Reviews for Domaine Ol Fosse d'Outh

Review 1:Place was in renovation. This was not mentioned at the info. Half ready but room was still old and the rest of the place was a building site. Misleading to charge full room price and offer no compensation for the incovenience. Outdated small bathroom At 9 several items at breakfast already empty and nor refilled.

Review 2:Location Parking

Review 3:Like a cruise ship on land. Huge and impersonal . No identity to area; could've been in South America!!! No pictures or decorations relative to location. Generous food on sat and sun but skimpy and empty stations on Monday. Paying the same so should always look generous !

Review 4:Food was nice.

Review 5:Parking; parking size DOES NOT support size of hotel. Several parking spots in the underground parking were always double parked. Small underground parking. Loudness; There were guests talking on the hallways. They were very loud; consider the silence of the night! The guest above me sounded as if he had elefants in the room. I guess this reflects on the hotel insulation. Both incident of loudness was at around midnight. Bad timing! Only the receptionists spoike English! C'mon, in such a large hotel??? Warnings, menu, and everything else was only in French! No consideration for other language speaking guests.

Review 6:Friendly reception staff.

Review 7:Nothing stands out as particularly poor.

Review 8:There was nothing particularly good or bad about this hotel --- it was just "adequate". The room was fine and had a TV, small couch, safe, and shower (no tub). Breakfast was okay. My overall rating appears to be a 6.3, but that makes this hotel seem worse than it really is; there truly was nothing wrong with this place.

Review 9:The decor is a bit outdated, but that is not really important.

Review 10:Good hotel for travelling with a group, in the middle of nature. We were there for a trailrun and the hotel didn't mind about dirty shoes and mud :) Large rooms, good breakfast. Great for hinking, mtb and trailrunning.

Review 11:Building work going on. Large group of noisy conference goers, playing music most of one night. Staff not very forthcoming about changes going on in the hotel for example on the first night the temporary bar was in one room, the next another and they didn't seem to worry that guests got it wrong - simply resolved with a directional sign one would have thought. I have stayed here several times before but this will be my last I am sorry to say. It is ideal for families who want swimming, walking, cycling etc but not for us old car buffs - sorry I shall stay elsewhere next time
