Review 1：It would be very helpful if the parking place could have some kind of cover ( in case it snows). Anyway there was nothing we didn't like.

Review 2：We are frequent flyers and we always stay in hotels around airports. This was the first time in Balladins and for sure we will keep it for next time. We were indeed surprised and very pleased with the excellent behavior and professionalism of the staff at the reception. We do recommend this hotel, regarding location, staff/service, price-quality standards.

Review 3：Lights in the hallway seemed to have motion sensors that didnt work or something, had to shine some light with my phone to find the room. Just a minor inconvenience though.

Review 5：Room was a bit small especially if you ask to put a baby cot in it. Absence of own transfer from the airport is also disappoint, especially taking to account close location to the airport.

Breakfast was good enought. On our request personnel arrange the taxi to the city train station for a very good price.

Review 18：This hotel is very purposeful. It is a basic and economical, no frills stay near the airport. The staff are very nice and helpful. We were able to arrange our morning shuttle to the airport the night before( this is basically a taxi not a hotel shuttle in my understanding of one). We got a call to our room at the scheduled time and had our "shuttle" collect us within about five mins. The shower in the room was very good and the price was very much unbeatable

Review 21：The price includes the shuttle to the airport, not the shuttle to come back. Since the airport area is separated from the road and the hotel (just 300 metres away) by a high metallic fence, you will not be allowed to walk from the arrivals area to the hotel on your feet (though it might take just 5 minutes): you will be instead obliged to call for a shuttle and pay additional 8 €. Rooms and blankets are very basic, the service is worth the price if you leave your car at the hotel's parking.

Review 22：The only place where you can park your car around Charleroi Airport without paying a fortune. Staff is kind and helpful. Shuttle service to the airport and secured parking are a strong point.

Review 23：Polite personnel. Clean and comfortable room. At the reception they have a display with scheduled flights (just like the ones in the airport). Shoe polish machine. The shuttle to the airport was a nice taxi with a polite driver. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very well insulated from outside noises (the hotel is very close to the airport).

Review 24：You can't walk from the airport to the hotel. The only way to get to the hotel is by taxi. For us, it was 8€ for two adults and one child. But don't worry, the hotel offers taxis. You just need to call them and tell them where you are.

Review 30：The website is deceibtful. 0.8km is a lie - you cannot walk to the airport, you have to pay $4 each journey via taxi. This was not explained - it simply said shuttles available to airport. Bed was poor. Did not provide pillows, only provided a small cushion for a double bed.

Prices in the restaurant are moderate, but service was bad (it was a rather quiet evening in the restaurant, nevertheless we waited more than 30 minutes for our drinks) and so was the food. Never had so bad spaghetti carbonara except at the university canteen. Other people also left the major parts of their meals untouched. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be another restaurant nearby.

Review 33：Had to wait > 1 hour for a shuttle from the airport. Eventually a taxi was send instead. In the morning shuttle was asked for 4:00, booked for 5:00 and due to other travellers that also problems with the shuttle service (according to drivers because of too much luggage; a couple with two suitcases, what else do they expect from travellers) I managed to travel with another group at 4:30.

We were charged for the two rooms booked ... that's 150 euros for the worst night in a hotel room in memory. Hope never to return to Belgium Charleroi as a result.

Review 57：Walking distance from the airport to hotel wasn't 1 km, as Google maps showed, but 3-4 km instead, because of the fence that surrounds the airport, and you have to go all the way around it to get to hotel.. We chose a short way, jumping over the 2m fence with all our luggage :D Food in the hotel (at least in night hours) is expensive, and not too tasty..

Lettuce wasn't cleaned completely and the fries were sloppy. Genuinely think this was the worst meal I've had abroad. It also wasn't very cheap.

Review 64：Small, but fine rooms for an airport hotel. Good, clean bathroom with big shower space, toilet separated from the bathroom. Everything's clean and fresh. New (?) beds so they're a little hard. Good sound insulation so you can get some sleep even though you're right next to the landing strip. Good and quick shuttle service to the airport (4 euros), departs every half hour. Really good Wi-Fi. Friendly, helpful staff. Good price for a decent room.

While the next day because of our early flight, we book airport transfer(which turns out to be a taxi) from the hotel but it cost us 20euros (5 person). So we were not happy about that but didn't bother us too much cause our focus at that time were just to be on time for our early flight.

I'm used to prices of the south of Europe, what makes a night sleep, that expensive in this part of the country? Traveling from Antwerp railway station takes more than 2 hours and a half.

Review 111：Kept waiting for a table up to 10 minutes, then told to pick any, then had to share a table with a stranger as there were no single tables in the restaurant. Then waited another 20 minutes for the order to be taken. Ordered a well done steak waited another 30 minutes, the steak came out very rare. when I asked for it to be cooked a bit more it took a further 20 minutes. Good hotel pity the restaurant lets it down.
