Review 1：Can't say there is anything bad about this place.

Review 2：I was extremely impressed with this hotel. It was very clean, quiet, spacious and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. While it wasn't a cheap hotel, it was well worth paying a little extra to get an amazing nights sleep. I will certainly stay here again in the future!

Review 3：We were booted out at 5AM because of a water leak. We were looking forward to a leisurely breakfast and maybe an early morning swim. What do you do at 5AM in an unfamiliar town and having to look for someplace to stay.

Review 4：We liked the restaurant and meal we had there, although it was a little noisy when we were eating. We liked the sauna, whirlpool and pool. Overall we would stay there again.

Review 5：Couldn't have a single light turned on over beds, always both. Too bright if one person wanted to read, other wanted to sleep.

Review 7：-because we reserved online thru Booking.com we were told that we could not change our room to an ocean view even though we were willing to pay... -the A/C is controlled by the front desk and shuts down automatically every 2 hours. At first, we could not lower the temp. below 21C., we asked the front desk and that's when we found out that they could set the temp. for us from the control panel in the office. We asked to have it set at 17C. that worked ok, then at 1;00 AM we noticed that the system was shut down, called the front desk and they reset the system. Then every two hours after that the system would automatically shut down. We discovered that we could reset it from the room... needless to say we did not have a good night...

Review 9：Very well located, excellent food at the Cargo's restaurant and pricing very good including wine. Ask for a sea sight room or suite, it will be the top. Firewood on the beach is really great.

Review 10：Other guests smoking on their balconies -- as soon as I opened my balcony door, my room flooded with cigarette smoke. This needs to be stopped. Would have liked a bath tub in a room this expensive.

Review 11：Very clean and quiet. Up to date fixtures. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent location. Room with balcony overlooking the sea is a wonderful feature.

Review 12：When I checked in and walked into my room, there were clothes there! There was a mix up about which room was ours, and I had to let them know about it.

Review 18：I did not enjoy that breakfast finished so early and that lunch was not available. Also I ordered a blanket when I left and when I got home I discovered that it was not the blanket but instead it was the sheet that goes over the matress. I was not happy. I wanted the thick Douillette..

Review 21：Excellent general manager who went out of his way to help and even sourced local crab for our evening meal. Once renovations are complete this will be a great hotel.

Review 22：No "Hello & Welcome" on arrival. No "Thank You and Goodbye" on departure. An employee who saw us unloading 3 big bags parked his trolley in a corner and left instead of helping. The reception staff needs to work on better presentation of hair and dress and perhaps a smile would go a long way.

Review 45：Matane is simply awful, but the Riotel is an oasis in a desert of ugliness. You can have dinner and breakfast at the hotel and never have to go out. Highly recommended.

Review 46：Restaurant worst experience of entire holiday. Mussels arrived cold with gluey sauce. Even after second attempt, still cold. Told problem in kitchen. Mussels also smelled fishy, not fresh? Asked for bowl of French fries for table while we had a drink (4 people) and charged $16.00 just for the fries. Thank goodness they were delicious as unable to eat rest of dinner (mussels)!
