Review 1：Booked same hotel on the way back. The heat was not turned up in the suite, very cold. Took a long time for suite to heat up. We were both very tired after a trying week so this was disappointing. I guess we should have complained to the management at the time but it was late and we put up with it.

Review 2：Great parking for extra vehicles and for larger vehicles.

Review 3：The T.V. had subtitles. We couldn't remove it and called the manager. She tried ,said her son was great with that kind of thing , left and nobody came back ! Minor thing.

Review 5：Rooms look newly renovated. Comfortable bed, very clean bathroom. Nice to have a mini fridge and microwave. Flat screen TV and nice new carpets. Will be our new regular Hope hotel.

Review 7：We are a large family with young adult and teenage children. Always getting 2 rooms is so expensive. The deluxe family suite was huge and perfect for us. Small kitchen perfect for the food in our cooler and for making breakfast - more savings!

Review 8：Spacious room. It is off the highway so it was quiet and we were able to go for a walk through the neighbourhood. Restaurants within walking distance. Rooms have been recently renovated.

Review 9：Loved the quiet and towering pines. The little chairs outside allowed for quiet evening visits and peaceful morning start. And of course the view was amazing!

Review 10：Bathroom a disaster. Hand held shower was scotch-taped to broken holder, hot/cold controls did not work. So providing you were a contortionist who didn't mind getting scalded periodically.... Windows were so old/broken that it took all your might to close/open them. security was a few pieces of wood jammed in the runners. Neither bedside light worked so beds had to be pulled right out to get to sockets behind them.

Review 12：Sitting on the balcony you want to enjoy the view and quiet surroundingbut the only thing you hear are the airco'S. Thank god for airco bythe way because it was 34 degrees.

Review 14：It was my understanding that this was a family suite, problem was there was no oven to use. The coffee maker was broken. And the fridge froze all our food (guess that's better than it going to waste). And we get into the room to find a sign that says there's an additional charge to actually use the kitchen, what did I pay for then?

Review 15：. Hosts friendly and accommodating. This year we noticed the decor, TV and mattresses have been upgraded. It's not fancy but clean and quiet nestled under towering Douglas Firs. Pet friendly.

Review 16：We liked everything about this motel. The room was new, clean, and had everything that any traveller's would need for sure. The staff was fantastic. No complaints what so ever. I would recommend this to anyone.

Review 17：I was traveling with my dogs and they re-assigned me to a new room so that I could park in the shade to keep the dogs cool. It is on a quiet street so sleeping was good.

Review 19：The motel was not what was advertised There was no fireplace as shown and the room was smaller. There were only 2 towels for 4 people. It was over priced for a mid-grade motel.

Review 21：No frills but none needed when stopping for a one night sleep on our way west. Clean room. I liked that all rooms were on the first floor so we could back the car right to the door. Many hotels in Hope are like that but not all.

Review 22：Poor information on how to use the ac. And the fridge as it froze all our food which we had to throw out and replace the shower head leaked all over the bathroom, the kitchenette was not what hoped it to be shown on the web site

Review 23：The top sheet of the bed was covered in disgusting bodily fluids. They came and changed it right away... but only the top sheet and I, for one, felt horrified to have to sleep in the bed.

Review 63：Well I admit we were a little taken aback when we saw the sign in the kitchenette reading it is a $10.00 charge to use the kitchen. When I booked the suite it advertised the kitchen as one of the amenities. This to me meant we had a kitchen included in the price of the room. It felt like false advertising.

Review 65：I booked this room for my sister who had to go to Vancouver to the hospital for some tests etc and she was just too tired from the ordeal to do it herself. Traveling from way in the interior and have a grueling day of medical tests was very difficult so staying at the Skagit Motel was the highlight of her trip. She said that she really enjoyed the peace and quiet! She also mentioned the staff and their friendly, accommodating support made their stay so much more restful. I would highly recommend this Motel!! Thanks so much!

Review 66：Ideal for a stop-over. Some motels in town are a little tired but although this is not what would be called 'up market' is is ideal for a night or two.
