Located 20 miles from Herceg Novi and 18 miles from Dubrovnik, the hotel is an ideal starting point for various short visits to nearby cities and villages on the Adriatic Coast. The Mediterranean-style property is also well-suited for sports teams, student excursions and organized tourist groups.
The 2 on site restaurants offer local and international cuisine and a rich selection of beverages, including excellent local wines. There is an air-conditioned restaurant on the first floor, which seats up to 200 people. It also has a terrace open in summer; on the third floor there is a restaurant for 86 people.

Review 2：Everything was great. We were offered a suite at the standard room rate. Breakfasts were generous including free extra coffees, and packed sandwiches for us when we had to catch an early morning bus. Despite the Christmas holiday, the hotel remained fully functional, while everything else in the town was closed.

Review 13：Clean, cheap and spacious rooms in hotel that looks like it was built in the 'old days' and is now trying hard. Carpet in room is literally from the 1970's. Appalling breakfast. Room clean bathroom immaculate. I got a suite for 50 euros with balcony. Easy to find in center of town. They will ask to keep you passports while you stay. I told them to take a copy. They did.

Review 17：I traveled for almost 9 weeks. During that time almost all of my stays were at hotels, hostels, b & bs, etc. Hotel Leotar had many staff who did not know any English which caused several problems for me in the dining room but I managed. The food was good but not very warm. I had 1 dinner and the buffet breakfast. Even the front desk staff did not know English very well and often answered a question that I did not even ask rather than the one that I had asked. It seemed more like a hotel for business people and did not seem like a friendly place.

Review 20：The staff is kind, very helpful and adjusts easily to a challenging booking situation. Very eager to make our stay a pleasant experience, while going out of their way, but within reason. I would go back anytime.

Review 21：No lift in the hotel makes moving suitcases around a bit more of a hassle. Very loud discos/clubs in the vicinity of the hotel made the evening rather noisy.

Review 22：The location on the edge of the river and close to the old town is good. The room we got was comfortable and very large for the cost and the restaurant was very cheap. All in all it was a bit of surreal stay - the hotel feels like it hasn't ever come properly out of the cold war times and is grand but lacking in facilities. However it is pleasant enough and certainly a good place to stay in a surprisingly pleasant town.

Review 54：Although there was some little things that bothered me the hotel is for this part of the world quite OK. First, the stuff is very helpful and nice, second, the location of the hotel is very good (this is meant as a location in the city (the center) as well as good choice for visiting nearby cities (Dubrovnik, Mostar, Sutjeska, Peljašac, NW Montenegro,…)), and third, price/performance is, in my opinion, very good. All in all, good choice if you're asking to stay in this part of the region which is worth visiting it! Trebinje is the nicest city in BIH!

Review 64：The location is very easy to find. The room we have is a suite with sitting room. The bathroom is huge. The hotel does not has lift but the staff help you to carry luggages. Room is clean and very comfortable. Wifi signal is the strongest we have experienced so far.

Review 66：The rooms are a terrific value. Our suite was half the price we expected from our stays in Croatia and Montenegro, and had a sofa bed, large bedroom, and huge bathroom. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. There's a huge selection of good food at the restaurant, and the complementary breakfast buffet was average. It's a 5 minute walk to the old city of Trebinje with many cafes and restaurants.

Review 67：1-Location... just perfect.. close to everything, you don't need to use a car. 2- Building ... the hotel is very beautiful and it is very very clean.. the interior is modern and stylish. 3- Rooms... the rooms are very spacious . 4- The parking in the room price is very convenient if you are voming by car. The recently-refurbished rooms were clean and very comfortable. The manned car park was also useful, for a hotel in the centre of town, overlooking the main river and bridges. We would definitely stay here again.

Review 70：Old style, classy hotel, big rooms. On the river bank, opposite from city center, huge terace. Suite from two rooms and huge bed for 60 Euros ! Less than one hour from Dubrovnik, and approximataly one Hor from Ostrog monastery. Fantastic wine cellars and chip quality wine. Real suprise tp find piece of Tiscany in Hercegovina

Review 71：Poor service from staff, if you wanted to ask something at yhe reception they wore always on the phone and talked to you aswell. Breakfest was ok but if you came later there was not much left. The breakfast was until 10:00. If we came 9:30 they already started to clean up and take away the breakfast. There was never coffee when we came to eat breakfast. ...there was no coffee machine..the made coffee and it was not tasty. In the room which was a suit we had lots of ants. It would be good to have a "do not disturb" sign in the room. Even if we locked the room the housekeeper could come in while we were sleeping.

From checking in, to the shirt I needed to be pressed, to the taxi to the airport early in the morning, to paying my bill, and for every time I went in and out of the hotel I was greeted with a smile and hello.
