Reviews for Tour des Voyageurs
Review 1:The rowdiness of some people staying at the hotel. It forced us to move from Tower 1 to Tower 2. Other than that my stay was awesome!
Review 2:Location: right in the centre of the action. It's also located right next to the mini-gondola to take you up to the ski hill. Rooms: Simple, clean and everything needed for a 3-night stay. Facilities: the hot tube and sauna was extremely useful after a long day of skiing. The hotel also had ski lockers which was also a big bonus.
Review 3:Think parking should be included in the room price.
Review 4:The convenience of Ski in, ski out. The renovations in tower 2 were very nice. Our room was very spacious, clean and was cozy with the fireplace. The outdoor hot tub and sauna were also very enjoyable.
Review 5:It would have been better if the hotel had a restaurant at least for breakfast and a bar for apres- ski would have been good.
Review 6:the best located hotel at mont tremblant for skiers and you walk uphill for dinner so at least after dinner you are walking downhill home! we had a 2 bedroom family room which was brilliant, very roomy and comfortable.
Review 7:The gym is small. Tour 1 is outdated. It was a little noisy
Review 8:The apartment was large and had all the necessary tools to feel good. The personnel was responsive to needs. The garage was convenient.
Review 9:No breakfast included, hygiene in spa was not very well, walls between the rooms are clairaudient, complementary wifi is very slow and doesn't allow video streaming or vpn.
Review 10:Very convenient to have the complementary lift to the upper city center. Parking right below the building and spa and sauna in the building for free use.
Review 11:It wasn't clean! there was poop splashes on the bath tub, the kitchen sink was dirty, the windows too, and there was dust on the coffee machine. The room was separated from the next room by an empty door, we could hear the Neighbors like they were in the room with us. We switched rooms. But the walls were paper thin and there were what sounded like 10 people in the next room and they were having a loud party. At midnight the receptionnist changed us hotels! In the cold, in our pj's, we walked to another hotel. The manager from la tour des voyageurs wants to refund us but needs your permission. Had I known how complicated it would be, I would have made my reservation directly with them.... I feel I should not have to pay for such a nightmarish night... the staff, including the manager, are very helpful. They tried their best...
Review 12:the staff tried their best to accomodate us
Review 13:It was the best hotel stay I have ever had. Everything was great about this hotel. It far exceeded my expectations and did a fantastic job providing all my needs and much more for a terrific cost!
Review 14:No coffee and real cream in foyer....i
Review 15:The set up of the room was so comfortable....great location. I love being able to wait in my room to be notified by text when my table was ready at the restaurant.
Review 16:Would of liked the coffee shop open but I guess with renovations going on it was closed.
Review 17:We were able to check in early. We also got the room we requested.
Review 18:The room was so hot and dry at night. We were told it was a queen. It was a double. And if we saved our towels for the two days we would get a 5$ rebate. That didn't happen. Nothing was open like the lifts to view the mountains. Should have been advertised. And for 280$ for 2 nights there was no breakfast.
Review 19:The location
Review 20:Went with another couple paid the same as them but they had studio with fire place private bedroom full kitchen etc we were given room 3o5 motel style unit we were disapointed
Review 21:Location was good
Review 22:The room I booked with the photo you showed was not what I got When i told them they said to take it up with booking.com You offered free wifi You did not notify me is was very basic And they had no movie options Not fun to be indoors while baby is asleep with no wifi or film Misrepresentation on booking.com and they had absolutely no care to help better accommodate. Going to be writing a review on trip central
Review 23:Excellent location. Right in center. Good benefits : coupon for free ride to top of mountain. Great view from balcony. Great room with character. Only shortcoming is the key card which can hardly open the door.
Review 24:Underground parking so small and tight, very hard to park and u-turn, building has two locations on each side of the walkway, so we ended up parking in another garage across the street. Housekeeping were off work at 6pm on a busy Saturday. The duvet requested was never delivered. Wifi had a complicated password and logged off each time I put my phone to sleep, what s worse was it only supported two devices! Kitchen has old oil smell that really bothered my mom.
Review 25:Suite style so my parents and I all got our own bed, so we had a good night sleep. They allowed us parking till 1pm even though we checked out at 10:30am.
Review 26:Nil
Review 27:Location was excellent, room was huge and well presented, nice views all around, quiet, huge bed, nice spa bath. Value for money. Helpful at reception.
Review 28:The hotel is amazing! I reserved a studio, thinking that it'll be a smaller room.. and I walked into a beautiful studio with a complete kitchen, living room and cutest little balcony. The people at reception are lovely and ready to help, it was really a great experience!
Review 29:The hotel is built into retail, so there arent that many entrances - had to go long way most of the time; parking was across the road in under some condos very tight; only one ice machine and it wasnt working; asked for king bed, got 2 queens that they framed as an "upgrade"
Review 30:Location was great, right at the base of the village; room was very spacious, condo style with kitchen, big bathroom; staff were friendly; coffee shop attached was awesome, great food and coffee (but coffee and a croissant each was $20)
Review 31:The rooms are a little bit passé and comfort is a bit short of modern standards. The pool is tiny and crowded.
Review 32:The property is nicely located near the Resort and restaurants
Review 33:The bathing shower head was not working very properly. The water was sometimes hot sometimes cold. We had to watch carefully when our kids took the shower.
Review 34:I book the room with a queen bed and a sofabed. When we checked in, I found we got a one-bed room suite with kitchen! Very nice surprise and convenient for my family since we have two young kids.
Review 35:Had to stay in tower 1, which was not renovated to have two Queen beds.
Review 36:The ability to take the gondola to the top of the mountain as part of the stay.
Review 37:When checking out the receptionist didn't say anything to me that he will not assist me yet. I am just standing in the counter and his doing something else.
Review 38:It our first time here to celebrate my birthday. We don't know what to expect but we really like the ambiance of the village, clean, very safe and lots of activities to do. This will be my yearly birthday destination ;)
Review 39:Room was very tired, rugs were frayed, couch was ripped, carpet soiled. We were embarrassed to have friends come to our room. Manager acknowledged our concerns and gave us a rebate.
Review 40:Location was great
Review 41:Terrible cheapest toilet paper and Kleenex, you might as well use sand paper. Maid was extremely rude and claimed room service does not involve cleaning just refilling towels and toilet paper, first time I've seen this
Review 42:Standard kitchen with studio, good price
Review 43:4:30 check-in time is too late. We arrived at one annd waited until after 4 for a room. Check-in staff were not overly helpful. Other staff were friendly.
Review 44:Cabriolet was just outside the entrance. Parking (surcharge) was convenient and reasonably priced for the location. Mini kitchen with fridge, microwave, sink and dishwater. Keurig coffee maker
Review 45:I have a electric car... I didn't find wall charger for electric car... I hope they can build soon for us!
Review 46:Very good place. Clean and near of all attraction. Très bien situe. Très propre et près de tous les attractions du village. A recommander!
Review 47:The room was a musty smelling.
Review 48:We stayed in the ground floor condo and enjoyed the back little patio that looked out onto the church and apple trees. It was a pleasant stay, convenient, quiet and the bedroom, living room, kitchen and big bathroom gave us plenty of room to relax in after our days of biking in the National park. We would definitely go back if we got the condo room. The Fairmount was much more expensive for nothing special.
Review 49:We requested an early check-in for noon but got in at 4:30,it was a very humid day. Requested a specific room did not get that either. We realize it is not always available. Only one person at reception alot of people checking in. But it is not always like that.
Review 50:We stay here twice a year once in the summer and once in the fall. Always a pleasant attitude, comfortable atmosphere.
Review 51:Tour 1 has yet to be refurbished and is in desperate need of it. Our room was very old and tattered. Carpet was shredding and the sofa was torn. It really needs an update. Tour 2 has apparently been redone and they are due to start work on this tower this year.
Review 52:We stayed here for 2 days. On the second day I put the sign to make up the room. It supposed finish in the afternoon, but endup the day nobody made it, we used the same towel. No coffee. This is the only thing I didn't like. Hope your staff will pay more attention. Thanks
Review 53:Convenient
Review 54:I prefer to make my own food where possible and not have to spend extra so I really liked the fully stocked kitchen in my room and found it to be well equipped and very comfortable to stay in. I also really enjoyed the hot tub, especially after having completed the Spartan Race.
Review 55:The stove in our suite didn't work which was annoying. There was no breakfast included and considering what we paid it should have been.
Review 56:We got a suite, it was very nice and clean. The hotel also gave us passes for unlimited access to the gandola for the two days that we were there and tickets to the mini golf place.
Review 57:Look out in the parking garage if you you have a ski rack - clearance is sketchy at best - park in the public lot and save yourself the stress if you are driving an SUV with a rack
Review 58:I will not book with this hotel again very disappointed very noisy and dirty room full of cigar smells and cigars on the windows from previous occupancy
Review 59:nothing
Review 60:Kitchen had only four mugs and no dish soap Room had poorly repaired leak damage in ceiling Free wifi is very slow and limited to 200MB
Review 61:Gas fireplace in room Outdoor hot tub Convenient to everything in town
Review 62:The units are dark and the walls are very thin so we had trouble falling a sleep almost every night as you could hear the conversations from the units next door. I would recommend bringing earplugs if you decide to book this place.
Review 63:This property is located right in the village at the bottom of the Cabriolet lift, which whisks you to the base of the mountain in 3 minutes.
Review 64:The wifi didn't work. One of the tvs had been removed and the staff couldn't have cared less. There was no spatula in the room so I couldn't even make breakfast. There were burns in the carpets. The patio door had a massive air leak so I had to run the fireplace 24/7. The furnace fan didn't work nor did the furnace.
Review 65:Relaxation
Review 66:Hotel is right in the pedestrian village next to the cabrela. Clean large 1 bedroom condo. Large bedroom with big closet, large bathroom, great living room lots of Windows and large balcony. Kitchen was fully stocked. Nice gas fireplace. Hot tub was nice perk.
Review 67:Increíble expensive for nothing. Staff unfriendly, not even toilet paper in bathroom. You could sleep because the walls are so thin you hear people walking all night long. Total disaster! First and last time there
Review 68:Booking.com lists the hotel as having king sized beds but it only has queen. We were told that by the staff when we asked to be changed to a king.
Review 69:The cabrlolet taking us to the gondola was really close. Staff were friendly and responsive and the room was nice.
Review 70:It was a bit noisy at times out in the hallway from young kids on a school trip. Our 20 something children had a great time in the hot tub but 'older adults' wouldn't feel comfortable as it was definitely a younger crowd. Hotel is a real price performer so attracts a younger group.
Review 71:Fab location at bottom of cabriolet, large corner 2 bedroom unit with gas fireplace, comfy furniture, 2 tvs, fully equipped kitchen, convenient ski lockers, heated underground parking, outdoor hot tub - it was great! We enjoyed the onsite café which had the best deserts!!
Review 72:Didn't like the hot tub outside to small and very dirty and having to pay for parking when your staying for ore then 2 nights
Review 73:The skiing was amazing and the hotel is in a great spot
Review 74:no service from staff. the bed and cleanliness of our first room was so bad we changed room. the second room was acceptable, but not for the price. Generally very badly maintained. they keep their clean towels in the garage as an example !
Review 75:Good location.
Review 76:I didn't like that they package the Internet offering...come on guys, it's 2015, high speed Internet (wi-fi) should be included in the room price. Also, cleaning need a bit more love. Ensure there's no traces of the previous folks cooking :(
Review 77:Ski-in option is very nice - overall a good place to be.
Review 78:Wifi not so good
Review 79:Staff at front desk excellent service, our fireplace was not working , the handyman came within 5mins of calling , and fixed it , very pleasant
Review 80:Decor and kitchen facilities (oven and kettle) are dated. Some the staff let down the rest of the team; they were rude and unhelpful
Review 81:Very clean but dated facilities. Great location for the slopes and facilities
Review 82:We stayed in the hotel twice so far. We liked everything. We have stayed in many location and hotels in Quebec. This hotel is the first one that met our expectations. I would highly recommend it to everybody.. Trust me you will feel very comfortable there. Greetings ti all people working in the hotel .. Tgank you for there efforts to make us feel happy there. Prices match services perfectly.
Review 83:Our second night there the fire alarm went off at 12 midnight we all evacuated in a timely fusion only to find out it was do to the sprinkler system malfunction The alarm persisted over the next 2 hrs intermittently The next morning no one offered any explains toon or ever a complimentary coffee Poorly handled
Review 84:The location is great. The facility is clean. Could definitely use a facelift . The appearance and maintenance needs a bit of work. I would stay there again
Review 85:Wifi was not working very well being slow and unstable.
Review 86:Nice greeting and information from the reception staff, excellent suite with a nice view to the square and the hill. Great location just at the cabriolet lift. Would love to go back
Review 87:The only two things I could list here was the rug in the living room had some major pulls in it, and there was a long scratch of either red nail polish or Lord forbid..blood, on the wall in the bedroom, Otherwise quite nice.
Review 88:The staff was helpful and pleasant in making some adjustments to our room. At first we were placed directly behind the elevator, and since I'm the lightest sleeper ever...I asked to be moved. They were accommodating and gave us a great room. I asked for a full size coffee maker, and it arrived within minutes. There weren't filters..but then the gentleman appeared with ones he found! bonus. We also had a rollaway bed that came quickly. The kitchen was fully stocked and clean. Our bathroom though not my taste, was clean and well stocked. We had a pleasant view of the mountain. Didn't take part in the Jacuzzi, it was filled with college age kids, let them have fun. Would come back again for sure.
Review 89:Room is badly in need of a renovation. Bathroom door was broken, hangers pulled out of wall. Bed was very uncomfortable and we could not sleep because you can hear everything from your neighbors.
Review 90:Great location of suite at base of village, lots of restaurants around
Review 91:Only complaint was the cooking pans and pots aren't good. Everything sticks no matter what you do. Bring an sos pad.
Review 92:Great location and nice studio room! Nice having the kitchen and fireplace. Staff was friendly and helpful. Heated underground parking was a plus too for a small daily fee.
Review 93:Hot tub was not warm enough to enjoy and we were not refunded the $50 nightly security deposit upon check out, as per agreed-to terms and conditions. In spite of the fact that we left the room in excellent condition.
Review 94:Bilingual, pleasant, informative service with a great location.
Review 95:Kitchen facilities were minimal and some cupboards largely inaccessible.
Review 96:The location, everything was convenient - ski locker, parking, cabriolet, cleaning staff was quick and efficient.
Review 97:Noisy neighbours though that should come as no surprise considering the demographic at Tremblant (teens and university students).
Review 98:Our room had recently been renovated but I think that was the exception to the rule; other rooms in the hotel were not as nice as ours.
Review 99:No room service, asked for more coffee and we had to go outside to reception cause our hotel room was in another wing, they would not bring? kinda sucks for $200 a night, but beside little pickiness it was good.
Review 100:Location is great, room was big enough, little kitchen and fridge helped.
Review 101:Bed a little soft and no breakfast included in the price
Review 102:Large room, fireplace inside the room, k-cup coffee machine in the room, free-wifi and mini-fridge, LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION... you take the little gondola and you're at the bottom of the mountain for skiing :)
Review 103:Housekeeping a joke. They only restock toilet paper and empty bins, dont see the point of that. Lighting in rooms is bad, only small bed lamps to light up room.
Review 104:Great location, close to everything. Warm units, heating worked well, fire place cozy.
Review 105:The pans in the kitchen were terrible. We got this room to cook our own meals and when I called they said there was pots and pans. I wish I knew their condition so I could have brought my own instead of ruining our meals with the pans provided. Our heat didn't work properly in the room. Also our maid never came after the first night, which was frustrating when the garbage was full and didn't know what to do with it.
Review 106:The room set up was very nice especially the fire place. I was able to check in right when I got there at 3:30 with no line up!
Review 107:Kitchen table and chairs are broken room 475. Table hinges pulled through and one of the chairs come apart
Review 108:Having access to parking and ski locker after check-out
Review 109:Arrival didn't begin well, with the hotel trying to charge me substantially more than the price I booked for on Booking.Com, and not being immediately willing to accept the booked price, either. The facilities were a bit corner-cutting - the heating was turned off by housekeeping during the day despite temperatures of -20C, so the room was always cold on return. The sheets weren't long enough for the bed (which was weird - how much does it really save to buy short sheets?!). The sauna and hot tub only worked intermittently. Cleaning didn't include the kitchen, seemingly. And the complementary wifi, whilst speedy enough, was cut off the evening before I left, just as I was trying to check in online for my flight out.
Review 110:Great location right by the village lift up to the cabin up the mountain.
Review 111:If you're a coffee hound, you may want to bring some extra Keurig coffee cups. You can get more from the front desk but they're a dollar each. I'd forgotten how dry electric heat is and wished I'd brought more moisturizers for my skin.
Review 112:The room was charming with a view of the skating rink and church at the edge of the village. The kitchen had everything we needed. The staff were helpful and very pleasant. I would love to return and stay here when I do! The door from the hotel to the cabriolet was not even a minutes walk.
Review 113:The only thing we found was there wasn't enough lighting in the unit, the bedroom was very dark to try and locate items in the closet etc.
Review 114:We loved the comfort of having a full kitchen in our unit along with a full living room and fireplace, having 2 TV's was great when travelling with kids as well and a separate bedroom.
Review 115:The staff was unpleasant, unhelpful and all seemed to have attitudes. The value for what you pay was poor - you're better off staying in the upper village closer to the base of the mountain. The hot tub facilities were small and a little dirty - but at lease each tower of the hotel had it's own hot tub. -there is no reception at Tower II so if you have to get an extra towel or something you have to walk all the way to Tower I
Review 116:The location of this hotel was good, you're really close to the cabriolet. The room had good kitchen facility so you could prepare a snack and warm something up in the microwave.
Review 117:A bit surprised at how mildly dated the interior design was for the money we paid. Staying over new years was a mistake - extremely loud, young people in the neighbouring room and across from us who did not respect the fact that others might want some peace and quiet.
Review 118:View over the lake, cozy fireplace. At Tremblant in general - Outdoor new years party was outstanding!
Review 119:Fire place did not work Not enough toilet paper (1 roll for 3 people) Did not clean the room between days Many burn light bulbs Free but very slow wifi Overcharged me on check out. Had to get a credit.
Review 120:Location Interior parking Full kitchen with all accessories
Review 121:Place is a bit worn and free internet is too slow to be usable.
Review 122:Kitchen facilities were great with a nice fireplace. Location could not be better for skiing. Lockers available for equipment makes it easy.
Review 123:having a full kitchen was great. It would have been nice to have a roll of paper towels and some serviettes.
Review 124:location was great, right next to the cabriolet. Check in staff was friendly and helpful. Room was cozy and clean.
Review 125:We were very disappointed with the man at the front desk when asking for information about the surrounding areas and general info. We found him to be slightly rude.
Review 126:The location of the hotel was fanastic! Walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops and the ski hill!
Review 127:Hot tub was always full and we couldn't take advantage of it
Review 128:Room was very spacious and comfortable. We couldn't have asked for a better location
Review 129:the drunk guy screaming in the hallway from 3 to 4 am. Not the fault of the hotel but still not what I would expect in Tremblant
Review 130:It was a great place in the village. Close to everything. Loved the full kitchen and fireplace.
Review 131:Coffee machine was a capsule type, so you can't bring your own as it is not a regular machine. Sheet in the bed was old (i.e. a hole in it) and hair from previous customers were found in it.
Review 132:Kitchen facility was nice, the location was great, right on the bottom of the mountain
Review 133:I was not informed that the lift up the hill/mountain would not be working until I arived. I was looking forward to going up the hill and was disappointed that it was not running.
Review 134:We always stay here when we go to Tremblant. We made the mistake of staying at another hotel a few weeks ago and was very disappointed. We always get the room we want and they let us check in early. Very pleasant and helpful.
Review 135:It was no big deal, however, we didn't know the coffee machine in the room was a Keurig, as such we could not use the coffee we brought from home (we like coffee). While maid restocked Keurig pods, she did not restock sugar nor the shampoo. Room a bit dated, but with the off-season guest room rate, this was not important.
Review 136:Location excellent, amenities (i.e. gas fireplace, kitchen, utensils etc), clean. Rooms are rustic.
Review 137:Only had 1 vending machine with most choices sold out. No stores open after nightfall so at least chips would have been great.
Review 138:Great location. Excellent value. Parking was right under the building. Fireplace was perfect.
