Review 1：There are no spa towels in the rooms, which is totally unacceptable. When we ask at the reception they told us that we have to take them from the pool and they are not free ?!?!?

Review 7：They gave us room with not quite working electricity device, TV and the door was broken They changed it after we complained. The breakfast was from a menu, cause the hotel was empty (saturday morning) and it was only in bulgarian, and you could take only one thing(not as we payed for buffet table) The sauna was not working until we asked for(friday) The gym is very small They didnt change the sheets Only one elevator works, so when there was an event in the hotel it was very busy.

Review 11：Problems with the check in - they didn't gave me the room that I've booked and the meal options were not the one that I've wanted. However they corrected everything according to my booking. The room desperately needs renovation. It was not clean as well. There was small parking in front of the hotel and a muddy field in the back also called parking. When the hotel was full, parked cars were blocking other cars on the parking. Breakfast meals were finished at 9:00 despite the breakfast is till 10:00. They were not renewed. During the check-in the evening was announced at 18:00, however they opened at 18:30. The TV were horrible and the program selection was worst ever.

Review 13：You have to pay for the parking,for the towles for the SPA nd the shuttle which picks you up from the ski slope decided not to come one of the days,which forced us to walk with the ski on our shoulders to the hotel.

Review 20：The personnel needs more training on how to serve peoples requests, we have been staying without heating the first few days without getting an answer as to why there is no heating. After insisting on telling us if the heating works they provided a electric one for the room.

Review 21：The staff is friendly, but sadly unprofessional. The Christmas dinner was poorly organized, we did not find available table, given that we intenionally booked the late hours to ensure we can go and have dinner when we scheduled it.

Review 22：The spa zone is not the best part of the hotel - it has 2 sauna types, but only one of it was working. If there are a lot of people it`s not comfort to wait 10 minutes to enter. The relax zone is cold and for me there is no reason to stay there. The water in the swimming pool is not so warm, and for winter time is good to be heated more. In the spa there is no water for drinking.

Review 23：It`s nice hotel for a weekend trip. Especially for skiing, it has a room for your equipment, or if you want to rent there is a place to do this. It has a nice shuttle every 20min to the gondola lift and back. The hotel has 2 types of restaurants and the food was good. Of course the breakfast could be improved (cheese and ham/salami sector) but at all is ok. The deluxe room is clean and spacious with balcony and good size bathroom. A small shop is great with drinks and snacks in normal prices. We will come back.

Review 24：- 1 guy from reception really "life frustrated" (verry unwelcoming) - the backdoor for accesing parking lot was closed in the evening and every evening I had to go around hotel to get/put stuff from/in car. - verry high prices in entertainment room - in the hotel the smoking is not permited by Bulgarian Law, BUT, they could have arrange some backside covered smoking area; we had to go outside every time in freezing cold to smoke (some people smoke when they drink their coffee in the morning for example, especially) - verry poor TV sets (on brochure said they had HBO but didn't, only 63 analog channels)

Персонала ползва асансьорите за клиенти. Допълнитеното заплащане на паркинг и хавлия. Neglected rooms, burned flooring, cigarette odour, cold, heating works time to time. Gap on the window and wall. Spa center, sauna, indoor pool starts to be heated when open for customers.Slippery pool floor. Very poor TV sets and quality of programs. Staff is using the elevators for customers. Extra cost for bathrobe and parking.

Review 61：The tiles on the pool side are extremely slippery - so much that our daughter slipped twice and banged her arm. This is a health and safety issue and should be addressed as some one could seriously hurt themselves. We did not use the pool again after this. This is our only criticism of the hotel.

Review 62：This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel. Excellent food, friendly helpful staff all reason why we have returned and don't want to try somewhere else. New games room is excellent addition for children. Lovely spa facilities - especially the relaxation area.

Review 63：I didn't like the rudeness of the reception staff when checking out. I had already paid the hotel in advance and went skiing on the last day, leaving my mum to check out. Yet, when she did try to check out, the receptionist told her that the room had not been paid for and that everyone pays at the desk when checking out. My mum was really alarmed and even felt unwell. Anyway in 5 minutes time, without any further explanation andafter phoning the booking centre in Sofia, the receptionist "simply" told her that the room had indeed been paid. There was not even a hint of apology. Nor did anyone offer my mum help with two heavy cases when leaving the hotel lobby. Very sad indeed as it put a very unpleasant ending to what had otherwise been a pleasant stay in the hotel.

Review 64：We couldn't find the hotel easily. There wasn't an exact address. We had to call the reception to guide us. The room they gave us was cold! Outside was -5 degrees. We had to wait. And the hotel wasn't full - they could have given us another room. Also the Wi-Fi signal was weak. The receptionist wasn't kind enough to cooperate, although they put a warmer in the room. The breakfast was good, but as soon as it got 10:00 they took all the food away.

Review 65：We booked a standard double room and we got "upgraded" to a deluxe twin room. It would be good to have a bigger room but we wanted to have one bed instead of two. When we asked for a change, there was only one room left, which was rather small and apparently a lot of people had smoked in it before that. That was unbearable so we had to go with the first room instead. Other than that everything was great.

Review 66：The staff was very supportive and friendly. We changed the room twice (see in the other section why). The food in the typical Bulgarian restaurant was great. We went for massages and they were really relaxing. The whole environment in the SPA centre makes you feel great. We had a whale of a time.

Review 69：The buffet dinner was nothing special - only few choices. When I askedfor a glass of water, the waiter simply said "No. You mustpay" - unacceptable. If you pay 20 bgn for person for such limiteddinner choices at least they can bring you glass of water! (Or at leastbeing more polite than that). Also, there was a children school group ofabout 50 children so going to the crowded swimming pool was notrecommended!

Review 79：The personal are not at the expected level for 4 star hotel. The waiter is not serving with appropriate cutlery and in the appropriate order. They are not so friendly also. The menu in the restaurant is poor. The soups they offered to us were from the semi-cooked ones that are in the stores. If you expect to eat healthy food, this is not your place. There was no water (cold and hot) in one of the days, that we were there. Don't think you will play billiard there - the billiard table is in narrow place and it is not lighted properly. The location is not good in Borovec. Also they have problems with software, they use.

Review 85：We had a perfect stay. Not in the centre of Borovets but it makes no difference because the hotel provides a constant free shuttle bus to the slopes which takes all of 5 mins. Our room was huge, very clean, always warm and very quiet. The bar had a good atmosphere and is far cheaper for food than the overpriced places in Borovets. The spa has a everything you need to unwind and we could not complain about the breakfast. Really have nothing bad to say about this hotel and would most definitely return.

Review 86：We had a problem when we come to check out. They wanted us to pay somebody elses bill despite us telling them it wasn't in our name. Since we returned we have found that what they charged us for our stay was £200 more than was quoted by booking.com and we have contacted booking.com and await this being resolved

Review 89：Very bad location of hotel, far a way from gondola.In the ski season way of approach to hotel is snow untreated there is no way to drive by car to the parking and noone of the hotel staff doesen't want to help you. Reception staff is totally unprofessional and uninteresting for the guests, don't speak English well and can't give you any information about hotel facilities. Gim doesen't work, swimming pool is too small and water is middy and for all that you have to pay. During the morning, hotel is very bad heated. All rooms face the parking and every morning wake you up car noise, and in the middle of the night a dog barking. Near our window was located kitchen ventilation and awful stench was in the room every time we open a window. There is no ski information in hotel for that day about ski trails wich are open and wich are closed as the information about weather forecast. Breakfast is the same and poor every single day.Cleaning room is disaster. Room made just clean a sink in the bathroom and aligned sheets, nothing else. Exchange of money in hotel has the lowest rate for change Euro to Bulgarian lev comparing to the bank and other hotels closer to the centar of Borovets. I'll never come again with my family to this hotel

Review 90：There is absolutely nothing that I like about this hotel. Total disaster !

Review 91：The room was not clean when we arrived - the bed sheets were dirty andfull of hair, and we had to wait one hour before the maid came to changethem. The room has not been vacuumed for a very long time, and duringour stay the maids only emptied the waste bins. The room was too warm,especially during the night, and there was no way to regulate the heat.The reception ladies were pleasant, but the service was chaotic - theymade several errors in our bills, so we had to constantly check ifeverything was in order. From the hotel facilities only the pool andsauna are included in the room price; everything else is chargedadditionally. The hotel also has a policy of “no food to be taken out ofthe restaurant”, to which they strictly adhere, and thus charge even fora sandwich. Such cases are personally dealt by the general manager, whois rude and knows little about customer care. The hotel also charges 4EUR/day for parking, even though booking.com said it was 2.5. In case ofa heavy snowfall, the guests have to clean the snow themselves to getthe cars out. In addition, due to the heavy snowfall, the hotel hadproblems with water and electricity. Consequently, when departing, wehad to drag the suitcase down the stairs, as the elevator was notoperational. Overall, it was quite an unpleasant experience.

Review 92：Rooms were spacious, comfortable and warm. Food was of good quality anddecent variety (both in the restaurant and the bar). The shuttle to theski slopes functions well. Some staff members were very friendly andexceptionally helpful (the gentleman in the ski storage is an example ofgood customer care). The bar is cozy and WiFi is stable.

Review 95：The spa section is one to be improve. The service is not very helpful,the pool is cold for winter season standards, it might be okay forsummer. You have to take your bath robe and towel from the life guard,on very formal procedure, which is not acceptable - for a few possiblelosses of towels, it's not worth it. It's embarrassing for the guests.And, please, note - you have to take your bathrobe downstairs from thespa, it's not in your room. It's very noisy and bit of crowd at thepool, but as far kids are our major concern and joy, so ... Last, thestaff are doing special health treatments at Turkish bath, but duringthis, no one else can use it, so may be it's not proper to do this inbusy hours.

The location is one to be highlyrecommended if you prefer to be among the pine trees, literally watchingthrough your windows, superb view of the ski slopes of the mountain, andreally, really quiet. The restaurant and bar are well-designed, alsorelaxed (except on breakfasts, of course). The shuttle to the lift-station and center of the resort is pretty convenient.
