Review 1：WiFi not great so had to use the one in the reception which had a limit of 15 minutes on it.

Review 2：Good location in close proximity to metro, buses, attractions, shops. There were glitches, namely the lift wasn't working to our floor and a smell emitting from the basin. They did sort it out which was good. Good breakfast.

Review 3：The hotel is in an area of town that attracts a lot of homeless people. While it was easy to grab a taxi and get to where we wanted to go, some of our party were concerned about walking in the area.

Review 12：I arrived at 5 a.m. and asked to allow me to check out at 5 p.m. No problems, the issue was resolved immediately.

Review 13：Good location. Helpful and polite stuff. Spaceful room with view on Gloria marina bay. Big bathroom with a huge shower booth. Breakfast was OK. Wifi was working fine. Hotel is situated 5 minute walk to Gloria metro station on one side, and 5 minute walk to Lapa nightlife area on other side. Much better than overpriced hotels in Copacabana and Ipanema area. You can take a Metro and be on the beach in 10 min. Also close to Santos Dumont airport. Price was bargain stayed for just 200 BRL/night in low season.

Review 16：The gym was a bit shonky - good equipment, but looked like it was never used, no water, no pool and I had to get reception to unlock it at 8am.

Review 17：Reception staff were extremely helpful in arranging a tour for us and organizing an inexpensive taxi to the airport at 3am. Initially we thought the area was unsafe ( prostitutes outside hotel when we arrived) but then our tour guide assured us the Gloria and Lapa areas were the safe, interesting night spots and we found this to be true.

Review 18：the particular area is close to Lapa, which is good for younger people but be careful with your belongings, especially if you are travelling alone. Right outside is a bit of a red-light scene at night, but they stay on the opposite side of the road, so not a major problem if you are not trying to make contact.

Review 19：close to Metro, and walking distance to some lesser known beaches. good breakfast. spacious room. free wifi, but for acceptable speed stay in the lobby. banks with cashpoints nearby. there is an oldfashioned open air market on Sunday, quite clearly not aimed at tourists but for the locals, with all manner of fruit veg meat spices cooking utensils etc.

Review 20：The wifi only worked in the main entrance. As soon as i walked into the bathroom or went to the bed, the wifi didnt work.

We lived in 8th floor and there was some noise from the street but comfortable bed made us to sleep well. 24H reception was very helpful and spoke very good English. Price 225 Reals for double room was OK for the quality, comparing to other hotels in the area.

Review 34：Kitsch interior still reminds the Motel it was some time ago. Some rooms are noisy, mainly the ones in front. They deserve antinoise windows. Cleaning sometimes is not so good. The bathroom doesn't have hangers for clothes and towels or enough shelves to keep our toothpastes, cosmetics, etc or any place to sit though it has a lot of space for it.

Review 35：location is great, close to the metro station, which enables to go either downtown, where the cultural centers are, and to Copacabana and Ipanema. Rooms and bathroom are very good, have a small living room besides the bedroom and some of them have a view (the ones at the front, more expensive, or the regular ones that finish in 08, beginning from 7th floor: 708, 808, 908...). Staff is very kind.

Review 36：Clean hotel in what looks like a more rugged neighborhood of Rio. The rooms with a view really do have a great view over Guanabara bay and over the funambolic Santos Dumont airport. Didn't catch any noise from the planes going in or out. Though after 8pm the street populates with "street workers", I had no problems walking around. Lapa with all its bars and nightlife is very close by. Also within walking distance is Rua do Catete which offers quieter restaurants as well as a couple of more upmarket ones.

The location was incredible, not far from beaches but being in a less tourist occupied area. You felt like you were in the heart of everything! Our hotel room was so comfortable, great bathroom, very comfortable bed, its own sitting room with beautiful view of Flamengo Bay. All this was for a reasonable price much less than Copacabana. I would definitely go back since they made us feel like family even though it was a modern hotel.
