Review 1：Breakfast should be served at a better place. Double bed is prepared with two single mattresses.

Review 2：Location. Receptionists - friendly, informative and helpful. Two complimentary bottles of water and farewell bottle of wine upon departure - nice touch. Ashtray at the balcony. Clean, lovely decorated room. Lift.

Review 3：The breakfast was served on the third floor the lift only went to the second floor then you had to climb 2 flights of steep stairs not very good when you are disabled. Also there was no where in the hotel to get a coffee after 10pm at night.

Review 4：An excellent location Ruse main square less than 5minute walk away. It was very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly.

Review 5：The only thing I could possibly criticise is that at breakfast both the butter and the fetta cheese tasted and smelled like they'd gone bad. Really bad. I mentioned it to the staff member there and she insisted that Bulgarian butter naturally tastes like that. I'm not convinced but when we checked out they gave us a bottle of wine and a card with an apology and assurance that it was definitely supposed to taste like that. Such lovely service it didn't spoil our trip one little bit.

And agreeabout the completely unexpected Chinese cuisine downstairs - very yummy.We didn't have time to try out the spa, but it looks like a goodbet. Great value for money.

Great location near by the city center, excellent accommodation, beautiful indesign and art interior, wonderful exterior and Viennese style building. Review 30：The bathroom was a pain - a triumph of design of practicality. The shower was next to the door with a tiny shower screen that ended some distance from the floor. This resulted in large amounts of water next to the door and wet feet going to the loo if you were not careful.

Review 31：Pleasant modern (if "overdesigned") hotel in an old building. Giving us half a bottle of wine as we left was a nice touch. 10% off the reasonable Chinese Restaurant on the ground floor (and some ofthe places) but avoid the stir fried prawns - small prawns in mounds of soggy batter.

Review 34：Not a problem for those fully mobile but the stairs to breakfast as rather steep if one does have mobility impairment. Car parking is not "on-site" as quoted but on street. However this did not pose any problem and the staff member on arrival was very helpful. There was no security problem with our rental car.

Review 35：One of the best hotels ever stayed in. It was truly an oasis within a rather sad country. Room an excellent size and a bonus of a balcony. Everything had been thought through very thoroughly from design, fabrics to colour scheme. How nice to find the wifi code already written on the key folder, without having to ask for it on arrival, and to be provided with a town map and 10% off at other restuarants in town, which we made full use of, whilst entertaining Bulgarian friends. Little things like this, including complimentary water and cake in the room on arrival. Chinese restaurant on ground floor excellent, as was breakfast on top floor. Excellent location for town center and Danube. Hotel displays a standard others could emulate.

Review 36：The first night we were in a room on the first floor. We could hear fairly loud bass music coming from somewhere but couldn't figure out where. Around midnight, we went to reception to see if they could help. They said it was coming from a bar that was in the same building and went to try to get them to turn it down. The music continued until 4 in the morning. It didn't keep our neighbors up (we could hear them snoring when we walked past their door), but might be a problem if you are a light sleeper. When we went down in the morning, the woman on staff apologized and offered to move us to the 2nd floor before we even said anything to her about it. The hotel and staff were wonderful, but if you are bothered by noise at night you might want to request a room on the 2nd floor.

Review 37：The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They gladly called to get information for us and to book us a taxi. When we told them we needed to leave early the next morning, not only did they offer us a packed lunch, they also asked about our food preferences. The hotel was nicely decorated and very comfortable. The location was great - only 2 blocks from the main square in one direction and a couple of blocks from the Danube in the other.

Review 39：Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely room, nice bathroom wtih plenty of hot water, one of the most comfortable hotels I have ever stayed at and there's a fantastic Chinese restaurant downstairs too which offers good food at great prices. The complimentary bottle of wine from local vineyard Vermogle at checkout is a nice touch too.

Review 44：the shower is an issue as it doesn't have a tub and the whole bathroom gets filled with water. The heating is done through ventilation and it's quite noisy if you set it for max heat. The refrigerator is very noisy so I had to unplug in in the night in order to sleep.

Review 48：Don't know why every hotel in Bulgaria, no matter how classy, has to play this awful wrecking-ball pop music at breakfast -- this place included. Though they did turn it down a bit when we asked them to. Also: the woman working at the desk was great -- very friendly and helpful with excellent English. What concerned me was she was there when we checked in at midday, there when we went out and came back from dinner around 10PM, and then there again earlyish in the morning... I sincerely hope she is working fair hours -- and paid fairly for them.

Review 54：Great hotel, very close to the pedestrian square but a few blocks off so it was quiet at night. Everything was nice, clean and modern, bit still retained some charm. Breakfast was a nice buffet, and the staff were very nice and helpful - especially checking out. They arranged our transportation to Bucharest for us which was great since we only know a few words of Bulgaria. Overall a great stay in Ruse.

Review 55：The bathroom does not have a shower cabin so the water goes all over the floor. The ventilation system is not efficient enough: after showering there is a heavy smell of mold in the bathroom. We think is coming from the false ceiling. Also the bathroom needs more lights as the walls are black. No light near the mirror therefore almost impossible to shave properly. Breakfast definitely needs improvement. Parking place is not always available as next to the hotel entrance there is a hairdressing salon.

It isconveniently located in the centre, close to restaurants / museumsetc. It is located in a very nice, restored building which has beenwonderfully repurposed and decorated.Reception staff were very nice and helpful and were able to speak English. We were given a map and various restaurant cards that enabled a 10% discount on account of staying at the hotel. Like the rest of the hotel, our room was beautiful and immaculately clean. The beds were very comfortable and the large windows were fitted with extremely good blackout curtains - which resulted in a fantastic night's sleep! Breakfast the following morning was very good. It consisted of a buffet served in a very nice little breakfast room on the third floor of the hotel. Overall, a very nice, professional boutique hotel with extra attention paid to the little details - such as complimentary bottled water in the room. We were even given gifts upon checkout ( a nice postcard of Ruse and a small bottle of white wine)! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and we will definitely be returning ourselves whenever we have the chance.
