Review 1：In the evenings it smelled about canalisation in our bathroom which wasn't so nice, so we just closed the door during the nights

Review 2：Lovely Place with nice garden, two pools (one with amazing view in the sea and good drinks), Massage treatments and restaurant with sea view (Great breakfast). We had the room Pimenta with a great view from the balcony over the whole area. Located between second and third beach which gives you the great opportunity to spend the evenings in one of the various restaurant/bars at first and second beach and still enjoy during the day the more beautiful and quiet beaches at third and fourth beach (ca 20 min walk)

Review 3：I called Booking.com to complain about the hotel I stayed at which did not allow me to reduce my 3 night stay to 2 nights even though no terms and conditions stated I could not do that. Joshua from Booking.com called the hotel to try and get them to modify my stay, but they refused to because they stated they sold a 3 night package. This was not explicit or stated when I reserved the hotel the terms and conditions for cancellation don't include it either. To top it off the hotel told me they would allow me to reduce my stay to 2 nights when I originally told them my situation and later sent me a note to my door saying they could not do it after all and blamed it on Booking.com which ended up not being true. The wifi didn't work well in my room. The sliding glass door didn't work well and was very difficult to open. The bed was not comfortable. Keep in mind when reading this review that I was paying 2x normal prices because it was a holiday weekend.

Review 6：Nice location a bit away from the tourist hotspots but still close enough to go out. Also close to the beautiful beaches. Nice light breeze rooms, very friendly staff. Beautiful pool and very good breakfast.

Review 7：The main problem with the hotel is that the hotel is overpriced for what it has to offer. Although I must say that the swimming pool is top notch, it is lacking in most other aspects. The rooms are not particularly comfortable. For example, there is no bedside light, which is quite uncomfortable especially if you want to read without bothering the person next to you. Also, there's no towel hanger in the bathroom which means you have to sun dry the towels on the balcony. Toiletries are not even offered...

Review 9：The wifi was sometimes excellent but sometimes non existent , in the lobby it was always great though. Also our room was kinda outdated , unlike other rooms which are newer. As most hotels they didn't really care we were on our honeymoon, like most hotels in Brazil .

Review 11：- experience of the infinity pool was very much ruined by unsupervised children running, jumping, shouting and splashing in the pool - fitness centre...what a joke! Merely a few rusty weights, exercise balls and sponge mats. - no indoor pool as advertised - made a complaint to the manager directly after checking in who advised us that the fitness centre was still under construction. We thought we came to an agreement on a discount but as it transpired he took no action. Only one other member of staff spoke English and we spent much of our final day trying to sort it out as the manager was not on site and seemed impossible for staff to contact. It left a sour taste in our mouths, we felt totally fobbed off - The hotel is overpriced, falsely advertised and the management at top level very disappointing

Review 18：Pousada Minha Louca is the best pousada on the island in terms of location and comfort. The room we stayed in was not huge but a good size, the place was clean, comfortable, the infinity pool over the beach amazing and breakfast was great!

Review 19：The smell from the toilet from the first day was terrible. Despite requesting attention from the staff this problem was not resolved and became overpowering by the last day.

Review 20：when you are paying so much for a hotel the LEAST they can do is offer impecable wifi- It was so poor that I had to try about ten minutes in order to send a simple whatsapp message... they could also pay a little bit more attention to the room- i found a couple of small spiders hanging on my curtains.... that is not acceptable when you are paying so much!

Review 21：breakfast was pretty nice, with tapioca and omelette made fresh for you. during the weekend there was also a delicious quiche. the swimming pool is absolutely amazing, when it comes to design, but could have been cleaner, the water was not exactly transparent and really not the same colour as in the picture---

Review 39：The water in the infinity pool was dirty.(green)needed to be filtered back washed more frequently.Distracting from the romantic atmosphere at the infinity pool were the unaccompanied children using the pool who were jumping, splashing and loud. There were not enough bath towels in circulation , 2 days we had to wait until they went through the dryer to be replaced.There were no beach /pool towels available for us for our first two days.

Review 40：Our room was quiet on second level that looked over the inner garden. It had confortable beds with good quality sheets , a quiet air conditioner, there was good water pressure with lots of hot water. The restaurant had a varied menu. We had two meals there as well as our breakfast.The wine list is limited. The breakfast buffet was varied with fresh fruit, breads, cakes ,puddings and scrambled eggs. The was a tapioca bar that prepared tapioca to your likes. The fish and turtles in the garden pool gave a zen ambience.The bar at the pool made excellent tropical drinks.

Review 42：Excellent everything! Its like a resort, but very personal. Just around the corner from all the bars and restaurants that go on all night but really quiet at night in the rooms. We went there stressed from work and left relaxed and happy! Could not have asked for anything more. Thanks!!

The infinity pool isgreat, especially with a caipirinha from the poolbar in hand. We had a3-persons room with the extra third bed on a semi-open higher floor(vide). This made that the room didnt look stuffed or full as a resultof a third bed which is often the case, but the temperature up therecould get a bit high (luckily there was a good airco).
