Review 1：The Hotel Platani 2 is very well located, on the main square in the centre of the city. As you step outside, you can enjoy the vibrant morning market and enjoy sitting at one of the many cafes. It is a 5 minutes walk to the old town and some of the major attractions. We had a twin room which was very clean and spacious but in need of some maintenance. It was not possible to open or close the curtains as the chain was broken. The vent above the door was partly hanging and the paint was peeled off on the side of the door. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet with its selection of foods. Dinner alfresco at the hotel restaurant in the main square was excellent.

Review 2：Trebinje is a beautiful little city, perfect for strolling around, and well worth the trip from Dubrovnik or Montenegro. The Hotel Platani is wonderful. Quite a fancy hotel for the very reasonable price, and the setting is wonderful with a lovely plaza outside where you can have a coffee or beer or a meal and the old walled city just a block away. The staff was wonderful, helpful and friendly, and the prices at the hotel or in town in general were just unbeatable. A true bargain vacation spot that feels like so much more.

Review 3：More comfortable details in the room like working curtain hangers, all ceiling lamps shall work. It'll be great to add or replace pillows on the bed.

Review 5：Lovely hotel in superb location. Staff treated us like VIPs, popped out with me in the car to the parking, had reserved tables for guests in the evening. We ate here too and food was great, I'm veggie, husband isn't! Local wine and beer good too. Highly recommended.

Review 9：Perfectly situated hotel in the heart of Trebinje's beauty. Very kind staff. Big rooms. Especially enjoyable breakfast time outside, on a square shared with a famous, vivid green market. Special flavor came from the presence of several prominent hotel guests, including Monica Bellucci and Emir Kusturica, who used the hotel over several months as a basis for film making in the traditional and exotic surrounding landscape.

Review 19：Hotel Platani is incredibly well located on the square in the centre of town. Dinner was fabulous followed the next morning with a delicious breakfast served by the friendliest of staff. Our room was beautiful with the most comfortable bed in Bosnia, so far. Well worth an overnight as we couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Review 20：We couldn't get the AC to work no matter what we did including making sure all windows were shut, etc. There also was a leak in our ceiling which dripped off and on and we noticed that the hotel had put a vase underneath it so they obviously know about it.

All the staff were very helpful and one was very proactive in helping me when I was looking at the Cyrillic alphabet as to whether I was at the right hotel ! Very nice good food, served in the open air and superb rooms as well. This is a hotel I could not recommend too highly. A must if you are visiting Trebinje

Review 80：The first room we were put in smelled of stale food; we changed and only some of the lights in the second room worked; the third room was ok. Unfriendly and unprofessional staff. We were the only guests waiting for a drink outside in the evening. We waited 10 minutes to be served, gave up and went next door! Don't bother with breakfast - buy some pastries from the baker on the square and have them with a lovely coffee in a cafe - much better value for money. You might even get a smile...
