Review 1：This is such a picky detail, but the two small jacuzzi tubs in the wellness center were...a bit odd. I would have preferred one larger tub. But for those that prefer newly sanitized water and not sharing your jacuzzi with anyone else you will love it. The sauna and steam room were highlights!

Review 2：What an amazing gem! We had a wonderful stay in a superior double room. We have stayed in four other hotels in Zermatt (and this place has some great hotels) and I think this was my favorite room. The balcony was amazing, with Matterhorn views. The room was large with beautiful local wood throughout, warm earth tones and lavish mocha bath towels. The details were perfection from ample nespresso capsules, to a selection of hot tea, to amazing bath products with a refreshing scent. The breakfast was huge with cooked to order eggs, prosseco and local meats, cheese, honey, jam and smoothies. You could also make your own fresh squeezed orange, grapefruit or lemon added in, juice. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Review 9：I like to chill in my room during some moments of my stay. There was no "do not disturb sign" so I locked the door with the key from the inside. Because the room is checked multiple times a day I occasionally was woken up by the maid trying to open up the door.

Review 10：Very clean. Very friendly staff, always ready to help you. Large single room. Just outside the town center so no busy street but everything nearby. Fast and stable wifi everywhere in the building.

Review 11：Booking.com's rules about no-shows. My wife's father took ill and later died at the time when she was meant to come to Switzerland, so she missed out on the Chesa Valese stay. Even so, Booking.com's rules (not the hotel's) are: no refunds.

Review 12：The staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful, which made the stay stress-free and comfortable. The rooms were clean and tidy. The facilities were excellent. Very little street noise.

Review 31：A very nice hotel with well furnished comfortable rooms and specious bathrooms. My room (for 2 nights i.e, 12th - 14th Nov.) had a balcony providing spectacular view of Matterhorn. All the staff members were very friendly, polite and helpful. The location is also quite perfect as one can reach everywhere within 5-10 minutes by foot. Moreover, the hotel arranges free transport by electric cars to and from the train station, which is very useful particularly when you are travelling with heavy luggage. Review 38：We almost had the hotel to ourself, it was very quiet, and cosy...the view was amazing...I feel in love with Zermatt...the walk to the chair lift was a mission...there is a main bus across the bridge but be prepared to walk in Zermatt

Review 39：There was only one lady working the entire hotel (other than the housekeeping lady) - she was receptionist, bell boy, breakfast incharge, everything. The hotel was sparsely populated as we were there Mon-Wed (when Matterhorn visits are limited).
