Domaine is surrounded by the beautiful Hautes Fagnes Nature Reserve and around 4 miles from Signal de Botrange, Belgium's highest peak. It is in spacious grounds and features a spa, tennis court, mini golf and ping-pong facilities.

Review 1：the long waiting time for the food, the arrogance of the lady taking the order in the restaurant, to have to pay for a swim !! Euro 20, the food definitively overpriced.

Review 5：bike rentals were expensive and the bikes were POORLY maintained. seats were broken on 2 of our 3 bikes, but we still had to pay for a broken bike. they also had minimal selection for shorter riders. most staff spoke no english and were slow/hesitant to help non-french speaking visitors. the location was hard to access without a car, buses come only once every 3-4 hours, and there is little to shop or eat within walking distance. only plan a trip here if you have a car. wifi was slow and patchy.

Review 11：We had to pay to access the swimming pool 15 eur per adult and 10 per kid, which I think is unacceptable. If you call yourself a 4 star hotel, then the swimming pool access should be included in the room rate. On top of things, we had to rent bathrobes to access the swimming pool area and the access times were limited for children.

Review 13：If you book a stay, you have to pay 20€/adult and 10€/child per day to use the hotel pool or sauna. Definitely not a place to go for families, kids not allowed in the pool most of the day. The hotel restaurant is overpriced, charging 35€ for a gourmet menu, which, for vegetarians, meant pasta with defrosted carrots and peas for the main course. Exta surcharges for standard services.

Review 14：Rooms are modern and clean. A nice park with a playground and a minigilf course surrounding the hotel. A good breakfast buffet.

Review 40：We had two evening meals at the hotel. The second (in the restaurant wasexcellent - both in presentation and flavour) however our first meal wasserved in the bar and arrived after an hour's wait. Havingcomplained the barman fairly offered us free drinks. However within afew hours our son was very ill with severe, continuous vomiting anddiarrhoea for five hours. We felt that this was probably due to foodpoisoning from the meatballs and salad as the next day he was finehowever on checking out we were told that the area had had a recentoutbreak of Norovirus - so we will never know! This problem certainlyruined our short stay but would not put us off returning again.

Review 41：Great location for cross-country skiing, visiting the motor circuit,war museum, abbey and local towns. The hotel appeared clean withpleasant staff. The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious. Thepool, sauna etc. were excellent and my wife thought that the spamassage and facial were fantastic - but brush up on your French as noEnglish is spoken in the Spa.

Review 42：Food in the brasserie could do with more vegetables in a plate.Breakfast had too little personnel, which left dirty tables and emptystocks of certain items. There was alwasy a long line for thecofffee/tea machine, which should try to be resolved. Too littleparking spots for a busy day.

Review 48：Hotel was obviously going through an extensive refurbishment. The smell of paint and glue was evident from the moment you entered. However the room we were allocated was superb for our family needs ( 2 adults and 3 children). We had been informed that we'd get a room with beds for 4 people and they'd place an additional bed in for our youngest. We were shown to a huge room with the biggest bed we've seen in a hotel. Through an adjoining door was a second room with all it's own facilities and a double bed. Breakfast was excellent although waitress was bit dour (scottish word for grumpy looking). Reception staff were informative and helpful. Can't put this down as a "didn't like" but the leisure facilities were not available as the refurbishment hadn't been completed on time - but the hotel had e-mailed us to let us know a couple days prior to arriving and offered to cancel or change booking if we wanted. Overall - don't be fooled by the 1970's exterior the facilities and rooms inside are great.
