Reviews for Hotel Brossard

Review 1:For some reason the television had a lighted on off switch that was so bright it kept me awake for sometime. In fact I had to hang a towel over it. This is the first time I've seen a lighted switch like this. II mention this to the gentilleman working at the front desk when I was checking out. He apologized and said I could've phone at night and they could have fixed it

Review 2:This is the fourth time I've stayed at the hotel in the last few years. Location is very good, the staff are very amiable and professional. The hotel is always clean and I enjoy staying there

Review 3:Terrible heat system that thermostat doesn't work Couldn't sleep all night We report but to deaf ears

Review 4:Very proper , clean Nice furniture Impressive entrance

Review 5:Minor gripes, considering the low price. Not many facilities on site. LCD TV ruined by being locked to low-quality cable TV and pay-per-view system.

Review 6:Large room. Nicely furnished (comfy beds, desk, armchair, mini fridge). Very clean. Quiet. Window could actually be opened to let in fresh air. Decent WiFi. Simple but good breakfast. 10 minute drive to downtown.

Review 7:The drapes weren't long enough to cover a light shining at the window. I like a really dark room for sleeping.

Review 8:The hotel was tastefully decorated and had good quality furniture, bedding and towels. The breakfast was good, especially the coffee. The staff were very helpful with maps and directions into the city.

Review 9:no mention of paying up front, request made online was not honored. Got bottom floor room. Parking lot very dark on side of hotel.

Review 10:clean, up-to-date décor.

Review 11:No stores or restaurants within walking distance.

Review 12:Very clean and good furniture. Good modern bathroom. Very good and helpful staff. Lots of parking. Good breakfast and great coffee.

Review 13:Nothing

Review 14:The hotel was very clean and the bed and furniture were very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing with a variety of options. I would stay here again.

Review 15:the breakfasts were disappointing, the scrambled eggs were hard and the seating area unattractive and not comfortable in terms of feeling squeezed in

Review 16:The room was large and comfortable

Review 17:Had a room smells like freshly painted. I couldn't stand the smell but didn't want to be too picky. The worst breakfast I have seen.

Review 18:Well maintained Hotel.

Review 19:breakfast was okay but they should offer more fruits e.g fresh banana , apple they offered it with syrup ( preserved ones and they dont have a pool :(

Review 20:the room is really clean and big, staff were nice and friendly, location is very convenient

Review 21:The location is good. Between the Montreal downtown and the new Brossard. Free parking and free wifi are essentially attractive for me. Staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Review 22:breakfast very disappointing, even for a 'continental' style breakfast.

Review 23:Comfortable hotel, with good parking and very helpful staff. Lovely room

Review 24:The surrounding is raw, nothing to walk to, breakfast is no in line with the high Standard of the room. But Overall it was a great stay, just too short

Review 25:Great Hotel with amazing high Standard of the room and the staff

Review 26:No bathtub and no Restaurant .breakfast offered very poor ,even muffins not fresh and boxed fruit salad dry on top just to tell you how fresh it was....

Review 27:Staff was nice and helpfulpas

Review 28:Hated the breakfast: day-old pastries, no toast, cheese or cream cheese, no eggs "because on weekends we don't serve eggs!!!!"

Review 29:The room was outstanding, the bed was very good.

Review 30:Breakfast was not offering good choice, no gluten-free choices at all.

Review 31:The service was good, rooms are spacious, comfortable, stylish, aesthetically pleasing, amenities very comfortable. One of the best hotels we stayed in long time.

Review 32:Main entrance doors too heavy for someone with a back problem to open and manage the luggage too. Would have enjoyed some more hot items for breakfast.

Review 33:Large room and large washroom with all comforts.

Review 34:1) There was no coffee machine in the room to make coffee or tea. 2) The pillows were too soft and as a result it was hard to get a good deep sleep.

Review 35:1) The room was spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated and looked very good for the asking price. 2) The shower was awesome with good water-pressure and plenty of hot-water.

Review 36:It was all good.

Review 37:Friendly staff Great room, very comfortable bed, pillows, nice bathroom, great shower. Very clean room and bathroom.Enjoyed our stay. Would recommend this hotel!

Review 38:Very noisy neighbours, had to buy tooth paste instead of it being for free, had to go to Tim's for a cup of tea when I asked for tea bag I was turned away, people trying to come into our room at all times of night (mistaken room)

Review 39:Big washroom and room! Feel of old but with a newer twist on the decor!

Review 40:The only negative thing about the room is some rooms have the projector lights outside the room therefore when you draw the curtains at night its still light in the bedroom but we solved that but pushing the curtains against the window with some furniture. The breakfast was poor with little variety they didn't have any kind of bread..just croasants and they are the cheap type..the breakfast area was a bit cramped and disorganized so some improvement in that department would make my rating to a 10 out of 10.

Review 41:Spacious comfortable room, we stayed 2 nights in a double qeen bedroom with our boys 11 and 8. The sheets are very clean with no stains and the bathroom is new and very clean also. Conveniently located close to the highway and to downtown, would stay there again.

Review 42:first impression beautiful furnishings, clean easy access to Montreal. Staff very helpful, rooms comfortable . Prefer better breakfast foods especially on weekends.

Review 43:A/c didn't work. Called front desk at 1 am and they sent a maintenance man who couldn't find anything wrong with system & told us to wait 20 minutes and call front desk again. It was late, and this was an inconvenience. Upon check out, I explained the experience and the front desk staff did not offer any sign of concern. Very disappointing customer service.

Review 44:Lack of services such as a bar, restaurant, room service.

Review 45:The rooms were very comfortable and very well appointed. Loved the antique looking furniture. The bed was very comfortable.

Review 46:The breakfast does not have many choices for someone who does not eat wheat. No fresh fruit,,no eggs.

Review 47:The room was very nice,,very clean,,and quiet even being the first room closes to the lobby we could not hear anything.

Review 48:This is a highway motel and a good one but it is in a big parking lot on a busy highway - not a place to wander. That said it was just what we were looking for and it was fine.

Review 49:Comfortable, clean, decent breakfast for this type of motel/hotel, efficient staff, good location near a key highway crossing near Montréal.

Review 50:My initial room had broken tv. Should maintain the room more thoroughly. The second room given had a light bulb out. No biggie.

Review 51:Liked the size of the room and the size of bathroom.

Review 52:Clean rooms, nice décor, free parking, friendly staff, good WiFi, easy access to highway, close to Montreal, reasonable price, prompt and courteous staff

Review 53:Breakfast had very little (cereal, Costco croissants, and some juice and coffee). We drove from hotel to downtown Montreal and it wasn't too hard, but maybe a 20 minute drive (bridge can be congested). It just happened that when we were there, they were doing construction, and the GPS routes were blocked off and we had to follow the detours marked on the road.

Review 54:Room was good, WiFi was good, and the bathroom was nice as well. Price is fair, so I expected the drive to Montreal, and we read that the breakfast was an issue here.

Review 55:Stayed here on our way through to Quebec from Toronto and decided to book an extra couple of nights for a few days later whilst attending the F1 Grand Prix. Friendly staff who really go out of their way for you. Good healthy and clean breakfast. Very stylish hotel the pictures just don't do it justice it really is superb we would come again.

Review 56:Breakfast was basic and food tasted like it was yesterdays (bread cakes). No view, but that was expected.

Review 57:Super Clean, up to date style with a nice wall in shower and very quiet (Walls are well insulated from each other.

Review 58:This was our second stay at Hotel Brossard and also our Honeymoon. The hotel staff was very kind and the hotel space was beautiful. We stayed in a suite with a fireplace that kept us nice and cozy. I would absolutely come back again and no I would not consider any other hotel for my next few trips to Montreal.

Review 59:No bad experiences.

Review 60:Location where we were visiting family. If you are going to Montreal do not travel over the bridge during rush hours. If you have to travel during rush hours use the bus.

Review 61:Continental breakfast was limited, you could have cereal or cereal or if you were really hungry there was cereal!...lol But the good at this hotel far outweighed the bad breakfast. We would defiantly stay here again!

Review 62:Very nice room, very clean, staff were all very pleasant.

Review 63:Would have liked warm breakfast options and a pool or gym, but will definitely return here nonetheless!

Review 64:Beautiful decor, comfy bed, wonderful welcoming staff, clean, overall we had a fun experience!

Review 65:This is the second time I've stayed here and I did not enjoy the broken shower. The shower head was leaking so bad there was little to no water pressure. It had already been attempted to be fixed because there was pipe tape all over the shower head fittings.

Review 66:Location is nice and price is a good value. I have stayed here before and had no problems.

Review 67:This property is very well appointed. The luxurious feel of it makes you believe you are at a five stars property. The rooms are very spacious. Huge shower ! Great stay !

Review 68:That I couldn't stay longer!

Review 69:Nice room, with lots of charm & warmth. Quebec always has more emphasise on presentation & it diffinately showed here.

Review 70:Nothing. Everything was great

Review 71:-Great decor -Big comfortable room, nicely appointed -Large travertine washroom was very impressive as well -Loved the style of this hotel -Extremely good value for the money if you don't need to stay right in the city. Location in Brossard was perfect for us as we were visiting friends in Chambly

Review 72:Disappointed that there is no coffee available in the rooms. One must shower, dress and go to the first floor to get coffee from the kitchen. No possibility of taking it easy if this is your choice.

Review 73:Rooms very clean. Quiet atmosphere and spacious room.

Review 74:Nothing. It was all perfect. I would stay there again, in a heartbeat.

Review 75:Comfortable bedroom and bathroom! Clean, great shower, spacious, comfortable. Great breakfast including healthy options (hard-boiled eggs, bran cereal, oatmeal, plain yogurt). My kids loved it. Wifi. Easy parking and easy to get to downtown Montreal. Be careful when entering hotel - it is a quick right turn off the highway - when you're google maps or other app says to exit the highway and that the "destination is on your right", it is really on your right, so signal right away so that the cars behind you know that you are not merging onto the next highway ramp; that you are turning right into the hotel's entrance. The hotel is very easy to see - large red Hotel Brossard sign on top.

Review 76:- Small Tv Screen - No help with Luggage (do it yourself)

Review 77:- Location very convenience - Huge Free Parking Lot - Basic but free Breakfast - Comfort of Beds and New Sheets and Towels - Big Bathroom and Marble Shower

Review 78:The breakfast was just ok and it will be much better if meat or egg products are included.

Review 79:The room is super clean and the furniture is very new( for the third floor king room) however, for the second time of our stay, the level of satisfaction was way lower.

Review 80:After driving for hours, we arrived at 1.15 pm, were told "no rooms cleaned yet". ( highly unlikely in a facility that size, by that time of day).We expressed dismay, then sat down on the lobby to wait, 20 ft. from the desk. Two more couples arrived, registered , were given their room cards and off they went! No explanation, no apology for leaving us sitting there. Not impressed by that. Was it because we got a much better rate by using Booking.com? Hmmm....

Review 81:The property looks old, and I was afraid it would be shabby , but it definitely was not! It is a new property built to look like something from Monte Carlo. Gorgeous rooms, much larger than most, and I loved the little touches like bathrobes, dimmers on the pot lights. comfy furniture and very posh bedding.

Review 82:This hotel is wonderful. It's clean, the rooms and bathrooms are great and the staff has always been super friendly and helpful even if I can't speak French. I had to check out a day early and the girl at the counter quickly called me and said she would reimburse me for the night I couldn't stay! I had assumed that I still had to pay and I was extremely impressed that they went the extra mile to save me some money. If this hotel had a restaurant in it it would be the absolute best place around. Otherwise it is fantastic!

Review 83:There was a musty smell in my room. Not sure where it came from. I thought perhaps they cleaned the carpet and it hadn't completely dried up. Not sure...

Review 84:Very nice personnel, clean hotel.

Review 85:BED SHEETS ON KING BED ARE NOT ABLE TO TUCK UNDER THE MATTRESS AND MOVE ALL OVER. THEY ARE TOO SMALL. BREAKFAST NEEDS SOME PROTEIN LIKE EGGS AND A MEAT. ALSO DECAF COFFEE WOULD BE GREAT

Review 86:LARGE ROOM CLEAN QUIET

Review 87:A bit inconvenient for Montreal, but it's only a few minute drive over the bridge. Nothing close. Suburban type Mall's and restaurants are a short drive.

Review 88:Not your typical lodging. Looks like an old style building but is new. Large comfortable room that was spotless. Best bathroom we have seen in a hotel. Large all marble with walk in shower. Very friendly staff, free parking and normal continental breakfast. The best part it's a couple hundred dollars cheaper than a similar room across the river in Montreal.

Review 89:...at the value for the price. Very classy, clean, and spacious. Only thing it lacks is a restaurant, but that is coming. This place is a real winner (and I'm picky!)

Review 90:Noisy with morning traffic, next time will request room on other side of hotel

Review 91:New facility, very friendly staff, spoke English well, very clean breakfast area, free newspapers in both languages

Review 92:Far from downtown area, which as a tourist I didn't know. Only complaint is that I expected more for the breakfast

Review 93:Staff was very friendly, room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Hotel interior and exterior very attractive looking as well as nice bathrooms. Great stay for the price.

Review 94:Nothing to dislike.

Review 95:I traveled to Montreal often and stayed at 5-Sar hotels before yet always find something negative but Hotel Brossard is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in.. staff is phenomenal, especially Adolfo he became my buddy and the hotel is beautiful.

Review 96:Faminshed breakfast. Non- availability of tea and snacks during day / night.

Review 97:Ease. Of acess, spacious well furnished room, pleasing and courteous staff.

Review 98:Hotel exit and entrance a little difficult to navigate; especially in rush hour as it is directly by the highway

Review 99:Friendly staff Clean room Well appointed room

Review 100:Staying only one night.

Review 101:Friendly staff, free parking on site (hard to find at other hotels), large and pleasant building, busy enough to show you that you are in a sought-after hotel, large room (two well spaced king beds), well equipped and supplied bathroom, all very clean, good location (driving from Toronto) at the intersection of two major highways (no driving through the city streets) and a very good price.

Review 102:Nothing to report.

Review 103:The Hotel was exceptional on all fronts and the staff were friendly & pleasant. We did not experience any language barriers. Great stay!!

Review 104:The room for the breakfast was too small for the size of hotel. I would have preferred that the hotel had a restaurant/bar in the facility.

Review 105:Hotel was clean and good staff. A modest breakfast but adequatell.

Review 106:The breakfast was just OK.

Review 107:The furniture in the room and the public areas in this hotel are absolutely exquisite - like a five-star hotel. Think of the hundreds of hotel rooms I have stayed in, this was the highest quality ever.

Review 108:It was too difficult to get to. The highways and construction made it hard to find for someone unfamiliar with the area. The people across the hall were very noisy until after 11:00. Breakfast was not good for a gluten free person.

Review 109:Nothing..except the fact that i have to go after two nights !

Review 110:The location, the comfort, the kindness of the workers, the warmth of the administration people and of all the workers. The breakfast , so...everything !

Review 111:I LOVED ALL OF THE THINGS!

Review 112:I loved the over all feel of the hotel! The rooms were large, and decorated excellently! The bathrooms we spacious as very elegant! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

Review 113:The location was a bit tricky due to the traffic for the Champlain Bridge but it had an excellent exit to Highway 132.

Review 114:The breakfast bar was a pleasant surprise as we hadn't known it was included.

Review 115:There is no bar/restaurant just a few vending machines.

Review 116:Great value for money with nicely decorated and comfy rooms. Spacious & quality beds. Pleasant staff. Ideal for an overnight stay or base for conference. Located close to the motorway.

Review 117:We had to get a cot for the room. Unfortunately my friend using the cot got bitten several times during our stay.

Review 118:Employees were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. It was nice. Once got the hang of the roadway could get to subway easily and found a very nice community.

Review 119:The only drawback is the lack of a full restaurant but that seems to be the norm for most roadside hotels these days. They had a nice gratis continental breakfast.

Review 120:We were very impressed by the facility, especially given the very reasonable price. It is beautifully decorated in the lobby, hallways and rooms. Very clean and well designed rooms, with a spacious bathroom. The staff were very accommodating. It is also in an excellent location right next to the Champlain Bridge. If this hotel was located in downtown Montreal it would be 4.5 star.

Review 121:A bit too far from downtown by public transport, but only 15-20 min by car.

Review 122:Price was good, accomodation was great, room was specious and clean! Free parking is the best!

Review 123:The Wi-fi could be improved. There were some dips in coverage strength. A kitchen with warm breakfast or microwaves in the room.

Review 124:The room was very cute and clean. The bathroom was great, wonderful setup with a nice shower. The hotel was a 10 minute drive away from Vieux-Montreal and 3 minutes away from a bus depot. Situated on a highway, the hotel is in a very convenient location. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Review 125:Very Impressive hotel, our greeting at front desk was excellent, lobby/room/staff..... All excellent, already looking fwd to our next stay there. Doors that close in the hall way at night, major plus, very quiet hotel, two thumbs way up

Review 126:Absolutely nothing.

Review 127:This is probably the best hotel I have stayed in especially from a value perspective. The hotel was impressive right from the time I entered the doors. And it didn't stop there. I was particularly amazed at the decor and ambiance of the interior, from the overall traditional look yet modern finishings to the very cozy and clean rooms. I was further surprised when continental breakfast was included in the price. I would have easily paid more than twice the price for a similar hotel elsewhere. Elegant, clean, beautiful, great value with a helpful staff. That sums it up. Must-stay for every traveler. I will bring my family here next time for sure.

Review 128:Breakfast was good, but maybe a little more variety would be nice.

Review 129:I loved the room, the beds were so comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Review 130:No pool or restaurant/bar in hotel or within 'next door' range.

Review 131:Felt like we were staying at a fancy downtown hotel and paying motel prices :) Rooms are very nicely furnished, hotel is charming and all was very clean.

Review 132:Inside the shower there was a strong smell of mold.

Review 133:The room was very clean and had everything one could need including a small fridge, iron and iron board towels and bath robes, hair dryer etc. Free parking.

Review 134:Reasons one might complain (though I disagree): Location: It's on the Montreal southern shore. Solution - get in car, turn on car, drive across bridge for less than 10 min, park somewhere (it's not impossible), walk or take subway from there. Remember where you parked. Done, quit complaining. Breakfast: I skipped the breakfast, so I can't judge it. And who cares. Skip the breakfast, and also when you're in Paris, avoid McDonald's. Get it? You don't go to renowned foodie cities for their hotel food. Get out of the hotel in the morning and get some fresh air to start off your day. Hotel staff language skills: They're native French speakers, and they do their best to deal with limited language and unilingual travellers the best they can. It's not going to be perfect. But you'll still come back to Montreal and you'll still go back to Paris.

Review 135:-Great sleep (even though you're quite close to traffic) -Excellent value for money considering quality of room and general hotel amenities. -Fairly ideal location (downtown is right across the bridge!).

Review 136:Nothing negative to say

Review 137:Two young receptionists, were each friendly and very helpful (spoke english).Beautiful, clean building. Welcoming lobby. Spacious, comfortable room. Clean, glass enclosed shower. Free wifi and well stocked kitchenette for breakfast. Good location, just off highway. Definately will stay at Hotel Brossard during my next stay

Review 138:Breakfast was a disappointment. To get to the metro station you'll need a car.

Review 139:Really nice hotel with free parking. Good location right at the highway. Excellent value for money.
