Review 2：Awesome staff, highly informative, flexible, clean, everything is walk able distance. Huge mall near the cross section, rental car service is also near.
Review 3：The room did not have any kind of double security lock. Just a basic door knob with a key very easy to break in from the outside. Kind of old and dirty style.

Review 8：I used to know the previous owners many, many years ago and enjoyed the memories. Also, the staff were all very pleasant and concerned that all was well with us.

We witnessedan altercation between the staff and a customer during the long weekendin Sept. &Amp; granted we don't know the circumstances however theemployee was just shirt of having a fist fight in front of otherpatrons. We also had a few incidents nothing worth speaking of becausethe other staff were so A.a ing I don't want the few flaws toovershadow the great things. However not very customer oriented as justrecently there was something he felt my husband shouldn't be doingand his response was if you do it again were asking you to leave! Theowner witnessed him doing the same work at the building and granted weunderstood the rational behind it however it was not necessary to bringup another employee with u and to state that he was going to ask us toleave. We do also know that the managers and owners are not aware of theway this employee handles customers when there is a difficult customer&/or issues that need to be addressed.
Review 10：We can not say enough about the daytime staff. Really over and above Iwould definetly have to say they were some of the best hotel employeeswe've ever dealt with. Always smiling,always willing to help &honestly very kind. A very clean motel with rooms to suit most needs.Our family had the opportunity to stay here for an extended amount oftime due to some home issues & there are no words too kind to sayabout the staff in the daytime from the house keepers ( which werewonderful, hard working, kind,& always willing to help., From thereceptionist who is equally as professional,kind,& always willing tohelp, not too mention the family staff who run the restaurant( which bythe way is extremely good each & everytime), & the Owner of themotel would often come to work at the motel as well & all we can sayis Hats off to You for such a great Job at turning this place around tobeing such a great little place that our family had to call home forover 5 weeks & we can actually say that it really became ourtemporary little place that had an inviting atmosphere for nit just usas parents but our 3 children as well.
Review 11：Was supposed to have breakfast vouchers included per my booking.com listing but the restaurant was closed for ongoing renovations. Was offered vouchers for later date, but useless as I wasn't going to be in the area to use them.

Review 18：The pool is big and the water warm and we often had it all to ourselves. The staff is friendly and helpful. The picture on the website really showed what the room was like right down to the fridge and microwave. Very clean! Rose Bowl bowling nearby had a great family deal. Lots of restaurants, malls, movie theaters nearby. They even had a Remark Fresh Market just a one minute walk away. Best healthy grocery store ever with awesome ready to eat salads and more.
Review 19：There were quite a few cobwebs on the ceiling. The room needed to be dewebbed. In the morning I found winged ants in the washroom. The mattress was comfortable but lumpy in places. I love a bath at the end of the day and was disappointed to find a shower only. After speaking with the day staff upon check out I will request a room with a bath for my next stay.
Review 20：Since this was a last minute booking due to a migraine, I wasn't sure what to expect. The front desk staff at 10 pm was very friendly,neat and organized. The morning staff was the same. The room was,except for the cobwebs and ants,clean. Comfortable for the most part. I love the fact there was no carpet.I was very comfortable walking around with no shoes on. The restaurant on site is great. Good food lot of it and reasonable. With the $5.00 coupon I received upon check in ibhadca great breakfast for 5 bucks..

If we would have driven by looking for a hotel we would never have stopped, but since we booked on line based on reviews, and we arrived very late, we took what we got. Outside needs some attention to make more attractive. Very no frills, 1 wash cloth, 1 hand towel & 2 bath towels, clothes hanger rod above desk. Would not stay here again, probably consider staying in Detroit, sad to say

We noticed it when I dropped my husband off at the airport so I had to go back to get it. They got up for me at 500am to unlock the door for me to get my phone. The man was great about it. I felt bad waking him up. I would recommend this motel to anyone that needs something clean and affordable.
