring seemed a little faulty, my cell phone charger popped.

Review 5：I didnt like that all 3 days of my stay, there was no receptionar there. I came, they charge me in front. I had to pay immediately. And after that, no one was at reception, for whole 3 days. Even when I left, i just leave my key at reception, becoue no one was there.Also no staff durring breakfast.It was like ghost hotel. Very strange.

Review 19：There was too much noise from the Pub downstairs (our rooms were close to the corner where the Pub was located) as well as from the noise. As the windows had to be left open, the noise carried. There was no air-conditioning despite the warm weather.

Review 21：The only thing I didn't like was I hung the 'Do Not Disturb'sign on the door when I went for breakfast on the 1st day but thecleaner/manager went in anyway and cleaned the room. Other than thatI was happy with the hotel.

Review 22：I was given room 105 which was a smallish double with the window lookinginto an enclosed fire escape (no natural sunlight)... I asked for achange and was given room 102 which is a corner twin room (but the bedscan move if you need a double), this room was much bigger, the hairdryerdidn't work but they said they'll fix it. If I return to thishotel I'll ask for room 102.Breakfast: the only hot food was scrambled eggs and bacon, with a selection of cold meats, bread, fruit, cereal and pastries. It may be possible to have other hot food cooked to order but I didn't ask, what was available was fine for me. It's location is about 100m from the railway station, 20m from the main shopping center, it's really easy to find if you've never been there before.

Review 35：Nothing "artistic" about this hotel unless you count the cigarette burnsin the sheets or the stains on the worn carpeting. The conditions wereunacceptable and the management did not seem to care. The internet neverworked. The mini fridge was broken. The elevator was stuck all the time.And the room never got cleaned! The location is good but right on themain street from the train station and noisy. For 65 euro a night youcan do much better in Genk!

Review 39：The first room overlooked the bars and road so could be noisey but thebar noise usually ceased by about 11pm. The second time I stayed Irequested a quieter room and had one at the rear of the hotel lookingtowards the church. This room was lovely and quiet.

Review 40：Convenient location just across the road from Genk Railway Station andalso at the heart of the town. The staff were very friendly. The rooms,having stayed twice within ten days, were adequate with clean bathroomsetc. I was having surgery at a well known local private clinic so wanteda hotel close to the clinic, town and station - this hotel is in anexcellent location for all three but you must weigh up convenienceagainst a busy town location. I would be happy to stay at the hotelagain with no worries.

Review 41：Breakfast was €10 extra and although an the extensive buffet includedbacon, eggs, croissants, cheeses, meats yoghurts etc., in future I woulddo 'pay as you go' in the bar which opened for breakfast and served farbetter coffee than the coffee machine in the hotel's breakfast room.Otherwise no complaints.
