Review 1：- thin walls, if somebody watched TV at the next room, you couldn`t sleep - no fridge on the room, which is a little hard with a baby if you need to keep some food cool

Review 3：I would like to express my thanks to the morning wait staff in particular they are very attentive and remembered requests without prompting. I am lactose intolerant and asked if they had lactose free milk on the first morning which was quickly arranged for me and arrived at the table each morning. Thanks to all the wait staff this kind of service goes a long way.

Review 4：Excellent reception, where we got a lot of useful tips for hiking in the mountains, and where we got the lift pass valid around the Engadin valley during our two-night stay! The building is not overly renovated, retaining an authentic classic style, especially the grand dining/breakfast hall, with a great view across the valley to the mountains.

Review 5：Several years ago we were going to stay in St Moritz, but it was all booked up, so this was the closest we could find. Only 9 minutes by train to St Moritz. We love it and have coming here ever since. Charming grand dame of a hotel, well maintained. Highly recommend the half board. Multilingual attentive and welcoming staff. Easy walk to/from the train station.

Review 27：It's perfect for those who travel by car and want to ski in St. Moritz as you can stay in a great quality hotel in a reasonable price (the same quality in St. Moritz would be probably much more expensive). The room was very cosy and comfortable with a lovely view to the mountains and the village. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very busy but it's because the food was great.

Review 28：The staff were so helpful from the moment we stepped inside the hotel. The bedroom was just as I'd hoped it would be, clean and spacious. And we are still talking about the breakfasts - such a wonderful choice of food set out in a beautiful room.

Review 29：Wifi requires sign-in each time you come/go, and does not work in restaurant. Shower head placement is quite awkward being over the spouts and very high (even for a tall person) and water pours out of shower onto floor.

Review 30：Bus stop just outside to take you to both downhill and cross-country ski areas (and very close to main train station) . Also, cross-country tracks within walking distance. Close to Samedan Mineral bath and spa. Restaurant/trattoria was great and the staff were very friendly and made me (as a solo traveler) feel right at home. Front desk staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks for the room upgrade and the great stay!

Review 35：The hotel is very nice, has a character to it, was clean, the staff was lovely and very helpful. The dining area was also awesome with lovely views. The hotel location is just 100 mts. from the train station which is very handy. Recomend their restaurant.

Review 36：Reception generally closes at 11 PM which is not good if you arrive late at night as there is no one to help with the bags. No tea/coffee facilities in the room, but this is probably not uncommon in Europe as they like the extra revenue from room service. No bathrobes or slippers unless specifically requested. In Dubai even serviced apartments provide luxury bathrobes and slippers…...I guess we have been spoiled. Hotel toiletries are quite basic. I am guessing in Europe it is not too difficult to get 4* ratings for a property. In Dubai this would probably be closer to a 2-3* property.

Review 37：We arrived very late and unfortunately the reception was closed. The person answering the phone was probably the only hotel employee who did not speak any English and was unable to give us directions to the hotel. Had to find it on our own at 12.30 AM. In several European countries they have do not have the concept of King sized beds and bed linen. We had twin beds pushed together and two single duvets which is not ideal for a couple. The staff however, were extremely nice and friendly and did all they could to make our stay pleasant. Breakfast was served in a lovely sunny room with views of the mountains. The bathroom was very large with a huge tub and jacuzzi. The hot water was at high pressure and plentiful. It was great for invigorating showers after a day out in the cold. We could connect to the hotel wifi and that was nice for using the laptop even though we had a very nice data package for our locally purchased SIMs from Yallo.

Review 58：The hotel was very clean, the room was spacious. Many restaurants around the hotel. Supermarkets are just a few minutes by car. I really like the breakfast for its food and the breakfast room were very nice and had a very nice view all around. The staff were very friendly, helpful and they responded quite fast. The hotel also comes with the pass card to go up to the mountain for skiing for free (one pass card for the cable car to the mountain cost around 30 chf).
