Review 1：We travel with very expensive bikes & requested secure storage. The storage was a side garden with a low gate with a very insecure lock. There was no one present on arrival. Man came on a bike to check us in. Breakfast was a lot to be desired & hygiene standard was low.

Review 3：Incredibly rude man who owns the place. He attempted to make my roommate pay 50 extra euro for two nights for no apparent reason and without explanation despite the rate that had be set in writing at the beginning of the stay. When I confronted him about it he was very rude and did not offer a refund. Over all I would say that I would not trust this hotel as a foreign traveler because there is a chance your rate can be increased massively without notice.
Review 4：The hotel is a bit old and it took a while to figure out the shower which wasn't working properly. We also had to call for someone to come and let us in because there was no one there when we arrived around 6 pm.
Review 5：The location is awesome. Just meters away from the Kusttram station Westende Bad and a couple of blocks away from the beach. Tons of restaurants and shops in the vicinity. Breakfast was also very good.
Review 6：When we arrived at 4 p.m. the doors were locked; we rang and rang the bell, no result. Then we called the mobile number on the door: 10 mins later, owner came pedalling up. He was not welcoming. We filled in the forms and asked us to pay cash in advance. When we reached the room, we found the shower in a cupboard, the toilet in another. In the toilet the piping and radiator were rusty and filthy. The handbasin escape was not protected by a grille and was black inside; you could almost see the germs. Had we not known that all other hotels were full this weekend, we would have left immediately. This is a rooming house, not a hotel.
Review 7：Bedroom sufficiently clean, comfortable bed. Efficient heating.
Review 8：- room was cramped (unlike suggested in Internet photos) - WC door was an old rusty bi-fold metal door with lots of sharp edges and which opened and closed with difficulty - curtains were in tatters - toilet paper roll holder was on the WC floor in pieces - the bath water temperature and flow varied up and down without warning - the room was musty and not clean - the breakfast table was not to Belgian standards
