Review 2:The view is stunning, the room is well design and the staff is nice too. We had a dinner in their restaurant. It is good and delicious. Will go back definitely.
Review 3:Really very expensive even taking into account where we were.
Review 4:Lovely minimalist décor. Stunning views, both from the room and the restaurant.Amazing surroundings & access to hiking trails. Pretty decent food (for Switzerland). Super helpful staff.
Review 5:waking up at 2,456 meters was like waking up in heaven. Everything is spotless and pristine and of the highest quality. Fixtures, fittings, decor, food, service, staff etc etc Our room was very small but plenty of storage space and the shower room was a good size. The staff were very helpful and made us very welcome. The views of course were exceptional and variety of walks from the hotel were good for all levels of ability. We particularly liked the use of the room key for free travel on buses, cable cars, chair lifts etc when you stay for two nights or more. We certainly made the most of that facility.
Review 6:Rooms are super small but clean and comfortable.
Review 7:Beautiful location. We had a fantastic dinner, expensive but more than worth the value and experience. Would definitely recommend and hope to return again. Front staff were excellent.
Review 8:The view from the hotel, the staff, the guest rooms and breakfast were awesome. The person in charge of breakfast was so attentive too. Great customer service. I am glad I decided to stay at this hotel instead of St. Moritz area. We missed the 8:15am funicular and the next one was at 8:45am. I begged the receptionist if she can talk to the funicular operator so he can take us down so we can catch the 8:53 am train. Luckily whoever was in charged of the funicular agreed. I offered to pay but they didn't charge us. I want to thank the receptionist, the person in charge of the funicular and the funicular operator that we made it to the train station by 2 minutes. Thank you so much. Appreciated your great customer service. If we missed that train - we would have missed the last train to Monaco. I will definitely stay again at this hotel. Highly recommended.
Review 9:The room was quite tight, but really we didn't spend much time there as the view and surrounds were so amazing!
Review 10:The location is amazing! All the meals we ate there were exceptional, although quite expensive. The staff were outstanding, extremely helpful and pleasant.
Review 11:Restaurant was expensive - we arrived on a Wednesday and would have loved to have been booked into the BBQ held on Wednesday evenings. Think we could have been advised of this option (fully booked when we arrived) in advance.
Review 12:Location, location, location
Review 13:No real bad experience, just a small issue with the pillows which were too soft for us. :) Otherwise, it's perfect!
Review 14:The location is perfect! You can start hiking before everyone else.
Review 15:The first day we arrived, the elevator/lift was broken. This was a problem for us since one of us had injured our foot and was using crutches. We managed, but it would have been absolutely inaccessible for someone in a wheelchair.
Review 16:Friendly staff, beautiful location, and the best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel! Anne-Pierre went out of her way to help us find a good restaurant and get to the train station on time the morning we checked out.
Review 17:The food is very expensive up there, even more than the usual Swiss price .
Review 18:A room with a view. The most gorgeous scenery from every direction. Well worth the effort to get up there and they gave us free travel passes even though we only stayed one night.
Review 19:None
Review 20:The location on top of the mountain overlooking all St. Moritz , Samedan and many more including the alps of the engadin valley is absolutely superb. The room is clean , just the right size with a good view and bed is comfortable. The staff was helpful. The open restaurant was great and its nice just to lounge around there .
Review 21:Surprisgly their wasn't a comfortable lounge to sit and relax in.
Review 22:Staff were so helpful. Hotel provided free passes not only on funicular to access the hotel, but on local trains and buses.
Review 23:Why on earth is the "gemuseteller" (vegetable plate) so bland? And the most expensive thing on the veggie menu? Weird.
Review 24:Unbelievable views from every window you look! We had a beautifully sunny day and it was stunning. Nice walks around, and good restaurant. Cool ride up a funicular to get there as well. Recommended for romantic getaways.
Review 25:Nothing
Review 26:This hotel is a little on the pricey side, but you will never stay in another place like it. The restaurant again a little expensive (meal for two 150-250CF) but really good and did I mention the view? You overlook a beautiful ski town from above the tree line in the mountains. The facility is really nice very energy conscious.
Review 27:We arrived on the Bernina Express, stayed overnight, and left in the morning to catch the Glacier Express. Absolutely brilliant location; great food in the restaurant, fantastic facilities. We had a great time.
Review 28:View, mountains, breakfast! Outstanding! There is no doubt that a excellent vacation choice for people who like to walk in mountains, to enjoy beautiful natural view with outstanding gastronomy. We surely will go for longer than 2 days (this time).
Review 29:Visitors should be aware of the high altitude (2500m) and the tram ride to the hotel may be an issue for people with fear of heights. Trams run 0745-2100 only
Review 30:Spectacular view. Excellent lunch and dinner options in cafe and restaurant. Staff are fantastic and speak multiple languages comfortably.
Review 31:A spa/ hot tub would be an added bonus.
Review 32:The staff were friendly and helpful, the restaurant nice- but really it's all about the views..this is a magnificent place to stay.
Review 33:The location, the funicular to the hotel, the warm and friendly welcome, the free tickets for funicular and local railways, and the magnificent views.
Review 34:Strange attitude of the staff. We were automatically booked into, frankly overpriced, restaurant. We asked about the BBQ that was advertised for the evening and was told that as we hadn't booked it we couldn't have that. In the end we were allowed the BBQ, but I didn't feel at ease with the way id was handled, as If we had done something wrong. Simple solution, would be to email people that have booked into the hotel and explain the need to decide what they would like for the evening meal and book them in accordingly. This was the only thing that was a problem. The food in the end was excellent and I would definitely go back again.
Review 35:Beautiful views down the valley to the lake of St Moritz and beyond. Fantastic for walking and getting away from everything.
Review 36:A-maze-ing! We were on top of the world, with the friendliest staff, delicious food and most beautiful views. Highly recommended.

Review 66:The view is sensational. Walking is great. Saw marmots which I'd always wanted. Loads of wild flowers. Room very comfortable. Wifi excellent. Needed to send 40 MB to my office - no problem. Delicious dinner. Magical place.
Review 67:Nothing!
Review 68:A prefect getaway with fabulous views of the Upper Engadin, its own cable railway and a sporting tobogganing route to the valley. The food was wonderful (both dinner and breakfast) and the staff attentive. The new rooms are very well designed and the atmosphere relaxing.
Review 69:Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Please note, that reservation of a mountain-view table in the restaurant requires booking as soon as possible- preferably alongside with room booking :-)
Review 70:A little bit pricey, we went in mid January and the room was a cold, but they provide us with a heater and we enjoyed our stay there
Review 71:The food is excellent, the view is amazing. Really friendly stuff, u have the pass for the train for free and as well for renting the sledge. They have an amazing sledge track from the hotel(top of the mountain)downhill
Review 72:Funicular left us and went... & becoz of that we missed the glacier express... All of this for being just a minute late.
Review 73:Sledging& location& service... Infact everythng
Review 74:On warm and sunny days, especially on weekends, the crowds must be swarming all over the place. If you can, avoid weekends and public holidays.
Review 75:The solitude, proximity to mountains and yet pleasant, modern, comfortable and well designed rooms.
Review 76:The staff were excellent and went out of their way to help us and make us feel welcome. The location and scenery were amazing. We loved it, and hope to come back some day with our family.
Review 77:Would like to see the information book and menu with English wouldbe helpful
Review 78:This pk#ce is magic, fantastic views, great accommodation, price forSwitzerland is great value. Staff very helpful
Review 79:Could be bit chilly in the room but it was -17 outside!
Review 80:The travel to the hotel was very easy. At Zurich airport we went to theticket counter and we were able to book a return ticket to muottasmuragl from there. This is three trains that were seamless in theirconnections. A tip here is to ask for the panoramic carriage in 2ndclass for the chur to Samedan leg. The upgrade was only minimal think5pp and the views and photo opportunities were amazing from thiscarriage! The final train from Samedan be sure to press the request stopbutton when you get on the train and it's one stop to where you needto be. Unless you press it the train will go past as its a request onlystation. When you get off the train walk up the slope and you are at thefunincular station (3 minutes)This takes you up the mountain and our room key and funincular pass were left for us at the bottom of the funincular (very efficient and streamlined process). The view on the way up is beautiful snowy picture! We had booked a superior room with views over the lake. When waking up on a morning and looking out of the window it never failed to make us smile! I don't think we have ever stayed anywhere with such simply stunning picture perfect views! The toiletries provided were plentiful and the shower was lovely and hot. It was between -4 and -18 outside when we were there. If there was one thing we would change it would have been to have the room a little warmer. But only a small thing and everything else was near perfect! The breakfast (included) was tasty, varied and plentiful. We ate in the main restaurant a few nights, again the staff were warm, personable and efficient and the food of excellent standard, the steak was amazing! A tip is to book the Thursday night fondue evening in the scala restaurant. The restaurant was candlelit and romantic, the fondue good fun and tasty. As it was our anniversary break we were also given free scrumptious deserts a lovely gesture! Again the service was superior and we were well looked after.
Review 81:location. this hotel is perfect. a must visit hotel.
Review 82:Expensive dinner
Review 83:Beautiful position, magnificent views with lovely funicular ride up to hotel
Review 84:The view!
