Review 1：A little far to get around but mainly because Montreal itself is spaced out a fair bit.
Review 2：Staff were lovely and willing to help in any way possible. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend for budget travelers and those who just need a safe warm place to stay. Staff even gave un an extra blanket without having to ask because they saw we got the extra one out of the wardrobe.

Review 5：Because this was a business booking, the room was (we thought) pre-paid by the sponsor's card. The guest was not able to check in upon arrival until the sponsor came in person to show them their card. Imagine after a long international flight having to wait in the lobby for couple of hours. Nowhere did it say the card used to book the room would need to be presented upon check-in. They wouldn't even hold the guest's card until the sponsor could arrive in person. Then the room he was given was in the basement and had no windows. He was moved to another room. The internet worked poorly and the overall condition of the hotel was poor. You get what you pay for. Review 9：The bathroom is tiny and there was no where to put clothing if you wanted to change in there - definitely not comfortable if you cannot change in front of your travel companions. Beds needed blankets - they only had a sheet and a bedspread. Parking is a pain but that is typical for Montreal. Wifi only worked in the hallway.
Review 10：Location was wonderful. There were lots of small bars and cafes around as well as a gas station with a convenience store right across the street. There was a park kitty corner and it is right at the base of the mountain. The staff was lovely.

Review 35：Really weird overhead fan arrangement. The fan and ceiling pot lights over a wall of mirrors were on the same switch, which meant you couldn't have the fan without the lights. Must have made sense to some one.

Staff are friendly & helpful. Room is quite small, but furniture is the right kind: e.g. there is a table and a chair, which my last hotel didn't have.
Review 108：Cold, the heater take hours to heat the room. Cold air in the bathroom like if there was an open window in the bathroom. A lot of noise coming from the room in front. I could hear then like if they were in the same room as me. They opened their door more than 50 time no lies in 4h.

Narrow rooms, bad decorated, a/c is week or not working and very noisy, and the bathroom was very narrow. There is no parking and the streets there are very crowded. I'm sure you could find much cheaper hotels with the same service. If you are looking for a cheap hotel, find cheaper hotels to get the same service. Do not expect a service in this hotel better than those of the cheaper hotels. Or you can add $20 or $30 per night and find a more comfortable hotel.

Narrow rooms, bad decorated, a/c is week or not working and very noisy, and the bathroom was very narrow to the extend that you could hardly stand in it. The tub?? Sorry there is no tub.
