Review 1：Very disappointed (family deluxe suite) - not well-maintained at all. The hotel owners seem to be interested in getting the guests' money, not in making their stay comfortable. Everything is very dated and dirty. They try to save on everything - such as providing only two towels for four guests. Cheap and very unwelcoming. Parking is organized terribly - other guests' vehicles are parked right next to your window. Overall, anything but deluxe!

Review 3：the room was filthy, the air conditioning was inadequate, disappointing & very overpriced. complained to the owner who offered a discount on a future stay but I said no thanks, I wouldn't stay here again, even if it was free. do not go to this motel.
Review 4：The location was perfect. Also the chalet very enjoyable as we were so private in our own space. Close to a very good restaurant just a few blocks away.

Review 7：The facilities were very old. The price was too high for the facility. He had promised our own personal grill but when we got there it wasn't ready and he had to go get propane before we could make our supper. So we ended up having supper at 8:30

Review 9：I had to argue with the attendant about the reservation. He thought I'd gotten 2 rooms when I had cancelled the second room. He was very hard to convince and I didn't like that.

Review 12：The room had no aircon it was in the lounge. The lounge was old and the couch was dirty. The shower never worked properly, the towels were clean and the bed clean .
Review 13：Some maintenance required. The tiling around the open fire was missing and hence was a potential trip hazard, especially travelling with an elderly mother with poor eyesight. The owners English could have been better, made it a little difficult to get over what you meant.
Review 14：Large cabin. the cooling fan in my room was broken, the owner did try to fix it, but as he could not provided a new working one quickly.
Review 15：It's not that I didn't like it...it was just a surprise. There was a blue porcelain tub in the bathroom. No electrical outlet in the bathroom.
Review 16：The Swiss Chalet is an wonderful place to get the feel of British Columbia. It is not fancy; however, it was clean. The owner/manager was very nice.
Review 17：Liked having the kitchen table. Great we could bring our dog. Good sized fridge. Practical place for us to stay as my daughter is an athlete and travels with her own food.

We cancelled our second night, asked for a discount but Manager said 'No'

Review 80：Over priced for what you got; the property is at least 50 years old andwhile you can see they have tried their best to fix it up, it'sbeen a diy job. A fair price would have been $50/night and we paiddouble that.

Review 84：We didn't arrive until 11pm due to a flight delay and the manager/owner had waited up for us. He showed us to the room switching on lights and drawing curtains which was much appreciated. Bed very comfortable. Basic but clean and good value for the price.
