Review 1：The noise of the air-conditioning. A construction site close by.
Review 2：Safe zone.Nice staff. Belmonde bar close by. Good value for money (the room was booked on the New Years Eve period, prices in Rio are very expensive). Close to Botafogo (lots of bars), not far from Copacabana (bus or taxi) and not far from center (Lapa)

Review 4：Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were excellent and there was something different every morning. In fact, when I asked for some mate tea to drink someone went out to the supermarket to buy some for me - that's what I call service. Very convenient for the metro station, the buses, and the beaches. The room was bright and comfortable.
Review 5：Cars honking and people yelling on the narrow street are annoying. They should consider soundproof windows for the rooms facing the street.

Review 9：Perfect location of the hotel, in the calm nice area, close to the park and beach. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast. The only problem that the restaurant didn't always work and didn't accept cards. Apart from that, no complaints at all, and I'd definitely recommend it.

Review 14：Air-conditioning is little bit loud, it smells quite strong of humidity in the elevator (needs restauration) as well less in the room. No view at all from the room outside: from our room to the wall of another building, other rooms shows to a loud "side street".
Review 15：Staff is very friendly, rooms are clean (however check negatives), breakfast is ok, restaurant ist opened until late in the evening, WLAN works acceptable in the rooms. Other restaurants and super-markets 2min walk, subway 10min walk (Copacabana 2 stations). All in all, considering the negatives, we can recommend the hotel as an alternative with moderate prices compared to the beach hotels (considering prices during World Cup).
Review 16：I stayed 5 says our sheets and blankets were never washed . I cane back home with so many rashers and bed bug bites . Really disappointed ! staff don't speak English and they have no customer service what so ever .
