Hotel The Excelsior sells fast on our site. Offering unobstructed views of the Swiss Alps, the The Excelsior in Arosa was renovated in 2012. The property features a spa area with a sauna and an indoor pool. You can make free use of WiFi access.

Review 1：Small rooms, heavily over priced, old building that's trapped in the past and in need of repair. Annoying large and impractical room keys. Staff not as accommodating as the should be given the price.

From the late night pick up at the train station to the pancakes they made my children for breakfast, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. We loved the kids play room and the food was excellent at their restaurant ( best fondue chinoise). We rented all of our ski/snow board gear at the hotel, which was very convenient. The views from our room were amazing. But most of all, I can't emphasize enough how amazing their staff is. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

Review 19：All around, a wonderful experience. We recommend it highly. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome at this wonderful hotel. The entire staff -- the front desk staff, the restaurant and bar employees, the courtesy van drivers, and the housekeeping staff -- were amazingly friendly and helpful. We were always greeted with smiles. Shortly after arriving, a member of the housekeeping staff delivered apples and cookies to our room. We checked out on Christmas Eve, and a staff member dressed up as Santa Claus to give our daughters a small gift. The courtesy van drivers were always very helpful and friendly in promptly picking us up and helping with skis equipment. Our room was a very comfortable suite, with two separate sleeping areas and two bathrooms. Everything was exceptionally clean, quiet and professional. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices.

Review 25：Our room (207) was clean and comfortable with great views. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the mini bus service to and from the ski lifts very useful.Breakfast was good with a good choice of hot and cold dishes.

Review 26：The whole hotel is very modern apart for the bar and a some terrible live music. Some woman playing elevator music on an electric piano. Everything else was terrific so we were not bothered by this.

Nice large room, modern decorated, stylish, good bed with view at the Arosa mountains. Superb foodquality in the restaurant, evening diners very tasty. With live and wellsuited pianomusic in the background. Also at breakfast large amount of choices to get the day well started. The hotel is located in a quiet part of Arosa, with the village center just a few minutes away. Skislopes also just minutes away. Attentive housekeeping twice a day. The hotel is runned by an energetic and very motivated nice and very friendly couple which shows large enthousiasm, you feel yourself welcome from the start! Simply a hotel which makes work of your Holiday! In every way! And loved the daily Afternoon Tea :-) Absolutely recommend it!

Review 31：Noise traveled too easily from the neighboring room. Luckily i am a deep sleeper, elsewise that would have been a problem. The building is dated, and some of the furnishing choices are of questionable taste. But the atmosphere is nevertheless nice.

Magnificent views,beautiful dining facilities,afternoon tea,warm.cosy rooms and helpful,friendly staff. A short walk into a busy and well - facilitated town with a variey of great restaurants. Transfers to and from ski cable cars by hotel bus. Fabulous buffet breakfasts.

Review 44：Fantastic service, you didn't have to fill forms, or do anything, they had all the information and you could very quickly check in!

Review 45：For some strange reason, the room service did not notice I was running low on bodywash flasks in my bathroom and was not replacing these as quickly as I needed. Of course, this was fixed quickly by bringing it to someone's attention. The pool in winter could be warm rather than room temperature.
