Review 1：No WC in the bedrooms (but we knew it in advance!)
Review 2：Well located,nice staff that speaks English. Perfect to spend the night without waiting for luxury. Free parking. You must take your blankets and towels if you dont want to pay forma it.
Review 3：Jean is wonderful. The location is great. Splendid Palace is somewhere between a hostel and a hotel. Some rooms are ensuite. Mine was not but there were new, clean showers and toilets down the hall. My room did have a small balcony and I sat out there in the morning. There is a refrigerator, microwave and waffles and chocolate biscuits in the dining area. I loved sitting on the veranda and looking out over the river and the town. It's close to the train station. I enjoyed it so much, I stopped in again on my way back through Dinant.
Review 4：Staff could have been around a bit more, when leaving we had a couple of questions and rang the service bell lots of times but no reply. Left a little frustrated.
Review 5：Man on reception was very friendly and helped us lots, especially hiring bikes! Location is great if you're travelling by train. Wifi was good, showers were powerful with hot water. View from our balcony was beautiful, had a great stay.

Review 8：The fact that you have to pay extra for bed sheets and towels. I find this bizarre because the price was quite high at 58 euros per night in Ibis or other hotels you get the towels even daily replaced. Showers and restroom are not in the room so you need to go at the end of the corridor. I would not recommend for more than one night. Be careful, the check-in starts at 17:30 but they provide you a place to store the baggage if you come by foot.
Review 9：Location is very good with a nice view over the river Meuse. Very close to the center, 10 min walk. Overall cleanness and very friendly staff. When we arrived they served us free coffees and juice on the nice terrace.
Review 10：- the room has no furniture you'd expect to see in a hotel/hostel room, besides beds, table and 2 chairs - torn linoleum on the floor - ancient, creepy, uncomfortable and dangerous for kids beds: sharp metal edges, plastic matress 20 cm shorter than bedframe - bedlinen cost 3 EUR extra, you have to make bed yourself. - free wifi that barely works - I wasn't able to get warm water from shower The interior of this "splendid" palace deserves mentioning: it's old building of late 19th century. If well maintained this could have been a very cosy place. Instead it's quite stinky and spoiled with leftover furniture from old times and cheap Ikea stuff. This doesn't affect the comfort of your stay, but contributes to the overall impression. I know that there are slightly more expensive hotels/bnb's in the area.

Review 12：That we didn't expect it to be a hostel. There is no breakfast and we had to make our own beds. We paid the same price we paid another night in the area for an amazing b&b with breakfast.
