Review 1：some rooms are small and have poor views - no option to use a fan instead of air conditioning - bathroom tiles need ugrading breakfast could be more varied probably not great value for money
Review 2：Beautiful surroundings in the hotel - great place to relax - and nice pool
Review 3：Rooms rather ugly decorated. Some rooms much better located than others - our had no balcony and was on the 1st floor, requiring us to carry heavy luggage on several staircases.
Review 4：Clean place with nice swimming pool. Good breakfasts. Some front desk personnel speak a little bit of English (not very common in Brazil). Quite good location, although a bit outside Olinda old city quarter.
Review 5：The breakfast wasn't so good. charges for laundry are very high ( Almost $5.50 for each shirt) they are charging 10% extra service charges which is normally not charged in any Hotel in Brazil. Internet connection is very bad in rooms.

Review 8：Good value for New Years', though a bit far from Carneiros, soyou'll have to rent a car or go by bus. But the beach in which it islocated is as beautiful as you can get.

Bijvoorbeeld: Om bepaalde locaties te bereiken, probeert het ene personeelslid je een dure taxirit te verkopen, terwijl de ander je een goedkoper alternatief met de bus kan adviseren. Tevens spreekt het personeel geen Engels/Spaans, terwijl zij dit wel vermelden op hun website. De kamers zijn te klein en in de openbare ruimtes van de pousada bevonden zich soms kakkerlakken. Al met al een redelijk hotel, maar men moet de details met betrekking tot het comfort, de service en hygiëne niet uit het oog verliezen.
Review 10：De pousada is ideaal gelegen om Olinda te verkennen. Het bevindt zich niet in het drukke centrum, maar de bezienswaardigheden van Olinda liggen op loopafstand. Bovendien is de omgeving van de pousada relatief veilig.
Review 11：The bathroom was very old and way too small. And the worst was the rommwas infested with mosquitos because the bathroom window did not have aproper anti-mosquito net.Expensive for its price, as most hotels in Brazil!!

There's a pretty big pool and a terrace with hammocks. Rooms are ok and AC was working without problems; breakfast was also good. One of the guys on the reception spoke English

Review 15：I originally looked for accommodation that was good on location andprice and did not expect Hotel Pousada Sao Francisco to be of such agood standard - I was pleasantly surprised at the standard of serviceand the great location. The grounds were wonderful - lovely gardens,great pool and the wonderful town of Olinda just around the corner,while the sea was just across the road - it couldn´t have been better!
Review 16：Incredibly run down hotel. Uncomfortable sagging bed, with a thin mattress. Mosquito infested room and fly infested dining area. Dangerous shower with rickety glass door and bare electricity wires connected to the shower head! Every few minutes the plastic hose connected to the shower head came off and sprayed everywhere including the bare wires entering the electricity socket adjacent. I became fearful of using the shower. One of the most depressing hotel experiences we have ever had.

Review 18：Most of all is the location. The hotel is at the entrance of Old Olindaand very near of all places in Old Olinda, You can walk to all touristicplaces. Besides this, is the best value for my money. Breakfast is verygood and the rooms are very comfortable and very clean.
