Review 1：We stayed at the Motel, not the Hotel. The motel rooms are very spacious and clean. In the evening we went to the restaurant which is located in the hotel. The food was really good but the service a bit slow as there were not enough waitresses for the number of guests. The next day we used the ferry to Cote Nord (Baie Comeau). The motel/hotel is located about 2 minutes from the terminal which was great for us too.

Review 7：The rooms are terrible. The walls are paper thin and absolutely everything could be heard, from arguments in French, which I speak fluently although English is my first and preferred language, to loud televisions to questionable athletic endeavours that reoccurred several times before morning. The wifi signal was almost non existent in the hotel but perfect in the parking lot...who needs wifi in the parking lot. The bed was terrible and probably at least 25 years old. Pillows were just as bad. It was impossible to have a shower in the morning as the water was either all hot or all cold never in between. The ventilation was poor and the room very hot. The only way to get any air was to leave the blinds open and I was not about to do that. I travel extensively and have never been met by such poor accommodations other than in hostels and even those were better.

Review 8：The only thing that was good was the food. Even that was messed up. The waiter forgot my soup and expected me to have the main course before the soup and when I finally got the soup is was not a seafood chowder but rather a tomato bisque. There is a huge difference! The breakfast buffet was satisfactory in variety but everything was cold.

Review 10：Location was good. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Compliments to the young waiter who served us at a dinner and breakfast. We all agreed that he was very accommodating and helpful. Excellent meal package. Added bonus: was able to capture the beautiful sunset.

On arrival room not available, offered room away from water for same $ or to upgrade to room with view, but a walkout for additional $43. No shampoo or conditioner in room,... sliding door to bathroom in this upgraded room.

Review 14：View of the St Lawrence,... unable to get into hotel restaurant... as a result went for a nice walk in the local area to discover a nearby fish restaurant - fresh fish, wonderful service, great value for money.

Review 15：There was no aeration. To get some you would've needed to open the fromt and rear door. No A/C. The fridge was so noisy we had to unplug it to be able To sleep.

Review 17：We were expecting to have a room with seaside, but the room was not in the hotel building, it was in the garden. It is more likely a motel not hotel. The bathroom was too old. And we paid for breakfast which was really rely poor. I don't reccomend you to pay for the breakfast. Breakfast was included on the price but they asked us to bill Service fee ? I suppose that it was their tips.

Review 19：The bed was very uncomfortable. neither one of us had a good rest. You need to replace the mattress in 116. and you need to put more pillows in the room.

Review 23：The staff were all most friendly and accommodating. They made us feel welcome and at home. The room was peaceful and very clean. We loved watching the activity on the Saint Lawrence. We were surprised by the variety of choices on the breakfast menu and enjoyed a leisurely meal.

Review 36：We were not able to book dinner at the hotel restaurant at a reasonable hour. We tried on arrival, around 4h00 pm and the earliest time available was 9h00 pm.

He also refused to accept our word and evidence of our room key that we had purchased a meal plan - but had left our ticket in our room. He insisted that we interrupt our dessert to get the chit. This could easily have been avoided by checking with the staff at the nearby front desk.

Review 41：We were in the motel section,very updated and efficient. The hotel has an Excellent chef and servers and our special 4 course meal was high quality. A real treat. The view of the sea is fabulous and our motel room opened onto a deck with chairs and access to the grounds and shore. Bilingual staff are very skilled.
