Review 1：The position was disappointing. We had hoped to be much closer to Old Sozopol, which is beautiful.

Review 2：We enjoyed the swimming pool a lot and the room was excellent. Unfortunately, we had to change our travel plans and the staff were really helpful in enabling us to leave earlier.

Review 3：Very bad odor from the plumbing, a lot of mold on the bathtub curtain, Balcony with a view actually means: seeing the sun light between the buildings you look at, No parking, internet speed 0.45 Mbps. Miles away from 4* , even for Bulgarian standards !

Review 5：Very poor kitchen equipment - no microvawe oven, no sharp knife, just one small pan, 4 plates and glasses and cutlery - nothing more. This is a APART hotel - many guests don't have meal in the hotel and they want to use a kitchen time to time. The hotel needs some renovations and fixtures. Missing doors in the shower (in both bathrooms we had), broken sofa, leaking toilets. Still the same breakfast offer - maybe more kinds of salami/ham, cheese and some spread would be nice. Only one type of tea.

Review 6：We were here for the 2nd time and we were satisfied again. We had apartment with 1 bedroom and living room+kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies with pool view. Great location - just 100m to get right on the beach (across the hotel garden). Just off the shopping strip with many shops, taverns and fast foods. 10 min walk to the old town and the harbour. Large swimming pool with comfortable entrance into the water (good mainly for children) but the water was quite cold in spite of being there in the middle of the summer :) Despite of some negatives regarding the kitchen equipment and breakfast offer this is definetely very nice hotel, on the great place and with nice pool area. I would recommend this hotel as a good choice.

Review 7：The animators were somewhat very industrious&loud but not very professional. The wifi is substandard and as many people need to combine holidays with occasional work that might turn into a problem.

Review 8：Hotel Martinez is a very well managed (congratulations to the management!) hotel with almost anything you need for your family holidays. Clean swimming pool, friendly (especially reception and cleaning) personnel, very close to the seaside (important when with small kids).

Review 13：There are not enough deck chairs by the pool for everyone. Even though it is not allowed to reserve a chair, people leave their towels early in the morning and no one is actually preventing them from doing so. Free parking was guaranteed in the booking, then it appears that it is not guaranteed upon arrival. Also, if you move your car during your stay, it is not guaranteed that you will get a spot when you return. Given that there is a paid parking nearby, one would have thought that the hotel can make an arrangement with the parking and agree reduced fees which can be paid by the hotel to guarantee parking spots for every guest. When staff are asked about something, e.g. Wi-Fi, deck chairs by the pool. they reply that they are only employees and deny responsibility. I found this a bit unprofessional. Facilities are 4* but staff is well below. Some training of staff would benefit the hotel.

Review 14：when I booked I was led to believe that they have parking available- when I got to the location I was told that all the parking of the hotel is full so I need to put my car in a private parking lot....

It is one of the best hotels in Sozopol, right next to the beach and close to lots of restaurants and bars, not far from old city (10min. to walk). The apartment was large with kitchen, living room and two balconies. Staff was friendly and they are talking English and Russian very well. The restaurant is very nice, the breakfast lovely! They have two swimming pools (one indoors).

Review 30：The hotel is good, food is tasty and in abundance, though there is no beach that belongs to the hotel, some of the reviews are omitting this fact. There is only a public beach, not of a high quality.

I like this hotel, will recommend it my friends, but in needs to be careful with the pool at the hotel, our child caught rotovirusnaya infection. Else do not by fastfood on promenade street - it's dangerous for your stomachs. Hotel is comfortable for every age.

Review 43：The hotel is ideally located across the street from the beach. The service is consistenly excellent across the board - reception, amenities, restaurant, cleaning, etc. I could tell the staff was trained professionally how to provide quality service. Food in the restaurant was of very high quality. Finally, the immaculate rose garden in front of the hotel was impressive. Please note: Bulgaria is usually known for terrible customer service and poor amenities, and Martinez stands out as quite the opposite!

Review 78：Exceptionally clean, spacious and well furnished apartment. Very helpful staff. Great facilities. Perfect location and the best hotel breakfast we have ever had - What more can I say?? We upgraded to the Superior 2 bed apartment which was larger than many people's houses with, possibly, the biggest balcony I have ever seen (although pricey by Bulgarian standards, it was great value for money compared to anywhere else in the EU). 1 minute's walk to the beach and 10 minutes to Sozopol old town.

Large outdoor swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds (free for guests) and sun umbrellas. We had spacious apartment with two balconys with pool view, bathroom with bathtub and small kitchen. Staff was very helpful and they did their best to help us with every issue. There were 2 persons preparing programme for children every day (activities during the day and disco in the evening - both very friendly and kind. Overall: nice hotel, good location, good food and definitely good value for money. I did not see any other hotel in sozopol providing the location just by the beach and within reach of the town center.

Review 86：We stayed in Martinez Aparthotel for a family holiday fortnight. We loved absolutely everything in the hotel. The reception staff works flawlessly. Special gratitude to the reception manager Stanimir Delchev who provided quick and exhaustive answers to all our questions even on the booking stage and have organised a change of standard apartment to superior sea view apartment without further reminders and extra payment.The two bedroom family apartment was really huge with spacious terrace and a small balcony, giving enough privacy for each member of a big family.The apartment was cleaned daily and the towels where changed each day too (nice thing - it's allowed to take hotel towels to the beach for a small deposit fee so you don't need to bring your own towels).Soundproof between the rooms is ok, maybe because of the apartment's size, but from outside you may suffer from loud music from numerous cafes and restaurants even with windows closed. I regarded that as a payment for the sea view.We took only breakfast and were completely happy with the contents and quality for the buffet. There were hot dishes like omelette, boiled and fried eggs, sausages, bacon, pancakes, toasts, porridge, also several types of cheese, vegetable starters, fresh vegetables and fruits, muesli, sweet table - so plenty to choose from. We also liked that the restaurant is equipped with baby chairs to greet little visitors.The beach is three minutes away from the hotel just across the pedestrian street along the sea side. Umbrella and chaise longue cost 6 levs each, but you may use your own umbrella or just towel behind the umbrellas lines.The sea was quite disturbed during our stay with quite a waves which was no problem or even fun for adults but wasn't good for the baby.

Review 87：The bathroom was flooded every time when in use and there was water all over the place, as a result of which my 2-year-old daughter slipt and nearly broke her head. The balcony was far from safe for young children which is a big issue and the balcony doors didn't have any keys to lock to keep the children away from harm. There was an unpleasant smell of mould in the kids' club. There is no private beach. Generally children's safety is a big issue and needs improvement. Bottom line, too expensive for what's been offered.

Review 88：Our appartment was spacious and comfortable, apart from some safty issues and bathroom flooding. The staff was polite. The kind's entertainment was good. Breaksast was excellent. Central location near the beach (no private beach though) and all the entertainment and restaurants.
