Reviews for Hotel Le Limbourg

Review 1:No WiFi in hotel room. You need to go downstairs and sit in the restaurant for this.

Review 2:Really friendly staff, large room, quiet despite being in the very centre of Rochefort (Belgium). Bath room newly renovated. Large bed. Several Pubs and bars nearby, as well as an ice-cream shop. Breakfast not included in price but very tasty, wholesome and worth the price. Recommended.

Review 3:Arriving on a busy wet afternoon finding somewhere to park just to check in was difficult. The rustic decor of the bathroom was interesting but the creaky door was annoying. Wifi was very poor in the room

Review 4:Owner went out of his way to make our stay pleasurable. Parking is limited but when we found our way to it the owner was there to guide us in. Dinner was excellent and again extra effort was made to meet our requests

Review 5:The wifi was virtually nonexistent. Breakfast was expensive and not many options which seemed strange considering the size of their restaurant. The front desk staff was not very warm and didn't seem eager to make us feel welcome. This was not what we have experienced in other areas of Belgium we have visited.

Review 6:The room and bathroom were very clean. The location was in the center of town. The restaurant appeared nice.

Review 7:our room (# 5) is at the street side so you have some noice from the street but not disturbing (staid there on a saturday night).

Review 8:we had the 3 bed room (# 5) for the 2 of us. the room was large and the bath room was just renovated and looked very good, a pity that the water pressure was a bit low. the quality of the (box spring) beds was excellent. we had dinner in the restaurant which was very good as well. found the wine list a bit expensive so drank the house wine which tasted well.

Review 9:Wi-Fi connection in our room was quite weak.

Review 10:Polite staff, very clean and spacious room, good location, graceful furniture, original (very nice!) bathroom.

Review 11:hotel owner was very unfriendly. not approachable. as he owns the restaurant below, he seems keen on NOT providing any form of beverage - like tea/ coffee making facilities, NOT even boiled water, when asked. the wifi signal was non-existent, unlike what the hotel claimed. the location was bad - it was above his restaurant/ pub, so at night, it was noisy till wee hours. in summer, no aircon and not even a fan no hairdryer - room basically very sparse. really did not have an enjoyable experience at all. and this really paled in comparison to the other hotels i've stayed in of similar descriptions and pricing.

Review 12:nothing

Review 13:Only part of the personel know English and Dutch and the menu in the restaurant is only in French

Review 14:It's a really nice and cozy, suitable for rest.

Review 15:Nothing

Review 16:Great location and very comfortable

Review 17:Our room was large, with a very modern shower and it was very comfortable.. The restaurant is excellent also.

Review 18:No bin in the room and on day of arrival there were no staff on site to help with that.

Review 19:Location in the town was very central and room was very clean if basic.

Review 20:The wi-fi was not available in all areas of the hotel as promised. Our children found this a major problem!

Review 21:As it was Sunday there was free parking outside the hotel. The hotel is well positioned in the town and has a good restaurant which was quite busy. The rooms were a good size and comfortable. The owner was efficient although not particularly friendly.

Review 22:Street parking only (ridiculous fee, though), breakfast a bit expensive for what you get, warm and noisy room.

Review 23:The hotel is well located and the staff is kind, although English is not spoken.

Review 24:No dedicated parking, though convenient parking on road, free overnight.

Review 25:Convenient location for our journey. Very helpful manager. Very comfortable room, with some interesting design features. Excellent quality breakfast.

Review 26:Pillows are terrible (most of european hotels have terrible pillows) Thebeds are not comfortable, they have some kind of mattress pad that makeyou feel like you are sinking. THat would be my only gripe.

Review 27:Staff was great, one guy spoke Spanish which was helpful. Theirrestaurant was very popular. Location amazing. Water Pressure wasgreat. Clean.

Review 28:It is more like a rental room rather than a hotel. There is no hotel reception other than a cashier area for the restaurant on the ground floor, the door key is just a regular room key, and there are no fridge, hair dryer etc. in the room. During the night the room is not very dark because the curtain does not have black lining. WIFI (free) can only be used on the groud floor (not in your room). Restaurant below can be somewhat noisy in the evening. Still, it is a good value for money if you are aware of these. We found everything else quite confortable.

Review 29:It is a very good value for money, considering the proximity to Grottes de Han. Conveniently located in the middle of Rochefort town. Shower facility was almost brand-new. Most of the staff were helpful and spoke English.

Review 30:Tv didn't work too well.

Review 31:Good location in Rochefort. Easy access to the cave, information officeand the bus stops to and from the train station in Jemelle. Room wascomfy and big.

Review 32:I was really satisfied with the service at the Hotel Limbourg. The staff was friendly, the rooms spacious and clean and the food was good too.

Review 33:Location Friendliness of the staff Free WiFi Excellent bathroom Price

Review 34:No parking on site.

Review 35:Friendly staff and excellent Rochefort beers alongside Ardennes pate.

Review 36:There is no pool on-site as advertised. Road noise was all night.

Review 37:Very friendly staff, excellent dinner, good value, clean and spacious room.

Review 38:Comfortable bed, good food, nice staff.
