Review 8：Most comfortable hotel bed we've ever slept on. Plenty of hot water for showers. Quiet. All you need for a restful, restoring break away. Closest spot to view the spectacular tidal bore, to stroll the downtown, or shop the mall. Great value & attentive staff.

Review 9：Finally had a chance for a relaxing night away with my spouse with no children. We were given a drive up room instead of the main building. The people in the next room were loud and drunk and invited more people to party outside our door on the sidewalk until 4 am. No staff came to intervene. Got no sleep at all and was very disappointed. Will not be back.

Review 11：Deposit was too high. Very small rooms with even smaller bathroom which has barely any room to move around. Only one of two card keys worked. $4 for a bottle of water in our room when in most places its complimentary. Won't return.

Review 19：Location was perfect; directly downtown adjacent to restaurants and Tidal Bore park. Breakfast room was bright, cheery and clean. Staff at front desk was personable, welcoming and funny. We thoroughly enjoyed our stopover in Moncton in part due to the Rodd Moncton.

Review 20：Carpet was stained dirty, bathroom was tiny, room smelt of chlorine and the it seemed to be the party part of the hotel as it was loud most the night. We ended up switching hotels the next day as I had surgery and needed something more comfortable and quiet.

Review 22：Although clean, this property has little else good to say. The bath/ shower old fashioned ceramic tile with many repairs and stained. The tub was old and required a rubber matt to prevent slipping. The room had a dank mouldy smell and was very small. One of the beds was so bad, you couldn't sit on it because the mattress collapsed almost completely underneath of you. You could hear the broken springs clunking inside the mattress whenever you moved. Certainly no a place I would ever return to or recommend.

My ceiling starting leaking from the room above and the response I got from the staff working when I checked out was but it didn't rain yesterday. Very disappointed would not return. Cheaper price but still way too much for the experience.

Review 26：I booked a deluxe queen room through booking.com and got the hotel to find out it didn't properly go through even though I had the confirmation sheets... Ended up paying for something I didn't want. Check in took 30 minutes and the staff made it seem like I was a bother....

Review 29：Your front desk staff were great, the manager was so kind to our daughter, she even gave her a little gift from the basket. we stayed Friday the 28th of Aug, so whoever worked the front desk went above and beyond to make our evening.

Not really a reflection of the hotel, but I might suggest getting there before 9a to avoid the crazies. (The food selection was pretty good though.)

Review 49：The only things that I'd like to point out is that our used towels were never taken from our room. By the end of our stay we had a mountain of towels that we did not need anymore. Also, we used the coffee pot the first day and it wasn't cleaned out the next day. And the last thing is that $4.00 is over priced for that bottle of water.

Review 50：I liked the location, everything was very close. I liked that my room was on ground level and I could park right outside the door. The decor of the room is really modern and nice looking. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly.

Review 51：The staff was amazing! It was a very nice, comfy hotel. The location was only thing about the whole experience i can speak poorly of, only because it was on a very busy street. Other than that it was absolutly wonderful!

Review 52：We stayed in an addition to the building and the corridor had a couple areas where we had to step up 1 step to a different level , then down 4 steep steps. Just to be aware if travelling with anyone who has mobility issues.

Review 53：The staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We were fortunate enough to be able to park directly outside our room which was very nice. The room was clean and comfortable however the bathroom was a bit small. The free breakfast in the morning was excellent. I am a celiac and they offered gluten free cereal and the staff toasted bread for me in a separate toaster in the kitchen. The tidal bore occurred directly behind the motel. A very nice spot. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Review 101：Really noisy neighbours first night which when struggling with jet lag wasn't ideal. using the shower seemed to give off a smell of damp, however this was lessened after the maids had cleaned the room, which was daily, but if you had a shower after they had done that you could smell it from the bed during the night

Good location, short walk into town, 2 minutes from the pumphouse one way, 3 minutes from a massive superstore in the other.

Although they've made lots of improvements inside the rooms, the rest of the property (especially the hallways) is quite run down. I suspect this will be a much nicer property in a few years, as they continue renovation work. Breakfast is truly horrid. Skip it and go somewhere else.

Review 113：Your walls are paper thin. We could hear people talking in the next room. The pipes bang and creak every time someone uses the water. We did not sleep much at all. It was a nightmare! I will never stay there again!

Review 115：We were in the older drive-up section of the hotel and we barely slept due to the sound of the pipes. Once the local bars closed some guests decided it was a good idea to shower for 30 minutes and the noise from the ininsulated pipes woke us up. We were up most of the night.

Review 118：The hotel staff were very accommodating , but the guests around us which is harder to control were very noisy and left there hockey bags in the hall so everyone had to smell their gear rather then Keeping it in their rooms . Must have been an adult hockey tournament in town . They were loud and in the hall a lot . We should have asked to move but we had already been accommodated by the staff to stay in the same room friday and Saturday so I didn't really want to bug them after they had done so much . The room we were in had a closet for a bathroom . It could have been a bit bigger .

Review 125：The bathroom floor looked dirty and worn which was a shame because although the room was tiny it had been nicely refitted and was clean. They were supposed to have breakfast available until 10 am instead it was only until 9 am because of "holidays " and then they did not offer the usual breakfast fare only dry cereal,a few various breads to toast as well as coffee and ccondiments. I was dealing until the last couple to come were served with eggs sausage toast etc MY ĹAST NIGHT AT THIS HOTEL

Review 127：When we arrived at the hotel they did not have our reservation, booking.com did not send our reservation to the hotel. Luckily there was a room available! I was not impressed with booking.com but Rodd Moncton was very helpful and accommodating!

Review 128：We were put in room 201 which was right at a set of lights. I went to bed around 11:00 and didn't fall asleep until after 2:30. If the light was red, the cars and motorcycles that stopped at the lights were revving their engines and I had a very sleepless night. We were schedule to stay for three nights but we just stayed for two and went to the Casino hotel where it was much quieter and the rooms were much bigger. The bathrooms should have a towel rack to hang a hand towel and there was no place to put our toiletry bags as well.
