Review 1：if you come come by car, the carpark is small thus you have always move the car around so it does not get cramped. and only very limited parking possibilities in the neighborhood.

Review 2：Good starting point to the Rila Mountains, in Samokov city center. Possibilitty to use common kitchen. Room was small, however clean. Good value for money

Review 3：Aleks was really helpful and friendly. Was just a small town, we stopped for a night after visiting the 7 lakes of Rila and a Hot Mineral Pool close by. The guest house is very close to the small town centre. Great value for money.

Review 4：The guesthouse Aleks is very beautiful, neat, clean and well located. Samokov itself is a great place to visit (less touristic than Borovets, many restaurants, local market, good bakeries). The owners are so friendly and caring! They will make you feel like at home. It's a chance to experience the real Bulgarian hospitality. We booked only one night there but finally decided to spend 5 nights at Aleks. Basically I travel all the time and it's the first time that I bothered to write a review so it means that my stay there was really unique.

Review 5：Cold in the room (Christo explained that - being low season - that specific room had been emply for a few days). Not very easy to find without GPS. Difficult to communicate unless one speaks at least some basic bulgarian.

Review 6：Christo, the owner is very friendly and talkative, and he will make you feel like you are staying at a friend's house. Fantastic breakfast. Overall great value for the price you pay.

Review 7：Convenient location near bus station and the city center. The room, bed-clothes, towels, and bathroom were clean. The room includes table, chairs, wardrobe, and TV. WiFi had a good quality. Breakfasts were very good. The owner was very friendly. He provided transfer from the Sofia airport by the same price as taxi (no more than the taxi price from an airport in any big city). He also took me to trailheads and back cheaper than taxi (there is no convenient bus transportation).
