Review 1：The staff were amazing - friendly, informative and willing to assist. The hotel may be a little dated but we immediately felt comfortable and relaxed in the room. Having the view over the lake was exceptional. The hotel on New Year's Eve went to an enormous effort, which made us feel special and the night was entertaining and very enjoyable. Similarly, the following night with the large firework display. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed a memorable stay at the Palace

Review 2：The room rate is high. The bed is not comfortable. and it is little far way from shopping area around ten minute walk from the hotel.

Review 3：The location was excellent on the lake. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room size was acceptable. The interconnection room facilities provided to us was not too good as one should climb the stair from one room to other. The room was one above the other with internal stair connection between them. Even the hotel had interconnection rooms on same floor.

Review 77：From the pics on the website, I thought the spa would have more to it. It seems that you can reserve private spa sessions, but there's really nothing else. They should make it larger and upgrade it to be more like a spa where you could hang all day doing different treatments - maybe add a hot pool or something. Didn't seem like it was up to par with the grandeur of the hotel.

Review 79：Small work out room for a 5 star facility. Had dinner one night in Jasper's. Gourmet style (small portion with fancy presentation) was way overpriced. Had dinner one night at Chimneys steak house. Food,quality and price far superior to Jasper's. Personally after a strenuous day of sight seeing and hiking in the mountains I would much rather have a hearty roast dinner with meat, roasted potatoes and vegetables.

Review 81：An outstanding hotel with very friendly service. We enjoyed everything. The room was big and beautiful and had a great view of the lake. You must have a meal at the Jasper Restaurant in the hotel; it is superb. The public rooms are lovely. A great stay.

Review 82：Location, very clean, our dog was very welcome - for extra charge, but they provided bed and toys for him. Water for dog was waiting in the room, that was very nice:). They also upgraded our room to lake view and we got early check in as room was available with no extra cost. Very good impressions...

They were vivacious, but at the same time very professional. The tour desk staff were also the same, pointing us in the right direction. We loved the walk along the lake to get to and from the station and also the access to the different parts of your beautiful Luzern.

Review 93：Sometimes after hiking the mountains you are tired. It might be nice to have a complimentary services that drops you into the center of Lucern rather than take the bus or cab. No big deal though it is only 10 minute walk.

Review 94：They attended to every need during our stay. The view of the lake is perfect. The rooms are luxurious. Make sure you sit at the Bar at night and have a drink. The Bar Manager is really very nice and a pleasure to talk to at the end of the day.

Review 95：The Palace was a very comfortable place to base ourselves for a week.Yes, it's expensive, but Switzerland is expensive. The staff wasvery helpful, suggesting hiking options, making dinner reservations evenbefore we had arrived, giving us bags of towels and sunscreen to takeswimming, etc. I would love to stay here again!

Review 96：Central heating turned off automatically if outside temperature went below a certain degree. The room became too hot and woke us up. We were not able to over-ride this automatic cut- off.

Review 98：It was expensive. The maid service one one occasion did not provideprompt service and it appeared that our please make up the room sign wasflipped over to the do not disturb sign. We were then disturbed by maidservice at dinner time. It seemed like there were a couple of oddvariations in how the staff functioned during our stay.

Review 100：I was checking in at midnight, i can understand it might be hard to remain working in a good mood at that time, but the night auditor was, if i may say, disappointing. Messy hair, tended to be very detached from her work. Sound proof system need to be improved: I can her my neighbor next door snoring loud... thats just...embarrassing and even a bit awful since basically i just wanted to have a good sleep.

Review 101：Good location, that's one of my favorite areas of the town. Concierge and morning shift staff are extremely friendly and helpful . They are considerate but not too over. Very confortable bed .

Review 102：the room furniture was old deco and not tastefully done. The mattress was uncomfortable and it was not a real king bed, but two twins put together. The buffet breakfast was outrageously overpriced. But, I guess everything in Switzerland is!

Review 104：The two women waiters at the bar made our visit a little less pleasant. We were sitting before the large number of other guest started to arrive. The two ladies just looked us. I had eye contact. They just looked the the table and the us. I Had to ask for our drinks. The I noticed that other guests ha nibble food. I ask the nibbles, of offered to buy the nibbles and then they served us. They ruined our stay. The hotel like theirs in Lacano showed us how service at the bar is show be. 5 star hotel and ask to be served? sme on these two ladies.

Review 115：The rooms are a bit dated, circa 1984. We did however like that you could listen to the radio in the bathroom, through the overhead speakers connected to the TV. Although old(er), the hotel has/d an antiquated, old-world feeling. It felt like taking s step back in time. The drinks in the lounge are pricy. We paid 90 CHF for 2 Jack & Cokes + an extra Jack afterwards to mix with our leftover Cokes. Never have I ever paid so much for 1.5 drinks. There was a live piano player, but 90 CHF? I felt fleeced. Although my husband slept like a log, I found the bed (like most all Swiss beds) rock hard. I prefer polyester filled pillows as they offer more support, but all they had were down filled. I suffer from a bad back and sleeping on this bed for two nights sent me into a bit of a downward tizzy which I am still paying for 3 days later. I am, however, sensitive to hard beds and flat pillows. Next time (if we go again, which I hope we do!) I will be sure to ask for extra padding on the bed and will bring my own pillow.

Review 116：My husband and I live in Zürich; we took a mini-city-break to get away, just for the weekend. We wanted to spoil ourselves and we did just that. The staff were SUPER friendly and overly obliging. No request was too small. Our room, located on the 6th floor, had a stunning view of the lake. We liked the turn-down service each night. They put little cookies on our pillow one night and pralines the next. Every day brought different fresh fruit: upon check in were apples, Saturday brought pears and Sunday were kiwis. Yum! Despite churches being everywhere, we only heard bells once, 9am on Sunday morning. We ate dinner Saturday night at the in-house restaurant, Jasper's. It was absolutely DELISH! After dinner we headed next door to the casino for a bit of gambling. The casino was a lot smaller than anticipated, given the size of the building from the outside. We had fun, nonetheless, at the non-smoking Blackjack table. Before leaving we indulged in the Sunday Brunch. 65 CHF per person is TOTALLY worth it! What a spread: they had fruits, breads, yogurts, cheeses, salmon, salads, soups, a roast, gnocchi, fish ratatouille, veggies, desserts, fruit juices, coffees and teas AND prosecco...all of which are unlimited! We both rolled out of there with pregnant bellies and needed naps afterwards! We had a GREAT weekend away and would recommend this hotel to anyone, especially if you want something a bit special.
