Review 1：Very noisy at night, the road just behind the hotel as a lot of traffic, plus noise of all the bars around Breakfast is not very average Reception demands to keep the passports of every guests during all their stay (they are afraid you won't pay) This hotel was built in the 60's, maybe even earlier? and they did not change anything since then: stains on the carpet, very old bed covers, everything is too aged, questionable cleanliness

Review 3：The bath was smelly and there is no noise isolation so I could hear the traffic, the concerts of the square in front and the discos from the beach. And it is Art Communist, not Deco.

Review 5：The hotel is in an excellent location, close to all amenities. The beach is very clean. Lots of bars on the sea front. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Review 8：We found the reception staff somewhat unwelcoming and unhelpful. Whilst we wouldn't expect staff to have a superb command of English, we might have been led to expect better.

Review 9：This hotel enjoys a great city centre location. It is clean and comfortable, and furniture, fittings and decor are in good order and functioning

Review 10：Initially I had reserved one night. I called and asked to extend the reservation with one more night. The receptionist said that they will call me even though I clearly specified I'm calling from my Us number. I called the next day and the same girl told me she didn't call because it was an international number. We worked it out but overall the personal is confused. Also, the hotel is not an Art Deco. They are using the name in order to do the minimum amount of renovations since the communist time.

Review 11：The hotel is located at the entrance of the Sea garden which is perfect. The breakfast and WiFi are excellent

Review 12：A new bar on the other side of the pedestrian street plays music during half the night, can be bothersome to some. Some flashes from a advertising board can be annoying during night. The bed is not very soft.

Review 13：Best location. Very professional staff, front desk and housekeeping. Never any problems. Stayed 18 days.

Review 14：The WiFi was not working everywhere, it forced us to stay still in the same spot for ages just to be able to access the internet. Breakfast was ok but limited to a number of options: it'd be better to have a buffet where anyone can choose what they feel like having at that morning and so the poor waitresses don't have to stress out and run like crazy to serve everybody. The room was clean, however we had one day a cockroach's visit. But overall we had a great stay and we will surely come back to Odessos like we do almost every day

Review 19：I am impressed by the kindness and good service! The hotel needs freshening up in terms of furniture but other than that you cannot ask for more from a hotel. Brilliant area. The people were very nice and helpful. We were with our daughter (6month old) and the receptionist took care of the pram. They helped us with bags and were friendly.

Review 21：At check in the receptionist (Didi) tried to keep our US passports, tellings us to go ahead upstairs to leave our bags. When we stayed at the desk, she looked at us all surprised when we said we will wait to get our passports back, then sighed all annoyed while she entered our info. That colored our experience for the rest of the stay. Also the room stank like cigarettes. There is no way this is a 3 star hotel like Booking.com has it rated. It's more like a cheap motel like experience.

Review 33：Perfect location. Five minutes walk to sea and central for shopping, eating out, sea garden. Comfortable room, clean bathroom, dear little balcony from which to watch the promenade below. Good value restaurant with live music and delicious local meals. Thank goodness for the secure parking as city traffic very busy.

Review 34：At the time of our stay there was a live band playing at the entrance to the Sea Garden and unfortunately the balcony and window were metal framed meaning that our room floor vibrated so much from the bands base that even our light fittings were vibrating, the noise in the room was truly horrendous, luckily the band packed in at 2200hrs and the room stopped jumping! This hotel, although comfortable could do with a general refurbishment

Review 35：This hotel is ideally located at the entrance to the beautiful sea gardens in Varna and provides a great base in the city. Reception staff were efficient and friendly and could not do enough to help. We booked a room at the front with a balcony view to the sea gardens, the room itself was comfortable enough but decor and soft furnishings were very dated. Bathtub was on the small size but facilities although dated were clean and all in working order. Breakfast was included in the room rate and we took ours in the cafe overlooking the boulevard, choices were varied and food and service were very good. This hotel has an excellent restaurant and I would recommend having a meal there and it was very good value for money.

Review 68：There is a secured parking space for around 6 EUR/day next to the hotel. So you can go there by car, even the hotel is located in the middle of the center where parking space is very rare. The atmosphere was very nice. It's a good old hotel from the communistic era. No new designer furniture. If you look for some authentic hotel, this one is one of the best. The breakfast was simple but well organized. You will get a voucher at the reception desk. The breakfast you'll have inside the cafe, where you can choose around 10 different breakfasts from the menu. The hotel is very good located, it takes approx. a 5 minutes walk to the beach and also approx. 5 minutes to the shopping streets.
