Review 1：The bathroom was a camper style one where the entire bathroom was a shower, which made things wet, obviously, but it worked.

Review 2：The hostess was so friendly and helpful. She built a fire in the common room to enjoy when we returned for the night. So cozy!

Review 3：Very uncomfortable small beds for one person with small pillows. Breakfast could be improved.

Quirky building and layout with a basement kitchen/ breakfast room - but a large, comfortable and clean bedroom with A/C (needed in July!) and an up-to-the-minute bathroom. Do sign up for the EGH excursion around local attractions, as well as relaxing in the elegant centre of Ruse.

Review 10：The lodging and rooms are small, the TV is old and may be run on tubes. The breakfast was similar to going to a quick stop and getting items off the shelf. Toilet smell through out the room. We paid for three nights up front but left after one night stay.

Review 18：-We didn't received the room we booked on Raiko Daskalov nr. 34 where The Guest House is situated, but in a different building across the street, Raiko Daskalov nr.25 rated 1 star. The price we paid was the same as for 3 stars, although the receptionist presented the apartment at nr. 25 as a favour. -The apartment was roomy but dusty and the smell inside was awful. -The bathroom was extremely small (1m X 1m); When we asked for another apartment they told us they didn't have any available rooms. -The fridge in the kitchen was making a terrible noise at night and the quality of sleep was affected. -At breakfast we found on the table a carton of yoghurt which was expired.

Review 65：We stayed at the apartment on the other side of the street. While being really clean and warm, the furniture is rather old. We were 4 and the one couple had to sleep on a very, very abused couch. The breakfast is good in variety, but the cheese, ham and juice are bought from the discounter around the corner. Overall it`s OK, but you won`t bring any good memories home for Bulgarian food :)

Review 66：The location is very convenient, if this is your first time in Rouse. Very close to practically everything in the city. The rooms are very clean, the facilities are adequate. And the Internet is blasting fast!

Room was very clean (you know it is very clean when you pull the furniture and there's no dust behind it! ;-) Breakfast was self-serve, but very generous (with fruits and eggs, good coffee, etc.). However it is the courtesy and service of the owner that was truly exceptional. Even got a ride from her son to a village nearby that I wanted to visit, as well as back to the bus station. Exceptional value for the money!

Review 74：Our choice for staying here was based on the positive reviews that weread on booking.com. After staying there, we honestly believe that mostof the positive reviews are simply fakes - filled in by the owner. Therooms need renovations, the walls in our room were dirty, the door wasmade of plywood and looked shabby, the windows were old and there wasnoise coming from the street. The shared bathroom wasn't veryconvenient. Overall there was a gloomy atmosphere. Breakfast. Thekitchen is small, in the basement, it has no windows, there was only onesmall table for maximum 4 people. The food was terrible: the only ediblefood were tomatoes and cucumbers, and the yoghourt that was sealed. Thecheese and ham were of very poor quality.

We especially liked being provided with a choice of breakfast foods in the kitchen refrigerator which we could access every morning and prepare ourselves and take to the terrace at the front of the building. We could also prepare dinner in the kitchen if we wished. The owner, Veselka ( known as Vasi ) was particularly kind and helpful. She speaks very good English so we were able to have some good conversations. We highly recommend this accommodation.

Review 78：The actual rooms were nothing like the pictures, they need repairing,the weren't heated in advance. The place needs much moremaintenance. Also, we weren't offered the room we opted for.

I filled in this questionnaire before I found out if they have a washing machine which if the do would make the facilities excellent instead of just good. I am sure that I will be able to use their private machine if they don't have one for the guests because the staff/owner is really friendly and helpful and very hospitable. They have a good dining area and a good kitchen with a good range of tea's and coffee's and cook ware, a nice selection of breakfast choices ect. They do have a couch area and several computers for the guests use and the rooms have tv and wifi but maybe they could do with a guest living room for anyone who is staying for more that a few days. All in all a wonderful place ran by wonderful people. It was a pleasure staying here.
