Reviews for B&B Le Petit Normand
Review 1:I like the fact that you arrive to the hotel as a guest and suddenly you feel like you are at home because they treat you like a family member. A lovely couple that take care of you and help you through anything that you need.
Review 2:Very close to the location we came for, being the river for photography. After a while the owners became very helpful and friendly Perfect quality of food. We had dinner and shared an extra portion of the main course. The best deer steak I ever ate.
Review 3:Could use a bit of TLC in the en-suite - fixing some wobbly fittings and replacing the silicone around the bath etc. Would also have liked some bigger, newer, softer towels - would have improved the feel of the room.
Review 4:Food was excellent in the attached restaurant - Fri/Sat/Sun nights. Quiet location, yet not far off the motorway, makes it very convenient for those travelling with a car. Had comfortable room, with a balcony, so could sit with a beer looking across the Ardenne.
Review 5:nothing
Review 6:Hospitality Clealiness Room Size Location Propperty Easy Access Breakfast
Review 7:Friendly owners, great food, close to Spa, good walking area
Review 8:location was nice and quiet owners were pleasant and helpful food was good
Review 9:There is nothing that I disliked. Eric and Sandra lovely couple, both spoke perfect english and anything was not too much trouble for them. Amazing location. Very quiet. Food excellent as was the service.
Review 10:Price of wines a bit high.
Review 11:Great location, just near a river and forest, starting point for nice walks.Room very cosy and quiet big! Good bad. Nice couple of owners, very helpful... The restaurant is *****! Just don't eat a lunch before ... it's a lot to eat and hard to resist!
Review 12:In the early morning they wanted to know what we would like to eat inthe evening and to fix one hour for the dinner, which is a little bitearly.. The service during the dinner was a little bit "cold", maybeonly because we didn't take any wine (starting from 30 €...).
Review 13:Le Petit Normabnd is a lovely place with only 3 rooms in the middle ofthe Belgian coutryside. The location is perfect just few km from spa(thermes), Francorchamps and the lovely Fagnes. Our room was big, spacious and very comfortable, the bed was ok and the bathroom was bigenough. Really nice also the breakfast already prepared when we arriveat 9am : fresh croissant, bread, orange juices, marmalade and yogurt.Really good also the dinner we had in the b&B. It's easy also to parkjust in fron of the house. We paid 75 € per night.
Review 14:There are very many porcelain cats about the hotel reflecting the ownes taste.
Review 15:We arrived late but the kitchen stayed on to cook us a delicious meal. The wines were excellent.
Review 16:The restaurant is excellent but in contrast the rooms are in need of a little tlc. The bedding and towels were clean however the wardrobe doors did not shut, some light bulbs were not working, the shower screen needed wedging into position to stop leaks on the floor and several cobwebs were there on our arrival and still there when we left. I feel that the type of people who would be happy with the 'budget style' accommodation would not be the sort who would relish the french cuisine! A case of curtains and carpets not matching!!
Review 17:Run by a Fabulous couple (Sandra and Eric) who are really friendly and able to speak English extremely well. The restaurant offers a limited 'gourmet' choice which is prepared and cooked to exacting standards. The location is ideal in a quiet wooded valley with forest walks/bike trails. It is only a few minutes from Spa, Malmedy and the Francorchamps Race cuircuit.
Review 18:Charming little chambre d'hote/hotel with very friendly and easy goinghusband and wife owners. The room and en suite was surprisingly large, spartan, but well kept. Excellent location for country walks or for racegoers to the circuit at Spa.
Review 19:the owners where lovely, setting wonderful and the food yum
Review 20:Excellent staff . Nothing was too much trouble. Made us feel relaxed and comfortable.
Review 21:Old, no facilities whatsoever, needs renovation, modernisation
Review 22:Location is beautiful
