Reviews for Rila Hotel Borovets

Review 1:As one can expect (from a Bulgarian hotel) - as it already has the best location - it doesn't really do anything else to deserve its stars and/or price per night. The rooms are in poor condition, with old and broken furniture, there is always a long wait at the elevators, everything is expensive and there is not much you can do at the hotel itself. The minibar is empty, the TV in the room is "14 and 25 years old, the wifi is poor (though existent). This shouldn't be rated as a 4 star hotel, but well, that's Bulgaria.

Review 2:Perfect location. Cannot be beat on location at this resort. Everything is basically arranged around this hotel and the view is second to none.

Review 3:For a hotel located literally "on" a ski slope, you are not allowed officially to take your ski equipment into your room. There is a ski depot, run by a different company, which costs extra (not clearly expressed in the offer)... So, you either pay more, or you believe the security guy and walk in your socks from the entrance to your room, or you just ignore the rules (and no one does anything about that - Balkan style). Room is pretty basic, no minibar/fridge, and the smallest TV I've seen in some time (30 cm diagonal - CRT display). Access to sauna costs extra (only swimming pool and jacouzzi included in the room price). Bath robes also come with some extra costs. Room slippers were available upon request - I guess we were lucky. At some point, we requested the room to be cleaned at a later stage (not at the designated morning hour). We even left the "Please clean my room" sign on the door when we left. Unfortunately, our window of opportunity for has passed, so, no cleaning that day. Breakfast has some issues, from our point of view. First, it is not very diverse, compared to other 4* hotels. Secondly, if you arrive towards the end of the breakfast hours, they stop refilling the trays. So you have the rare opportunity to actually participate in the real Hunger Games. WiFi should be available in the lobby. It is, but it is not really working.

Review 4:Hotel is located right on the ski slope and near the resort center. Clean room. Good heating system. All rooms have balcony. Big and welcoming lobby/lounge area. Available parking places.

Review 5:Most of the spa (jacuzzis, steam rooms, etc) were out of order, which had been one of our main reasons for choosing this hotel. Nightclub was closed (on a friday night) - some might think this is a good thing! Breakfast was decent but overcrowded and you had to grab things quickly while you could! Children charging around everywhere - presumably it was the school holidays here.

Review 6:Great location by the slopes. Car park. Room was fine but nothing special.

Review 7:1. Some of the basic extra costs are not advertised on Hotel's page. E.g.: it is forbidden to enter the hotel with ski equipment and ski boots on, but the alternative solution - ski depot is extra 9 Euro per day. I don't mind paying the extra value, but I would wanted to have included in the reservation price, not to discover the cost on the spot ... 2. The same for some other facilities - bathrobe is offered for an extra cost (I think this is one of the few 4* hotel which requires payment for bathrobe :-( ) . Fitness room access is not included in the room price, neither sauna; only pool and jacuzzi. As I have said, I don't mind the extra payment, but not advertising it from the start (or not including it in the room price) looks like a poor tentative to force you paying more money. 3. Lobby bar personnel is undersized (hence also not very happy) for the area requirement. Because WiFi is available only in the lobby and restaurant areas, most people will come down to lobby to spend the evening / after ski to share media/daily pics/videos and get emails. The chance to get a waiter are so poor that you better go to the bar directly and order. 4. For a kids friendly hotel, there aren't any (or not enough) kids playgrounds. As a result, the kids will run, scream and play in the hotel lobby, in front of rooms, late in the night (even 23:30) - depending on their education. You better sleep well in noisy environments. 5. To go to restaurants at 1st/2nd floor, you need to go to ground floor and then take another lift to restaurant. Wouldn't be a problem, if the lifts would not be extremely crowded ... . Prepare to use the stairs (fire escape stairs).

Review 8:Convenient location nearby the ski slopes. Very clean and warm room, plenty of bathroom accessories. comfortable accommodation, nice set of hotel facilities.

Review 9:Not enough personel to the reception bar. Lots of waiting to give an order.

Review 10:Next to the ski slopes. Ski in ski out. Large clean rooms. Good breakfast. Indoor swimming pool. Perfect for families with kids. Book room with view to the slopes.

Review 11:The room (studio) was way too small for a family, never mind 4 adults, as it was described. Beds were really uncomfortable. Bathroom too, tiny. Not rely a place to chill out after a day skiing. The water, on one day of our stay, was very brown, but I think this was a resort wide problem, not solely our hotel. Hotel was a bit disjointed i.e. you had to trail along way to pool and spa from room.

Review 12:Great view. The facilities and location of hotel are really good, for ski lifts etc. Cleanliness and servicing of our room superb. Good variety for breakfast.

Review 13:rude staff, sheets not big enough for the bed, rooms not cleaned, treatments shorter then paid for, jacuzzi colder then pool, bath water brown for three days!!

Review 14:great location, warm swimming pool, massages on site, steam rooms

Review 15:Location is great ,but the rooms are to be redone, they need new furnitures and new carpets because they are always smelling like fish.Lobby is great ,nevertheless I would not change because location for me with two children going up and down all day long cant be better.

Review 16:Over New Year Eve the hotel was full and you could feel that it was definitely understaffed especially for serving in the lobby bar/ restaurant.

Review 17:An excellent location to spend ski holidays with kids. Direct access to the slopes. Fair price for both - accommodation and food, Friendly and helpful staff.

Review 18:There was a water problem in the mountain and while we always had water in the hotel, for one day it was a bit brown and hat grit in it.

Review 19:Excellent location, ski-in, ski-out. Very friendly staff, good faicilities

Review 20:The lifts are the worst thing about this hotel you wait ages for them, especially on check out day when everyone has suitcases.

Review 21:Location of hotel is excellent

Review 22:A little bit unpleasant was that the refurbishment works were still leaving their mark, not being entirely removed/cleaned up.

Review 23:Rila's classic features: position next to the slopes, newly refurbished with a good modern look, good breakfast

Review 24:Just tiny details such as the lobby being a construction site, the bed with a plastic mattress, the 10 inch TV set from the 80s (didn't know that these actually still exist outside the museums) with literally 3 channels, the broken shower in the bathroom, the non-working pool and SPA area, the disgusting food at the crowded breakfast restaurant. You know just tiny things ...

Review 25:The smell of fresh paint that makes you dizzy. The comforting sound of somebody next door drilling holes in the concrete at 2.30 AM. The beautiful yellowish-red color of the running water from the tap. The list goes on...

Review 26:the breakfast was meager we've ordered in the lobby bar a vegetarian burger without any animal products and they've brought it with butter It is expensive for the service they offer The room is small for 2 adults with a child

Review 27:The location It was warm in the hotel

Review 28:Rooms need a bit of updating especially the beds.

Review 29:Loved the location Great Swiminng pool Reception and bar area nice Breakfast was very good Execelent value for money

Review 30:Very poor breakfast, poor wifi,

Review 31:The pool is great, very high air temperature, good water temperature, very hot sauna, very good steam bath! And the rooms are also well heated!

Review 32:No wi-fi in rooms, bad wi-fi at the reception. The stuff was inhospitable. You have to take breakfast exactly till 10.30 a.m.Five minutes more,no breakfast, even no water.

Review 33:The location, big, clean rooms, excellentchoice of breakfast.Big outdoor terrace with nice view.

Review 34:Elevators were slow; queue on the reception (where two Bulgarian families were accepted by the receptionist - even I was before them) with total of 40 minutes to check-in; free Internet is slow and only in the lobby; rooms are small

Review 35:Location - on the ski runs, free parking, breakfast and cleaning are ok

Review 36:In the reservation, I specifically asked for the room to be in the highest possible floor and they gave us one in the zero ground. no wifi in the rooms

Review 37:It's in the best location Great breakfast

Review 38:No free wi-fi in room Asked for double bed and found two singles Lazy waitresses in the lobby bar we wait a lot of time to order

Review 39:position just 50 mt to the lift Very complete breakfast Free Swmming pool for the guests

Review 40:Hotel is very dated, rooms and bathrooms cry for refurbishment - had to ask 3 times the handymen to come and fix minor things - they were quick and nice. If you book a studio advertised as 4 adults be aware that it comes with two bunk beds that are unsuitable for anyone taller that 5.2ft and mattress are thin and hard so altogether shouldn't be offered for 4 adults. My 14 years old nephew (5.6) was unable to use such a bed which was rather frustrating. Reception staff could have been nicer when that was discussed with them and didn't offer any solution apart from repeating "it is what it is" Re rest of hotel - restaurant and Lobby are very spacious. The shops in the hotel are hugely overpriced and staff not nice. The swimming pool is great but if you want to use the sauna you have to pay a surcharge which we found strange. Gym is very basic and again you had to pay £5 to use it.

Review 41:Location is absolutely great , had lots of snow in April so excellent skiing. Advice on ski rental - don't go to the depo boro sport in front of the hotel but go to the rossignol shop on the other side where the parking is - the price per day is the same but you get brand new seoson equipment rather than old second hand one. Regarding food - better don't book half board as the buffets not so good. It's more cost effective to eat a la carte and Quality is way better. The most expensive place is bulgare restaurant - 3 times more costly than the others and food is not 3 time better so don't go there not worth it at all. ( all ski instructors push you to go there so felt quite frustrated when we discovered the other places are offering the same food for much less. Try the black tiger or if you are on a tighter budget you can visit the Popangelov restaurant / hotel at the back of the kindergarten place - very nice food good service and lowest price. We also got to meet the man himselve - the best Bulgarian skier and got a card with his authograph as a present so very nice experience. Restaurant is like museum full with pictures and troffeys - kids loved it! If you book private lessons you can ask for Alexander, Bobby or Elie at boro sport - they were excellent.

Review 42:Smoking smell in the room despite the hotel is smoking free. No kettle and basic plates, spoons, forks in the kitchennete of a family room.

Review 43:Great location, very good breakfast, clean, helpful staf. Very nice that it has a pool and a jacuzzi to relax after skiing.

Review 44:The chief of reception (women) was very rude when we checked in, the others (staff from reception, lobby bar and restaurant) were polite. Be careful if you pay for wi-fi in the room, even we paid extra, the signal was so weak most of the time we didn't have an internet, maybe because we were on 3th floor (last visit wi-fi was ok on the first floor). The rooms need renovation, but as we heard they are going to renovate for the next year (I hope this will not increase the price).

Review 45:This was our second visit (unfortunately just a weekend) at Rila Hotel this winter and I could just repeat the same review as the first time. The location is perfect, hotel facilities are very good, restaurant with pleasant atmosphere and beautiful view, variety of food for breakfast.

Review 46:Not equivalent to a British 4 **** but rooms were spacious and pleasant. Some of the waiters could be a bit more accommodating.

Review 47:Pool and jacuzzi. Location. Value. Lobby area with free wifi.

Review 48:Staff si unpolite band un professional. Beds are extremely uncomfortable, separate single beds, without possibility to put them together. They have wooden single beds and for a couple it is absolutely unacceptable. People in hotel have no willingness to help and work. The worst thing si that there is an awful smell of fried food in the corridor and in the room. When you center in the bathroom is like you center in the kitchen. Alla your clothes smell to fried and cooked. Absolutely unacceptable. Do notte go there. Even the fish spa Garra rufa si not worth, half of the fishes are di ed or ill and they do not massage tour feet. Staff is unprepaired, unhelpful and lasy.

Review 49:Position, services, big pool band jacuzzi

Review 50:Beds were basic as was breakfast but for the cost we paid we were still more than happy.

Review 51:Excellent location. Helpful staff. Good bar. Great to have a swim after a day of skiing.

Review 52:The lifts always took ages or was full ,mostly took the stairs , not that much of a problem though we was only on 3rd floor

Review 53:Location, pool, Hotub , the price

Review 54:The choice of food for the dinner was terrible. There was no meet or any other kind of main course to choose from (unless, perhaps you are among the first ones, which does not make any sense).

Review 55:Perfect location, good breakfast in quantity and quality, pool

Review 56:I didn't like the twin beds and the bar kept on running out of draught beer

Review 57:The price was excellent, the location was excellent, the amenities were ok

Review 58:well worn hotel, probably could do with some modernisation pool and jacuzzi were closed when we wanted to use them

Review 59:Friendly helpful staff, excellent location for the ski slopes, ski hire and restaurants. 100's of guests at breakfast but the staff coped so brilliantly. Tranfers to and from Sofia airport were very reasonable and much appreciated.

Review 60:TV set is ridiculous, 20 years old, no safe in room no Wi Fi in room

Review 61:The staff at reception /special thanks to Eva/ and hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, fantastic view, excellent location, food is ok

Review 62:It would be nice if the rooms had free wifi but that isn't stated in the description so we weren't too disapointed, not like they lied about it. The parking is not cleaned when there is heavy snowfall. We had to clean our car (that was ok) and then a bunch of Roma workers offered to help clear the 1m of snow arount the car but then they asked to get paid! We assumed they were sent from the hotel. Then when they helped us push the car from the snow, they asked for money again! Staff should clean the parking, that should be a normal practice for a 4 star hotel in a ski town that is used to snow.

Review 63:Even thou we weren't pleased with the room we were given (right above the bar street, very noisy, front door had a gap and light was coming in), we asked to switch a room and they gave us a new one right the next morning. One time the faucet in the bathroom was leaking and they fixed it immediately. The location is perfect. The breakfast foor is abundant and great, we always end up eating way too much. The rooms are heated, the pool and hot tub are great. They also give you towels an slippers there.

Review 64:I PAID for the Wifi and despite this it only worked late at night (after midnight). I kept getting disconnected at other times or else it was too slow to use. I had to cancel work I was supposed to do because I had no internet. All the surrounding facilities offered free wifi which worked great but inside the hotel it SUCKED.

Review 65:Lots of cool facilities right inside the hotel. Free breakfast was quite nice (although it was very busy in the morning). Pools and other facilities were fantastic.

Review 66:The personnel are rude and not helpful, not very comfort beds, you have to pay for Wi-Fi in the room.

Review 67:Perfect location for a ski vacation, right next to the slopes.

Review 68:Poor Wi-Fi at the loby, for the rooms you could pay extra and than is ok. Rooms are far from 4 stars hotel, need renovation and new beds. Parking was full of snow and no one from the hotel staff didn't worry that cars couldn't get out.

Review 69:Location is perfect, right on the pistes. Great view from the balcony (and room), hotel facilities are good, breakfast was well enough in quality and quantity.

Review 70:the room not suitable call hotel, look like hostel small bed. i have order studio got double on my first day my children no place to sleep they charge me same amount,no facilities in the room, never return...

Review 71:nothing i like disaster too expensive for that kind of hotel

Review 72:I don't mind with the roms they are a bit old, what I didn't like are the mattresses they were really poor and uncomfortable. The rest is normal for me.

Review 73:I like the food, swimming pool, lobby bar Ann etc.

Review 74:You only get free wifi in the lobby, you need to pay to get it in your room and even then it doesn't always work

Review 75:Location was excellent, right on the slope. Standard hotel ideal for skiing.

Review 76:wifi free & paid internet not really functional. Router blocks important applications like whatsup and webbased https mail etc ...

Review 77:location is perfect, rooms are clean.

Review 78:Every night in the middle of the night at 3am the room was far too hot even though we turned the radiator off on the first day.

Review 79:Location, Swimming Pool

Review 80:Food in evening was not very good. Pool not very small children friendly. Shallow end is 1.4m.

Review 81:Hotel is in great location. We were lucky to have had rooms to the road side. Other side quite noisy due to bars.

Review 82:The hotel itself is very old and it shows, it really needs a renovation. The rooms are just mediocre but if you can find them in low price go for it. Most personel doesnt speak english and they dont look eager to service you, they are also understaffed for so many visitors they have . The room delivery number for example doesnt work although there are flyers in the room that suggests it works. I was never able to reach someone through the room phone to order coffee or food.

Review 83:The location is perfect, right in the middle of the ski track. The big lobby with the huge leather couches and free internet is a great place to pass your time. The massage and spa-jacuzzi swimming pool facilities are great.

Review 84:No kettle, tea or coffee in a 4star hotel? Staff not very friendly in breakfast.

Review 85:Location, views, breakfast good but staff not very friendly or happy. Facilities in general eg. Ski pass counter, bank, reception desk staff helpful.

Review 86:Didn't like the fact the bar staff add their own tips if you pay by cash. I would have gladly tipped if given the opportunity but when I asked for the bill they would just verbally give you a figure which was typically inflated by .5 - 2 lv. The way to avoid this is to sign to room.

Review 87:The pool is great, it's in a great location.

Review 88:Rather plain in hallways - bit tatty Only had baked beans once for breakfast Would have liked bacon and fried egg Shower broken - water sprayed out at back No sheets for bed Beds rather hard - had to use what we assume were the duvets (very thin - had to double them up)

Review 89:Location - clean - swimming area etc - downstairs seating area

Review 90:Beds soft and uncomfortable. Decor tired and in need of a refueb

Review 91:Basic but adequate hotel, great location on the slopes, good value for money. Family rooms good size for 4

Review 92:It's not normal in a 4 star hotel to have to pay extra for sauna, steam bath, bathrobe, and wi-fi

Review 93:perfect location; a nice pool with a great view; the rooms are big and comfy

Review 94:The beds were very bad. Almost can not sleep. TV very old model. No Macedonian TV channels even though 80% of the guests were Macedonians. Very bad WiFi in the lobby.

Review 95:Location

Review 96:Staf was not helpful, the room we booked ws to small...than we payed extra for biger romm which was catastrophe for my kids to sleep, it is not like it look in the pictures..do not go there..for sauna you have to pay 6 euro per person ...evei in the booking page says is for free,,in wirpool 30 people at the same time... when we checed in we waited 4 hours till they could acomade us i the room...they do not care about nothing. I never write e review but it is the worst hotel i spend money and time... it is not ranget even for 1 star hotel..do not believe what you see in the pictures..

Review 97:Nothing

Review 98:Poor breakfast, hotel standard less then three stars. Terrible bed, very uncomfortable. The rooms with slopes view are very noisy during the night, impossible to sleep. The swimming pool area is too cold. The water in the pool is frozen so practically impossible to use it.

Review 99:Location.

Review 100:The kitchenette only has cups for coffee, don't know if they provide cutlery and pots though, so you might need to bring your own. The jacuzzi looked pretty dirty. Big minus-frequent power shortage when elevators don't work -not only Rila but whole of Borovec

Review 101:Reading the reviews I was a bit nervous, but actually we were pleasantly surprised of how nice it was. The room(studio) is big enough, warm and clean. We only used the kitchen for coffee and light meals for the little one. The food is excellent, variety for breakfast with fresh fruits and pastries and dinner as well(Rila restaurant) we also dined in the other restaurant-and the food was also very nice. The staff is very attentive and polite. The pool is large and the best for last-the location is perfect. We will probably come back again.

Review 102:Staff was inpolite. The studio was smaller than a normal single room. No Wi-fi available at the room. The child;s bed was in a small corridor. The TV set screen was ancient with few programms

Review 103:Location and the swimming pool. Breakfast was satisfactory

Review 104:I bought 3 ski cards from hotel and one day they stop me because I mix the cards with one lady (no one told to me that are man and women cards) I stay more than one hour for clarification and I believe it was just an employer fun.

Review 105:Hotel condition, food, pool, hotel staff behavior it was good.

Review 106:Some kind of vent was blowing air that smelled of cigarette smoke in the room. There wasn't a way to stop this. But I did not complain about that, so don;t know if they would have done something. Overall though this is a great place.

Review 107:The location is amazing, and the hotel has a great pool and jacuzzi area. You can walk to the lifts and slopes, in fact some are right in front. Great views from the balconies. Clean and spacious rooms. Food is great! I would recommend this place for both summer and winter mountain vacations.

Review 108:The hotel needs updating, but it is good considering the price. The WiFi was intermittent in the rooms; the signal strength was good, but the Internet access was not.

Review 109:The location, communal lounge/bar area & the price. You can Ski to the door. The WiFi in the lounge area was good with decent throughput.

Review 110:Noisy people during breakfast Limited choice of food Old TV set Noisy fridge No socket near the bed

Review 111:Balcony view Access to pist Lobby bar Sauna and pool Friendly staff

Review 112:Suites don't have enough kitchen utensils to use their kitchen facilities. Only cups and glasses. Free WiFi is available only at the lobby and unstable with high load. Half board dinner is quite boring, but it is compensated well with surrounding restaurants.

Review 113:Perfect location right in front of the slopes. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Review 114:Very slow reception staff, insufficient hot swimming pool, very, very slow elevators, price for sauna, no wi-fi in rooms

Review 115:Perfect location, clean rooms, taste breakfast, comfort

Review 116:The hotel can not handle full capasity, sometimes you have to vait more than five minutes for elevator, or you have to vait for free table for breakfast

Review 117:The location, it is very near, the pool was nice and clean.

Review 118:False advertising - no internet and a level of 2 star, rather the 4 star rating. Very old everything: the building needs FULL renovation, the rooms, the tv ( from 30-40 years ago) the bathrooms and EVERYTHING ELSE! The stuff is excellent, but the management is UNACCEPTABLE! Either change the number of stars, or get to invest real money in this hotel, it is worth it as the location is absolute GOLDEN, the sky is just out of the door!

Review 119:The location

Review 120:I visited this place 3 times, it's better when you live in double room here, because last time we tried studio and there are 1 double bed (like for children, where you have 2 floors :D) and this is not as comfortable as it should be.

Review 121:Very close to all sights. Double rooms are good. Nice breakfasts.

Review 122:The beds were poor, very old and uncomfortable. Even though, I reserved a nonsmoking room the ventilation brings the smoke from other rooms and it lasts for the whole day. It is not quite environment, you can hear yelling and singing almost in late hours and you cannot get sleep. You can smell still the desinfection preparats used in the rooms.

Review 123:The location of the hotel is directly on the ski slopes. No need for extra walk. Staff was friendly. Food was good. Free parking. The lobby is great.

Review 124:The room was smelly. The bed and equipment doesn't match with a 4 stars hotel. The wifi is not free The personal will do the maximum to not help you

Review 125:It is close to the ski station

Review 126:The staff are neither friendly or helpful which is a shame because outside the hotel in the bars and restaurant's, they are extremely nice

Review 127:Pool area was very good, the location is superb

Review 128:Uncomfortable bed and pillows. There is no fridge in the room, as well as kettle to make yourself coffee or tea. Would be nice if there was a complimentary bottle of mineral water or at least to put a note if the tap water is drinkable or not.

Review 129:So far the best breakfast at hotel in Bulgaria. Clean and warm room.

Review 130:- poor wifi, although free, available only in the lobby area, which is usually pretty full, drafty and noisy - poor selection of breakfast - chilly temperature in the pool area (due to glass walls) - only a few staff members speak English

Review 131:- room is fairly spacious and clean - very nice spa with sauna and steam bath - very close to slopes and restaurants - many shops inside

Review 132:I was not very satisfied with the approach of the staff at the reception to us. They were not flexible at all. They charged us about EUR 40.- for the late check out. Most of the waiters are very rude and mostly they don't speak English. In the room I could not find the reception phone number and when I asked to the reception they were not aware of it as well! Worst of all I tried dialing the reception but missed unfortunately because of the given number was not correct. When I check out from the hotel I realised that they charged me for a minute for all the numbers I tried to connect but missed to the reception!!! Room safe, minibar and slippers were not existing in the rooms.

Review 133:The location of the hotel is very good. Rightnext to the slop. The rooms are clean although it was not very comfortable. I can say that this hotel was the best hotel alternative in Bovorets. I think for the families and for the skiers with small childeren this hotel will be the best choise. Any way I loved Borovets and if I come to Bovorets again I would stay at the same hotel.

Review 134:Average breakfast, very old style, no tv channels, no wifi, expensive, cold pool. Not recommended to couples. Next time to Alpin hotel.

Review 135:Location, warm room, nice view.

Review 136:The breakfast was good, but not varied - every morning one and the same. The water in the pool was cold at the evening, and the water was apparently dirty.

Review 137:The stuff was helpful. I really liked the location of the hotel. Also, one night there was music, but they stopped at 23 o'clock, so it was ok to sleep. My room was on the back side of the hotel, so it was really peaceful. The rooms are warm during the winter.

Review 138:This are a second year going to the hotel so we knew what to expect. Though this year checked in and they lost the booking confirmation. I only found out as they told my wife who speaks Bulgarian they lost it! On my booking I asked for the same room as last year though as with a lot in the hotel things got lost in translation. After several trips to different rooms finally settled for the room we required. Receptionist was friendly though again better English is needed for front desk. Hotel is at the most a 3 star type hotel.

Review 139:location is great. & pool facilties really good for small children. The place is really good value for money. If u moan about every little thing this hotel is not for you! Breakfast is adequate.

Review 140:Purchased wifi for my 3rd floor room, was very poor, rooms are dated, but I believe the downstairs area will be updated, rooms not warm enough, shower was only warm, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast was adequate, tried at different times in the morning, was never quite hot enough. It does cater for all nationalities, so to be fair, was good quality, value for money, excellent, lively happy place to visit, my 3rd visit, 20-28 dec 2014 was unlucky with the lack of snow.

Review 141:Location excellent, you can ski straight to the front of the hotel. Night life caters for all ages, hotel has indoor heated pool and jacuzzi, with spa/salon,

Review 142:No cutlery in studio No area for small kids Noisy snow machines were working all night just in front of the room No bathrobe in the room to reach the sauna/pool area No sofa in room

Review 143:Location Breakfast Pool

Review 144:Pool and Spa zone was a bit cold

Review 145:Nice location - close to everything, view of the mountain, big hotel with nice facilities, perfect breakfast, warm and big room

Review 146:The hotel is not fully heated at all times and so you might get a colder room (depending on the season) Internet is paid in the rooms - not cool Lobby staff is not friendly - they act as you owe them ....

Review 147:The food & the restaurant are great (both food and service/staff) The pool is great The location is awesome The reception staff was great to move us to "warmer" room (see don't likes)

Review 148:They do not accept euros at reception and ask us to go to their bank . Very old hotel needs refurbished. The matters are very old. The gave Wi-fi in the room we had to pay six leva for each device.
