Review 1：Found empty coke bottle in the bed table, fridge was too noisy.

Review 11：Stunning seaside view, being downtown - the hotel located at the cross of two main streets, one the main trade street of Varna, and the other leading to the Sea Garden of the city, with lots of nice restaurants, cafes and small boutiques. The breakfast was good and served at the panorama restaurant.

Review 12：On the website it stated hotel had gym and swimming pool when we went to ask at reception they said there was no gym or pool.On our last day we had to take the stairs as the electric was being switched off from 9-12 and we came across women who was waiting for their gym class to start! Think the hotel was in the middle of a refurbishment floors 1-4 had different carpet and doors l noticed this whilst in the lift. The room which we stayed in 503 needed updating... no extractor fan in bathroom, no safe in rooms (you could ask for a safe deposit box in reception), tv was a tiny still the old fashioned box type,fridge was rather noise at times.

Review 20：The hotel needs to be renovated. It's an old hotel. It was built during the communism time. For business people it's not the right place to stay. The internet in the room is very slow.

I never saw in my life such an unpolite staff,if you ask something they cut your talk and they do something else or they pretend they have to make a phonecall,they block on your credit card some 23 dollars more than the amount you have to pay ,just in case you do something bad...but they dont inform you about that which is not correct. after 3-4 days when they charge the credit card they give you back the blocked money. When you check out they ask you if you had something from the minibar and of course you tell yes if this is the case and you pay for it-this happened to me,but then in front of you they call the cleanning woman in the room and they ask her if she checked the minibar...and if is true or not your payment ....well,simply put they are very unpolite and their behavior is like you are a liar or something like that. I have moved in a better hotel with great polite staff. I must tell though that not all the receptionists are so unpolite,only some of them.

Review 30：Because of the location of the room in the hotel, and the fact that we use Mac, we couldn't get wifi in our room. The manager offered to put a special device into our room, but what she had was not usable for Macs, so we had to go to the Lobby to get onto wifi. For us this was an unwelcome inconvenience.

Review 31：The hotel was a five minute walk to the sea. The room was a bright spacious corner room on a high floor with windows on two sides, a balcony, and incredible unobstructed panoramic views. We couldn't have asked for a better room except the problem with wifi in the room.

Review 32：I had to wait nearly an hour to check in as there was only one person at the reception. On a check out I have been accused of having a packet of nuts from the mini bar which I didn't have. The receptionist was very unprofessional and rude. I paid it as I was in a hurry and didn't want the hassle really. I travel a lot in Europe and never experienced such an attitude.

Review 39：Nothing to like except the view. I booked a superior room ( most expensive, aprox 120 leva) and what i got was supposed to be a renovated room. All i goy was a bad smelling room, uncleaned floor, dirty bathroom with long dark hair on walls and bathtube; i belive nobody ever cleaned the surface under th bathtube; awful bed and pillows and a 15 years old 12 inch crt tv ( although it was supposed to be a flat tv ). More than that, breakfast was disgusting at the best, uncooked boiled eggs, stale bread, stale food overall, only thing good was the cheese. Only eatable thing was probably the pastries ( which i dont eat )

Review 41：Construction right outside of the hotel started at 7.30- 8 am ! We were on the last floor with the doors and windows shut and still got woken up from the noise. Bed was big, but uncomfortable because of the springs almost digging into our ribs. (Old, over-used mattress ) When trying to eat breakfast outside on the balcony in the restaurant, we were under constant attack by seagulls. I understand that nature is uncontrollable, but I am sure something could be done to keep the birds out of the tables.

Review 42：The staff was very friendly and helpful. My boyfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary and the staff surprised us with the best view in the house. It was a very large room, with lots of sunlight! Breakfast was also very delicious and with a big variety of choices. Renovated beautiful bathroom, with a large tub ! Very pleasant!

Review 45：It's old hotel, had previous glory but now needs a lot of work. TV is very small, really old, most of programs can't be seen, makes noses. Absolutely useless. Carpet has a story written on it with stains. Bell boy sits and plays on the phone. We left luggage after check-out for some hours and he just sat and watched us - 2 ladies how we struggle with one big suitcase and didn't even put out his hands out of pockets.

Review 58：But, the lobby and the surroundings of the hotel were populated by weird people, probably going to the casino at the first floor. The lobby itself looks pre-historic, same for the elevators. The bell man doesn't speak any foreign language, and the staff at the front desk strives to understand English but have serious difficulties in speaking. The room we got was small, with an ancient, incredibly small TV, with poor reception and lots of added noise. There is no heating except the AC, which has to work 24/7 to keep a good temperature during cold days. The balcony is so worn out we didn't dare to step inside. The minibar was empty, although the girl at the reception informed us twice that we need to pay for whatever we use from it. Wi Fi was free but didn't work well. The front desk installed a new router outside our room and this solved the problem partially.

Review 59：This hotel is located in the very center of Varna and it's one of the tallest buildings in the city, offering great 360 degree views. And it's officially ranked as 4 stars. They offer rooms described as renovated and non-renovated. On the positive side, we had a great sleep (after calling the reception to complain about the noise from the other room where there was a party) and the views of Varna and the sea are great. Price was low, too low for a four star, a bit high for what we got. Location is also perfect, but there are many other hotels in the same area.

Review 61：It had a great view , friendly staff , cozy room. Maid cleaned my room in the morning. Close to the see with an amazing view , balcony , wifi , tv ( 40 + channels ) , at the top of the hotel it was a restaurant with an amazing view.

Review 62：Heater didn't work, and upon inspection had not been cleaned in a very long time. I ended up cleaning it out and it improved a little bit, but the room was constantly cold. WiFi was intermittent, only working at 4-7am.

Review 64：booked in new years eve and restaurant was closed for private party, we tried room service as there was a menu in the room to be told not available. Then we were told we couldn't have drink in Cocktail bar as this was closed for private party. The receptionist couldn't care less attitude was the final straw so we decided to check out as no facillities available to guests. Review 74：The staff at reception was quite impolite. We had booked a comfort double room. Upon arrival they offered to give us a "luxury" room instead for the same money. That "luxury" room turned out to be horrible - moldy bathroom and we found hair in the bed. After arguing about it we got our comfort room which was bigger and better. Breakfast could be better. For the size of the hotel one would expect a better breakfast. And not everything was fresh. Upon departure they made us wait until they checked the room - whether we had stolen or broken something. We thought that was quite humiliating for the guests.

Review 82：I stayed in hotel "Cherno more" for four nights. I chose it because it's in the mere center of Varna and all the restaurants, bars and the sea garden are within walking distance. The bus stop for the buses which take you the the beaches north from Varna, is also nearby. I got a room on the eleventh floor with an amazing view to the city, the sea and the sea garden. The rooms are quite spacious with a sofa and a coffee table. There's a big terrace. The bathrooms are also huge with a bathtub and a hairdryer. The breakfast is on the roof floor. The staff is helpful and friendly. There is Wi-Fi in the rooms. I definitely recommend this hotel and I will stay there again another time.

I had a standard double room - the worst I ever seen in my whole life: small, dusty,dirty, smelly, no facilities at all in the bathroom, nothing in the mini-bar, not even a chair in the extremely dirty balcony! They didn't even provided with some plastick bags the garbage baskets from both the room and the bathroom! Cleaning done on a regular basis was extremely superficial- bathroom was never cleaned, garbage was removed only if the basket was almost full, no refreshed towels, no glasses washed, no trash removed from the balcony, nothing! The staff at the reception extremely rude: my first morning in there I asked where is the breakfast room and she refused to answer but in Bulgarian!!! Then, when I asked her how come that she's employed in an international hotel not being able to speak English and asked for her boss, she swithched instantly to English. As far as the breakfast is concerned- horrible!!! The cheapest salamis and cheeses, old cookies ,breads and fruits every single day, just like eerything was bought from a second hand market. I was only able to touch the cofee, but I quit after 2 days and had proper breakfast across the street at some terrasse. In just few words: horrible hotel with horrible services! I wouldn't recommend it even to my enemies!
